Should LEGO cut ties with Shell?
Cyberbricker replied to legoman19892's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I do a lot of volunteer work for a handful of organizations in Belgium and recently a politician leaked a blacklist on to the media with organizations they consider hostile to the government and its ideals. On it are some of the organizations I am a volunteer for. One of these organizations I am a volunteer for just wants to help people to live healthier and cut back on eating meat, not stop completely, but jut eat a meat-free meal one day a week to help yourself and the environment. This is apparently against the "economy" (lots of Belgian politicians have shares in the livestock industry) and costs our country money (more like costing our politicians money...) Anyone think they are biased to put us on a blacklist???? Other "organizations on the list are "The Outlaws", "Hell's Angels", "Bite Back", "Greenpeace"...- 214 replies

Should LEGO cut ties with Shell?
Cyberbricker replied to legoman19892's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It's a smart way to get the next generations attention as well as the current generation. I for one try to be environmentally aware and have cut back on LEGO sets a long time ago. I used to collect everything from the Star Wars Theme, but now I only buy the sets I really really want and if a sets is re-released and looks better, I try to update my old one. Also I only use a bike for transportation and I'm a vegetarian/vegan, I only drink tab water, really nothing else but tab water . I don't have a cell phone (imagine people's faces when I tell them I don't have a cell phone ), I try to buy products that are not wrapped in plastic and my girlfriend made our own bread bags so that when we go the bakery they don't have to use a new one every time, and much more stuff. I know LEGO is trying to do their best, but plastic is plastic. Not just LEGO plastic of course, many other companies are to blame, but also the consumer. Still oil will not always be there, actually it's almost gone which is why they have to go and drill near the Arctic, Shell needs to be stopped and the only way to stop them is by targeting their market!! The time that we can all bury our head in the sand has long past!- 214 replies

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Cyberbricker replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Yeah, I think lego hasn't figured out that ARC troopers are not generic clone troopers, but very specific to each unit! On the box you can see like 4 ARC hammers fighting the Commando Droids... -

Just got back from the lego store in Begium, I left without buying anything, the prices are just to high. The only set with a good price/piece count is the B-wing. -

Yeah, I'm not doubting the art work, just the printing machines. 1 out 5 of my clone trooper helmets has bad printing, its just all over the place. -

[KEY TOPIC] Official LEGO Sets made in LDD
Cyberbricker replied to Calabar's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
6949 Robo-Guardian. Theme: Space Subtheme: Spyrius LXF File - LDD version: 4.3.8 Errors: Piece "3651" replaced with piece "32039" None of the printed parts are available. All the parts that should have prints have been left blank or have been given alternative printing. One of my favorite old-time sets. Never got it, but still want it. I hope someone enjoys it the same way I do!- 5035 replies

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
Cyberbricker replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The Star Destroyer is the better of the 2. The Star Destroyer is of a mush better design, better figures, better structure. I collect everything from Star Wars, except for the bigger frigates, cruisers and star destroy sets, but this year I might be tempted to get the ISD!!. -

Still hoping they will bring out an AAT later on this year, maybe with a Naboo Palace Guard, that would be great. I think this MTT is smaller for price reasons. The last one sold at 159€ over here, so pretty expensive. -

I have to see this set for real first, hopefully my local lego store will put it on display. If only they would make an AAT to accompany this new MTT. -

They do this all the time... When the new epII clones came out, they include the old CW clone in the Calendar. When we got new face printing for the Reb soldier, an old one was include in calender without the pupils.... I think its TLG way of getting rid of some old stock. -
