And this is why I love Lego Technic. Love it! -
WH Smith selling CMF series 7 on 3 for 2 offer.
PaulBaldowski replied to Duck's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Oh... Might be worth making a trip to the local Smiths. Or nipping out to Cheshire Oaks. -
So, will you be creating some scaled advertising to go on the side?

MOC - 1950's Australian Suburban Street
PaulBaldowski replied to lightningtiger's topic in LEGO Town
Showed my wife and she loved it. She wasn't so keen on my suggesting she might remember an Australian street scene from the 1950s! -
Darn Golden Dragon seems desperate to grab the limelight in that picture - and all the focus. The models look good.

MOC - Hardware & Electrical Appliance Store

Great attention to detail. Get me a coffee! -
Great work. Brilliant guide.

As mentioned by someone earlier, those purple drive bricks make a neat offset from the paler construction. Nice work.

Personally I could see this in Star Wars or Star Trek. Nicely generic sort of scifi build. For SW, it'd be an Imperial build, probably.
-
Love it. I'm a big mecha fan and making it steampunk... great stuff.
-
Those look good to me. I love the compact little red freighter best of the two.
-
Sheesh! That thing is huge. Brilliant work.

I'm so excited I just might wee myself... What a HUGE model. I'm stunned by how thick that manual is!
-
Really great. I'm torn between checking out of the original in the movie and running upstairs to the Lego drawers to see if I have the pieces...
-
That's a brilliant use of bricks and sense of composition. A thoroughly impressive display.

That wall in the backdrop alone makes me want to squeal with glee. What an utterly incredible build. Stunning.
-
I agree with an earlier comment. I love the retro-style - the build that creates something out of Lego from scratch. Great stuff.

The perfect Gungan city... Entirely Gungan free! LOL!
-
Utterly cool. I love those little variations in colour that make a minifig so different.

Rendezvous at the Armoured Goose Inn
PaulBaldowski replied to Mencot's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Seriously awesome. Absolutely love the detail. -
I love the sense of organic. The tree, the fence... the feel of a somewhat random construction. It fits the theme and the idea. Love it.

Whether snow or white rock, I agree with the previous posters. The contrast really makes a big difference. Great work!

I love the towers, the use of those narrowing pieces between the windows. Brilliant work.
