    Skyscraper related threads or sub-forum?

I'd say probably Town I'm sure there's people in there who can help. What scale are you thinking? I would assume a minifig scale empire state building would be massive and a huge undertaking. I wish you all the luck in the world with that, if that's what you're thinking.

    MOC: Maciej Drwięga Train Station

Okay so my first thought when I saw the picture of the crane was "that's not LEGO, why is it highlighted?" Then I looked closer...HOLY COW!! I also love that ruined fence and the two trucks.

Library Plaza: Town scene with subway below

Saw the exhibit today and I have to say I was a little disappointed. I thought the other displays would be more up to par with your town scene. But I digress, I'm loving this so much right now. Its the little details that get me, the planter, the traffic light and the statues. Really impressive work.

    Hillside House MOD

Wow very impressive, as much as I like the house itself my favorite part is the brick built dog. I am impressed!!

    MOC Brick Beach

Wow very impressive! I really like the underwater part and the transition from beach to water is very well done. Keep up the great work!

    LEGO TATTOO!

Love the Bender. I've wanted to get a zoidberg tattoo for a long time, but pretty sure my girlfriend would kill me. I have a huge Red Sox logo on my chest from when I was 18 and said "Hey I'm 18 I love the Sox and I want a tattoo! Also I'm 18 so I'll never regret it" I also have a heart with my ex wife's initials in it that I just got filled in...so yeah nothing new from me without running it by her...

    The view from my office

Better than my office my desk is in a giant room with frosted glass with one small clear window that overlooks my parking lot...that's what i get for working in a mail order pharmacy (high security)

    Ideas for new City sets

With all the new animal molds we've gotten recently, it's amazing we don't have some sort of zoo or circus theme.

    MOC: Bust My Buffers!

That's fantastic! My 3 year old love thomas more than anything (except maybe firetrucks) I grew up loving it too abd its nice to see it with system bricks. My son has all the megablocks sets as much as it kills me but lego doesn't have the license. Although in my opinion the "duplo" scale from mega and kego are pretty comparable so I don't mind them so much in my house. I think I'll go work on a harold when I get home tonight.

Now I'm curious what is the best way to make custom stickers for minifigs and whatnot? Any special computer programs and paper/printer

My Name is Perry; I've heard Doofenshmirtz is hiding here?

As a fellow fan of Phineas and Ferb I have to say anyone who doesn't find that show funny has no soul. My son and I watch it every day and the songs are some of the best parts. Welcome to the site its fun here too.

     DOURKAU, Japanese crab restaurant

Wow fantastic all the way around! I love the way you did the back garden seating and the riverfront looks great. Where do the crab elements come from? I don't think I've seen them before.

    LDD MOC: Stobie Pole

The way you did the streetlight is really nice. Simple, but it works really well...I may have to steal it for my MOC's overall good stuff.

    Hello everyone!

Hello everyone, I'm Tom from Hampton New Hampshire, USA. I'm originally from a small town outside Boston, MA (Medford), and am 25 years old. I have two wonderful boys aged three and nine months. I have been a Lego fan for as long as I can remember and just recently dusted off my collection and stared sorting, after rediscovering the AFOL community. I have been on here before and lurked for a long time, but between three moves and two children I haven't been on much. Finally I am in a place with reliable internet and space for my Lego (although still packed in boxes), so I figured I'd sign up and start to become active in the groups. My other interests include videogames (mainly Xbox 360 and classics), baseball (Boston Red Sox), and hockey (Boston Bruins). Okay enough with the boring non-Lego stuff, I have loved Lego since I was probably four years old and have kept just about every piece I have ever owned. My favorite themes have always been the classic town stuff from the mid to late 90's along with the 9V trains. Currently I am not MOC'ing but sorting and unpacking. A big reason why I finally joined was to get resources and ideas for sorting and storing. I'm a little anal when it comes to organization (you should see my tool shed!) but I by all means use my Lego for their intended purpose. I love to create cityscapes and new buildings that are minifig scale. My master plan is to create a replica of my hometown of Medford, MA along with the house I grew up in on a complete minifig scale. I'm always on the lookout for people sharing my interests so if anyone is in the New England area I would glady get together in any fashion if needed. I don't mean to ramble and my "t" key barley works, but I hope this topic is informative and hope I can find some friends on here. Thanks for being patient with the rambling, anything anyone wants to know just ask I'm open to answer anything. Obviously due to safety and security reasons my address and phone number will not be posted anytime soon (if ever(probably never)). P.S. I feel like this whole post reads like a profile on a bad dating website hope that doesn't bother anyone

    Hello everyone!

My mistake, I only put that there in case anyone in the area was looking for someone to help on a project or something I'm always looking to meet more people with the same interests. And also, because I'm on my blackberry and can't figure out how to do multiple quotes, I thought about doing microscale but I just love the look of minifig scale buildings with full interiors. I'm working on a liquor store right now as my first big build at the moment. I saw the new stuff from brickforge and got the idea. We'll see what happens. By the way which is the proper forum for posting wips pictures of this ambitious project?

    Hello everyone!

Well it's more of a pipe dream at this point. It started out as being my house, then the square I grew up in, now I want to build my whole town (9 sq miles). It probably will never happen due to time, space, money, etc. but I will do at least part of it. By the way its Medford, MA if you're interested.

    Cataloguing your collection

I honestly don't care about my sets all that much so I don't catalog them I'm more into the parts. I had an excel spreadsheet that I had been working on for about 2.5 years, but my computer crashed and I lost everything. Since then I haven't had the time or space to sort and catalog my collection, but checked out brickstore and will probably used that when I restart. As for the issue of why catalog and keep track, for me it's very therapeutic to sort and organize. Also, when I'm building something I like to know exactly where everything is and if I even have enough of said piece.
