  1. Hello Here is my model of a Resurgent-class Star Destroyer - 1 metre long - 6800 pieces Planning to start building it in real bricks within the coming months, will update thread with pictures.
  2. I’m using metacritic, which is an average score aggregate. TFA has an 81 and TLJ has an 85, which is unbelievabley high, most marvel films fall into the 60-70 range, That means on average critics (who are professionals and have professional degrees in media and the arts) gave TFA a 8.1/10 and TLJ and 8.5/10. Please actually check the critical acclaim before you try and disprove it. It is an objective measurement not some bad anecdote.
  3. It is highly unlikely that it would change that fact. And it still doesn't change that they're 2 of the most critically acclaimed blockbusters this decade.
  4. FACT: The Sequel Trilogy is the highest grossing trilogy of all time FACT: The Sequel Trilogy is the most critically acclaimed star wars trilogy ever, and the 3rd most critically acclaimed of all time FACT: Both films in the trilogy have 'A' cinemascores, indicating a good reception.
  5. Wow that was quick, and it looks great, you've captured the window excellently.
  6. God this thread has a lot of wrong information, also https://deadline.com/2019/10/star-wars-rising-skywalker-pre-sales-nearly-double-avengers-engame-1202765636/ Professional tracking hasn't even started for TROS, so you're making that up. And the teaser trailer is the most viewed star wars teaser ever, so I have no idea where you getting the "no hype" thing from.

@2mpaired yeah, the bridge is slightly too big, however that's because I really wanted to use the 3/12 wedges so there wouldn't be any gaps and I could have the best surface to work on putting the detail, and I plan on starting it at least sometime soon.

I have enough pieces in my collection to build the frame and maybe the underside, so ill get working on those first.

@LEGODrongo01 I've just now past the piece count for the UCS so its going to have more pieces, however bricklinking it probably would be cheaper just because pieces are just cheaper there, its looking to be around 6500 at most with a lot being small greeble pieces.

its currently 1m long, which is slightly smaller than the new UCS one.

Once I've completed it I will probably put the file up for download. whether or not I will make instructions depends, they seem like quite the investment to make, so we'll see once I've got it built in real bricks.

Sith Star Destroyer by arkeeos, on Flickr The bridge is now complete! one of the most painful areas to get working was the 2 panels behind the bridge as they are at a very awkward angle. Ive also started work on some of the greebling on the superstructure, however im not 100% happy with it, and it will likely be changed. I've never really done any greebling like this before, so its a challenge getting to right balance of random and organized and messy and clean.

It wasnt too hard, figuring out the angles is the hardest part, I just stole the frame of mine from @NathanR in this thread which gave me a starting point to then put the panels on. You could make the frame yourself but figuring out how to get everything to fit together perfectly is a pain.
