Thanks 'Only Sinner'! That's what I was going for. Brutal space orcs/trolls that may not have the sleekest or most advanced technology but they use what they have to get the job done.

The color scheme is great and I especially love the use of the skis on the backside.

The Boar Class ship is the planetary workhorse of the Vaarthul Syndicate. It main uses are terrestrial transport and fortification assault with short distance interplanetary usage when necessary. The craft makes up for its lack of speed and limited maneuverabilty with its offensive capabilty and heavy armor. Mounted on top is a twin linked ion particle cannon and located on the sides of the hull are plasma blasters. If the weaponry can't penetrate an enemy bunker, some of the more reckless/less intelligent pilots have been known to ram their ship through the walls. The ship can carry one pilot and three troops with full loadouts or one pilot and up to two tons of cargo. Weapon Storage / Trophy wall: Top removed for minifig access:

I'm working on a project using the recent Galaxy Squad figures. Specifically, the orange flavored ones. I'm about 20% in on a hangar/motorpool area in which I'll put some vehicles and figures. Sunday, I started a fast attack off-road vehicle. The following photos are to give a general idea of the finished vehicle. It was 2 studs wider but it looked weird so I changed it. I'm not so sure about the length. I have to swap out some pieces for correct colors (I was building with what I had in front of me and didn't take the time to find all the right colors) and add some transparent yellow and red for the headlights and taillights. The underside needs some more structure/support added. I'm thinking about adding a tow hitch in the back. I need to add some weaponry to the swivel turret (it can turn 360 without snagging). Once I decide on a final build, I want to make a few more of them. Maybe add different weaponry and put a plow/blade on one of them. Let me know what you think so far and feel free to offer suggestions. If you guys want, I'll add pics of the installation I'm working on. The beret and helmets are from Brickforge.

These would be great! Add in The Phantom and it would be perfect. I've been thinking about making a Flash Gordon with the red jacket torso that features the classic space logo. And you could use the minfig series magician for Mandrake and have a good start to The Defenders of the Earth.

REVIEW: 6863 Batwing Battle Over Gotham City
maelstrom replied to montgocloud's topic in LEGO Licensed
I like the copter. I will go along pretty well with the old one. As for the Batwing, I'm really digging it. It may need a couple of small mods but I like the fact that it is smaller than the old one. I sold my original because it looked too big and took up too much display space. This one seems to be less unwieldy for play. I'll have to build a display stand/launch bay for it like the old one had. -
I would love to see Sabretooth in 6866 and some SHIELD agents in 6868.

This is something I would love to see and would make tons of sense. Considering how many characters are in both Marvel and DC universes, the would be the best way to get heroes and villains that would not normally be in the regular sets. They could treat it like Minimates or DC universe and do a few core characters in each wave along with B- and C-list characters. With DC for example, if they followed the 16 figure per series formula, you could have some mainstays like Flash, Martian Manhunter, Darkseid, some alternate costume Batman or Superman figs, and then some members of the JSA, Teen Titans, Secret Six, etc.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 4 discussion
maelstrom replied to legokuate's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I received 10 of these today in an order from TRU. 1 x Hockey Player 1 x Ice Skater 1 x Soccer Player 1 x Geisha 1 x Skateboarder 2 x Frankenstein 1 x Sailor (YAY!) 2 x Garden Gnome I don't really care for the Ice Skater, Hockey Player, or Soccer guy. I love the details on the Skate Boarder's hat and board. And I was very much so hoping for a Hazmat fellow, but I am sure everyone else is too and I can always buy more. -
Those are great! I really love the classic ship. Now, I want to see a scaled up version of the second Space Police ship. If it has not already been done, I would love to see a game designed around ships of this scale. Something like Battlefleet Gothic.

Very awesome build! But......can he beat Squidtron in a fight?
-
I really like the sets but I can't see myself collecting them all. They won't exactly fit in with the rest of my city layout. I plan on getting the shuttle to display separately and to maybe make occasional landings on the runway.

In my city, I have MagnaTronics. They are the technological company that will become M:Tron in the future.

Those sliding doors are great! I'm a sucker for working features like that. Keep up the great work.
