Man the interior just makes the ship all that much more attractive. Well done on back roof pivot design.

Wow that is far away :/ If that's really the case I wonder why Lego decided to push it so far ahead. Did not mean to offend anyone. Some of us don't know where to look or simply don't have the time to scroll through every single comment.

I'm sorry if this has been answered before but when do the new wave of Rogue One sets release in the US? I see the UK and other European countries has already received them.

Love how you got the colors just right. I don't understand when people make lego snowspeeders with white.
-
And I hope they're aren't white. I understand people consider the official color of the x wing as white but I just don't see it. Every time I see in X wing in the movies it's a light gray, even in Rogue One. White is just too strong of a lego color on the lego version of X wings and really ruins the authenticity of what it's trying to replicate.

[MOC] Rogue One - "secret room scene" (IDSMO-R3)
Green Rey replied to markus1984's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Ahhh!! that is so awesome! The only thing the lego version needs is the lit up bacta tank and then you're all set. -
Finally someone gets the color right. However, I do feel the snowspeeder does need some of the iconic orange it has in the movie. Great job with the design.

Awesome! probably better than the official lego model. Any shots of the cockpit?

Dual REVIEW: 2007 LEGO Star Wars Battle Packs
Green Rey replied to ILikePi's topic in LEGO Star Wars
These were some of the best battlepacks Lego has made. Perfect for army building, true blaster molds and useful part inventory. -
Beautiful work. I absolutely love the cockpit design. Any shots of the interior though?

I didn't realize this was Lego at first. Then when I started seeing closer images of the star destroyer, my eyes just peeled. Absolutely amazing work.

That sounds like an amazing set. Although yes, quite boring if you dont include plenty of minifigures, it does make for an awesome Lego to place on your shelf. For me, I'd want a cloud city set for around $90 to $120 dollars.
-
I absolutely love that cockpit. I would just like to shrink down and have someone fly me around while I sit in there haha.
-
Exactly. In attempt to eliminate the top crank, I moved it to the bottom. Works perfectly fine and is hardly noticeable against the black, and it actually makes for a practical spot. Bad part is that you have to remove the rear gray landing gear. Still working out the kinks however. I'll probably be making a post about the mod later later on.

I was mostly talking about the mechanism used on the S foils. You mentioned its from set 9493. I dont like the mechanism used for the newer x wings. It somewhat destroys the sleek look they were going for. Moving it over to the rear just seems more appropriate to me, its just I haven't found a way to do that with Poe's x wing and its irritating haha.

Nice touch to the interior/cockpit. The only real thing that is missing are the spokes on the backsides of the solar panels. It does appear to be a bit wider than the SF tie fighter. If I were you, Id use the official Lego SF tie fighter as a point of reference to determine the width of the FO/Tie fighter.

what kind of mechanism did you incorporate into the s foils? rubber band? or ratcheted wings? I would love to see a shot of the interior.

[MOC] Mid-Scale Millennium Falcon with interior
Green Rey replied to Kroom's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I just find it crazy that a smaller scale of the millenium falcon has a more accurate layout of the in uinverse falcon, compared to the one Lego designed with the expense of any parts in their inventory PLUS custom parts need be.- 17 replies

[MOD] Imperial Shuttle and two First order TIE
Green Rey replied to mordatre's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The unfinished spokes on your FO tie fighters would bug me, but I understand the design you chose reduces the bulkiness and weight of the tie fighter while still represent the spokes. Unlike what Lego was unable to do from either price reduction or plain laziness. -
I agree. Clone Wars: -501st troop batlepack, includes 3 501st clones and 1 commander -Galactic marine clone trooper battlepack, includes 3 galactic marines and 1 commander (bacara style) First Order 2 regular First order stormtroopers, 1 gunner and 1 squad leader or officer. I think these sets would be extremely popular. Not sure why Lego doesnt see what fans really want.

Are those actually confirmed sets? Where are the TFA sets? lol

Is it time for Lego to update their blaster rifle models?
Green Rey replied to RetroInferno's topic in LEGO Star Wars
With all these special molds being made for The Force Awakens, I believe unique lightsaber hilts are just over the horizon. They've already made a unique mold for count dooku's hilt a while back, so why not make special hilts for Luke's and Anakin's lightsaber? Sets including those would sell like hotcakes. -
I love how this MOC pays tribute to the old official Lego cloud car sold in early 2000s
