Most people who thinks the re-release of sets are garbage only view it from an old collector's lens. In contrast, those who Started collecting Star Wars late will wish that all the good ones they missed are re-released. As for minifigs, I do like that TLG do not update the minifigures too often.... Otherwise it is going to be very difficult to catch up and complete a collection... Or even build an army with uniform prints. It's great that we see something new and something familiar to satisfy both old and new fans.

Btw, if this is like the last "Force Friday" I hope that it is coordinated worldwide like the last time.

It seems that you didn't read the store terms on payments. When I was a newbie in BL, all I really have to do is pay attention to the terms written in each store and drop a message to the seller to indicate that I am new to make sure I get the instruction crystal clear so I won't mess up. It also helps to setup an email notification and rule to ensure that you don't miss any Bricklink email. After 3 to 5 orders from different stores - it is very straight forward as soon as you get comfortable with different store policies. It is not different from any online selling platform like eBay. Things will only get complicated if you don't reply to sellers or you don't pay on time which will then reflect on your feedback.

I know that many people are fascinated by shiny things and from time to time I do appreciate chromed minifigures. However, as minifigures are intended to be toys - it just happened to be collectable and looks good to be displayed. Now, as stated above chromed parts peeling off will vary...but all factors beings being equal - acidity, temperature and whatever corrosive agents - I am not keen to let my children play with chromed parts because like it or not they will ingest some of them. So I rather have less chromed parts to worry about when buying kids present. Im sure TLG had factored in safety on releasing chromed parts and minifigs. You don't give out keychains for children to play so I am guessing that's the reason why TLG have more liberty to release chromed keychains.

So true. I pity Simpsons series 2 because the character variations did not even had accessories that will lure you to buy the blind bag... to most people they will only see them as repeats. Disney series 2 should not repeat that grave mistake.

It is supposed to be a camera lens... as a lens cap with a hole is silly. :PI thought it is a common practice to use 1x1 round tile, 1x1 round plate and 1x1 round brick to make different lens for minifig camera.

The first half of 2016, Skybound sets, are not that great either.... which is fine because the second half of 2016 have very strong selection of vehicles and playsets.The first wave tends to focus more on vehicles and small / cheaper sets.

70621 - probably a good army builder if it is just $10... comes with 2 villains and Kai. 70623 - I'm not liking this vehicle - but it supposed to counter 70625 because it appears to be of the same size and it got two catapults at the back. 70624 - not fond of this kind of ship... but does looks like what Destiny Bounty is without the sail, bulkhead and cabin.... so mainly the main deck with the additional wing?? 70625 - looks like Zane's Tumbler and Rock Raider combined but with the two 6-studs shooters at the back. The new Medusa-like villain intrigues me...

I don't know what version the current EB forum is running and in my knowledge the software being used by EB supports the "like" function out of the box by default so if it is disabled now, I don't think it will be enabled after the upgrade. Would be great to get the list of new features coming up.

This is good news. I hope that this will address the spam issue more effectively. I have reported quite a number of spammers and I wonder why they keep on coming. As a previous owner of forum/online community years ago when I was still doing pro-bono work online, I appreciate this effort to keep the boards updated. Frankly I never thought forums will survive with the rise of social media but I still go back to old school forum community. All the best and I look forward to the upgraded forum!

It goes without saying that TLG is trying out new ways to re-introduce "highly scalped" products more to the masses - we've seen more instance of that lately. I do hope that this will drive the aftermarket price down of Revan and force the price gougers to rethink or exit the whole practice altogether.

Everyone seems to be in agreement that the new Phantom will be a great buy. I hope that the pricing in my region will be priced reasonably. Seems like I have more Star Wars sets to buy this year and yet we are only getting the first half of 2017.

I hope there is something equivalent of this promotion in my region. There is no stores that carry VIP points here but I look forward for some freebies like Darth Revan to be available too.
