Hey guys! I'm having a hard time tracking down the final series of Mixels here in Ireland. Seems like this one & the previous came out in much fewer numbers & in much fewer places. And series 9 is "out of stock" on the Lego store :( Can anyone recommend any places in Ireland where I can find these? Really hoping I don't have to resort to forking out the current scalper prices the recent Mixels are going for on eBay....

Those reviews are fantastic! Great to clearly see all the details/pieces! :) I just picked up a whole load of Series 6 Mixels from my local Tesco on sale for 75p each! Crazy cool value! Lots of neat ball joints & various handy bits right there! I really must get around to trying to make some of my own Mixels sometime... I'm really loving the first wave of Series 7... especially those Mixies! Really cool constructions & I dig the bright yellow/purple color combo.

Nice! The Series 9 guys shape & construction are great... but *meh* I *really* dislike the color schemes going on. :( For me, one of the great attractive qualities of the first few Series were the strong unifying colors of each Tribe. The Green trash guys look ok, but the lack of a unifying color that makes some kind of sense really hurts the Ninjas & TV guys imo. It's especially annoying knowing there are still plenty of color options not even touched yet (pink in particular, a lot of pastels) & combinations of 2 colors that would work much better than these... "mostly black" but some little bits or orange or blue & yellow combos that don't work well. Mostly black is really boring. I would much rather that the Ninja guys were entirely black with maybe just red masks/minor highlights - that would have worked better & made them pop more I think... and I would much rather that the TV guys went easy on the black & used a nicer new color combo. Oh well. I'll get 'em all cos I have all to date (& then some, lol, I have 3 sets of everything so far, so I can have each Mixel + every Max + a spare)... but I might have to finally bow out next time round if 10,11,12 follow this model of not seeming to care so much for strong color use. :( Of this years Mixels, I'm digging those dentist guys the most - *great* color use & really creative constructions. Still waiting for some kind of "Plant/Forest" tribe (greens+browns+lots of foliage piece use)... & some kind of "Sweet/Candy" (marshmallow pastels like pink & yellow) tribe. FIngers crossed we see something like those someday! :)

Great pics! The Junkyard guys look better every time I see new pics! (^-^)b I think now that I can see em clearly... the only "weak designs" are SLUSHO & GURGGLE... & I have a minor nitpick about TUNGSTER's tongue build (think it coulda used different pieces to flow better) But man... now I'm really just sad we hafta wait so long to get our hands on all of these guys! (Also, can't wait to see the MAXes...)

Ah! It's good to see them all more clearly in that new vid! Now that I've had a better look... I too actually prefer the new Frosticons to the old (never really liked the originals). These are good, solid, builds! So... only GlorpCorp are still a bit "meh" for me.. I like the middle guy... just the other too are too familiar to other characters... but they don't look *too* bad really. Nice complete reviews & great pics there "brickpreviews"! I hadn't actually looked at the Glowkies in the dark yet! Interesting. Tongue guys look more weird & awesome the more clearly I see em! Lol. Really looking forward to the lot of em tbh!

I grabbed 3 of every guy in Series 4 last week. MWEHEHE! Hafta say, I really like 'em all. And the Maxes *rock!*. It's interesting as well just how different the build techniques are in each tribe... (ie: Glowkies have really simple builds) & how the colors give them more or less of a "presence". (ie: the Orbitons look less substantial/smaller because of being broke up so much with the white (imo). They're still very cool tho. Been fiddling with some custom builds, but nothing so fantastic just yet... Hafta say tho, something I really wish Lego would bring out soon is some kind of pack with Major Nixel in it. I kind of feel like there is a "hole" in my collection without him... also, I kinda wish lego would bring out some kind of pack of just Nixels (like a polybag of 10 or 20 of 'em) cos anoher thing I'd like is some way to assemble a massive Nixel swarm (without having to spend a fortune on Mixel duplicates). I feel it's unlikley... but I can dream. Now... roll on Series 5!!! (^o^)b

All the new tribe guys look freaking amazing imo. I love that there are 2 more yellow tribes now too (cos I like nice, bright colors). Having said that - the rather duller colored "steampunk" guys look absolutely *fantastic!*... I'll be doing my usual of picking up 3 of each guy (so I have 1 of each guy + 1 of each Max + 1 of each parts for mashing up), but I might get even more of those guys, lol... just because I think an army of those led by Metalbeard (from the "Metalbeard's Duel" set) would look super cool! (they have a very similar color scheme/look) The weak links in these new sets are definitely the new "old tribe" guys... especially Glorp Corp. They just seem like "more of the same" rather than tying anything unique with the designs... that's a pity. Only the snowmobile looking Frosticon looks cool out of those guys (imo). I'm *loving* those purple guys! Food in their hands, & each design very creative! That hamster face one! I tried *again* today (February 1st) to get Series 4 in "Argos" here in the UK - & was told this time that the system won't allow them to sell until *tomorrow* (February 2nd) & they can't even over-ride it (as they do with some products) So yeah, definitely a useful heads up there for UK fans... that Argos (who would usually be my go-to guys for my early Mixel-fix) are now strictly sticking to their set release dates. Other than that... I'm now super curious about how the Maxes look for Series 5 & 6

Yellow Construction guy looks *amazing!* \(^o^')/ *That's* what the yellow is used for! Very cool! *Really* curious about the other 2 in this Tribe. The Purple guy with the 2 mouths is also extremely cool & the other purple guy there looks nifty too. Hopefully the remaining one has a unique head. As others have said, the Flurr clone (but in green...) is disappointing. I expected more (even a different head would have made it feel more unique! - it's just *too* close to Flurr!) I guess we'll see the missing ones (& the other 9 guys from the other series real soon now!) (Also, Argos in the UK *do* have Series 4 in stock - but unlike previously, they won't sell before the official release date (this Sunday) - just so UK fans know.)

Still no sign of Series 4 here in the UK... *sigh*

Yellow/Grey? Hmmm... guess we'll get that cleared up soon enough. (I realized it broke the "pattern", just still find it odd that there would be another Yellow tribe...) If the "grey" bits turned out to be just brackets/joints etc. it might still be Electroids - if so, that might indicate a sooner than expected tapering off of new themes. You're right that the 1,1,1 repeat pattern is more likely tho. I guess they could be some kind of "Sandy/Desert" theme maybe?... *arg!* really want pics! (^o^) Also, does anyone know if Series 4 have hit the UK yet? (Argos often have them on the shelf early?) - dying to get those!

Hey everyone. Big Mixel fan here. (^-^)b I can't help but wonder whether series 6 might not have more than one already released tribe... Dribbal, Gurggal, Slusho: greens - these are definitely Glorp Corp but what about Kram, Forx, Wuzzo: yellows - I doubt Lego would make *another* (purely) yellow tribe (especially now with that other Yellow/Red combo tribe)... I'm guessing these *could* be more Electroids (their names even sound quite "electric" apart from Kram... Forx - forked lightning, Wuzzo - sounds bzzzzy like electricity... hoping for more detail on what people saw soon!
