Clone 01354 Productions replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Action Figures
I found some pretty interesting info: I searched "Makuta" in the sneak-preview of the book, and on Page 107, Ekimu says "[Grinder] is under my brother Makuta's control...". Also, on the same page, Gali says to Ekimu: "You are saying that Makuta has risen too?" I'd post screenshots, but I don't want to get in trouble. Just go to the preview, type in "Makuta" in the search bar, and you'll get a bunch of results. I found some other things, but they are pretty big spoilers....just type in "Skull Slicer", and go towards the last results.... EDIT: -

Oh please tell me that black trooper isn't finalized.....the printing is so basic, and that helmet is just ugly. The guy in the middle looks pretty good though... Tell that to Makuta Teridax.... -

The new X-Wing looks absolutely stunning. I love the detail on it, and the black and orange color scheme looks great. Those pilots (one is female!) look quite impressive, and everything from the helmet to the legs looks fantastic (same goes for the crew member). But BB-8......Talk about disappointment. He looks awful. The Falcon is good.....but it looks too much like the 2011 version. I'll wait until we get 2016 leaks to decide if I want this; if Han and Finn appear in other sets, then this is a definite skip. If not......I'll still probably skip it. Those gang members tho..... -

Yeah, I didn't mean to sound rude; it was just meant to be a playful joke. I probably should've added one of these at the end: or So yeah, sorry about that. On-topic, Rey looks pretty amazing (and accurate!).....but the head-wrap is just awful. It's oversized, and the color looks too out of place. ......Yeah, there is a 0% chance of me buying that now. -

I assume that was directed to me, so I'll respond: Why would I think that at all? I love LEGO; it's my favorite hobby--but I hope you realize that they are, in fact, plastic toys made for children. It's not insulting my own hobby, it's stating a fact. -

Plastic toys. ....How? If you're curious about the sets and constantly awaiting news on them, isn't that building hype? But whatever..... -

It looks like the supposed "Echo Base" is just "door with a few control panels on hinges, and some turrets outside that waste parts." Seriously, this set has the same problem as the 2011 version: it's cramming too many scenes into one set. From what we've seen, it has the control room, the hangar, the trenches, the wampa cave, and the shield generator, and none of these sections are complete; they're just small pieces of each scene. Factor in the snowspeeders (there might be two of them!), and this set has no value outside of minifigures. (That K-3PO tho....) -

I see that we have moved from "Pictures and Rumors" to "Wishlists". I also see that no one cares about spoilers and being courteous to others anymore. But anyway, that snowtrooper looks pretty neat, but I think it's a bit too over-detailed on the torso. The helmet is so simple and plain, but the torso has too many lines and shadows..... -

This has been a pretty news-filled week: the new commercial, sets arriving, story details, book covers, Grinder's name......hopefully, a site update is on its way. -

.....I don't think it's fine. In fact, the set didn't change much from prelim to final--it's still a blocky mess covered in too many slopes. -

I really like this theory, but personally, I always thought of it as Makuta's masks couldn't contain their power, and elemental power flowed from his masks. Sort of like what happened with the MOUP, and what (might) happen with the gold-blended masks in the summer. -

Oh, so I guess it was real. In that case, Phasma looks incredible, and much more detailed that I had previously thought. The helmet mold is beautiful, and the printing is pretty nice......but I just don't get why they didn't choose the pearl-silver (like what Jango Fett uses). That's much closer to chrome than the gunmetal used on the actual figure.......Oh well. But my worst fears have been confirmed: there will be a handful of minifigures (Kylo Ren, Phasma, etc.) who will just use blank heads in order to hide their identity. -

Well, all I'm saying is that these guys are clearly zombies/skeletons who have decomposed....it would only make sense that their faces would have decomposed too. So wearing a skull on top of a skull seems pretty odd......But of course, we have no answer until the summer story starts coming out. -

Well, of course the description of the actual sets will call them masks. They want to advertise the mask-popping-off feature for playability. HOWEVER, I'm thinking that in-story, these are actually meant to represent their actual skulls. -

......How do we know that's an official Phasma? And also, I'm loving BB-8......but I think you guys are expecting too much. The odds of it rolling are very slim. Most likely, it's just a new ball-mold with some studs sticking out. -

Here in AZ, I didn't see any. HOWEVER, when I asked an employee of the LEGO Store, he informed me that they would be released next month. Which seems odd, since I thought the confirmed date was August.......I'm so confused. -

Huh, that reminds me: when should we start seeing 2016 leaks? I know not this early, but we got the first 2015 leak in July, so is it possible that we'll get a set list next month? **And I say all of this before I even have the Summer wave. I'm so greedy..... -

Eh, not too crazy about it....The helmet should be more defined, with some grooves for the mouth and eyes. This looks like some custom designer's creation, not like an official LEGO mold. -

Wait, if the book is released in December, and it's about the revenge of the Skull Spiders, does that mean that they will still have a role in the summer story? Or maybe they will even have a role in 2016...... Huh. I can't think of any right now.......This is actually a challenge right now. Also MonkeyChud, I was very cautious when clicking on the link--and I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that it wasn't a joke. -

(Actually, he also appeared in the original Sandcrawler in 2005).....But I agree with you 100%. There is no excuse for why Beru couldn't be included--I mean, she was just as important in the scene as Owen, just not directly. And really, when LEGO puts Bossk in the Slave 1, Ackbar in the A-Wing, Gunray in a Jedi Starfighter, etc., they really can't use the character's relevance to a scene in order to justify whether or not they're included in a set. Also, I think this topic is spiraling off into speculation and wish-lists............ -

I have a feeling that the Falcon will be more or less the same as the 2011 one......but I also have a feeling that all the important/rare/exclusive minifigs will be in that set. Also, using a euro-to-dollar converter, those prices are scary. -

Eh, it's still a pass. The ship does look better, but it's still pretty small. And anyway, it's the same Watto from 2011, the same Anakin from this year, and a-new-hat versions of Qui-Gon and Darth Maul. +$100 to TFA fund. -

Wow, really? I can't believe it has been that long......It feels like just yesterday that I saw the blurry, black-and-white image, when I doubted that BIONICLE would ever return, that it was some lame fake in order to trick desperate fans. And then the months of analyzing the colored display....... I miss those days.
