A moc in the making

Recommended Posts

Ok, so I usually don't name my moc's until I've fully built them and have had time to figure that out, so bare with me.

Day one of building (i'm trying for a titan):

First, i make a mess (this shot taken after I found all the colors I wanted and built it's arms)

It looks interesting. I'm waiting for end of works on that MOC and photos showing its final look. Good luck with building the body!

At first I didn't think this was going to be all that big, but that torso really filled out.

However there's a couple things you need to watch out for here,

-Your colors in the torso are very scattered and don't have anything to bring them together. I can tell you tried for some stylized positioning of the shells, but this is completely lost when there are so many colors of shells.

-Those limbs are going to need a lot of bulk to blend properly into that torso. However some of those construction techniques are going to make that quite a chore to do; For example, the space right where the "rocka head-shoulderpads" are on his front arms does not offer many easy ways to add bulk.

Also I'm not crazy about the back legs in general; The use of those feet pieces seems far less stylized than the front, and I think something custom might compliment it more.

With that said I do like the non-bipedal design, and the swords coming off of his arms is a nice touch. I'm interested in seeing what head design you come up with for this.
