Ferrik Posted June 7, 2012 Small but great-value set. Nice review.
Algernon Posted June 7, 2012 I would probably only pick up this set to add the Helm's Deep model, if I ever have enough money for them both. It looks great though, I'm loving the construction on ALL the LotR sets, they're really aiming for an older audience with these. Great stuff.
SheepEater Posted June 7, 2012 Picked that set yesterday at Walmart. they're really aiming for an older audience with these. Great stuff. I think they nailed a good balance between satisfying the adult LOTR/Lego geeks like us by incorporating lots of details, and satistying the kids with the "cute" little play features found in all of the sets. Falconer Posted June 7, 2012 Having Eomer in the set also speaks against army building (although I preferred it this way). The Eomer fig can surely be used for Theodred, Grimbold, Dunhere, Elfhelm, Erkenbrand, and Dernhelm!
