The Mugbearer Posted September 26, 2011 Thetime is passing by, I've started to study in lyceum, and meanwhile my MOCs are slowly transform from 'just models' to 'revamps', by changing structure, colour scheme and equipment. My last revamp was Tavm, the Weaponsmith. Now the same changes happened with Lewa Nitro. I've started new model with torso - I planned to make it basing on Takanuva's - with moveable waist. Macro. When body has been completed, I've started to create the legs. macro. Then I has made arms. One of forearms' main features were folding blades. It was very hard to make shoulders similar to Takanuva's, so as the result I had something like this: And I've liked it so much that I made some improvements for Takanuva: Here's how Lewa looks from behind: Also, I made for LN a fly-pack with wings: They are made in Furno XL's style, so they are folding quite well: And a bonus - Guest Starring with Half-Dark Takanuva: That's all folks, C&C's are welcome anytime. Darkness Falls Posted September 27, 2011 Your building style is absolutely fantastic- I love how you use complex intricacies then layer simplistic armor over it. Over all, there's no much to criticize- the piece clearly has a lot of work put into it, because it certainly shows. Fantastic use of small pieces layered atop one another for the altering of proportions. The only thing I would point out is that the thighs seem a little too short in comparison with the rest of his limbs. Otherwise, great work! A very cohesive piece. Starparu Posted October 13, 2011 They are sweet. Especially Takanuva. Man, that is the best Idea for a staff of light I have seen lately. Never thought of using a Bordahk (sp ?) staff before. -Star
ZORK64 Posted October 14, 2011 Thats one fine Lewa, -N13OS-. I dig really dig the leg design and the arms, but overall, this guy looks pretty sweet. Same goes for Takanuva as well.
