Broadcast some days ago on the french TV news, I present you this interesting but quick report about the technic used by the conceptors of the assembly line for the A380. The last aircraft of Airbus company is the most imponent plane ever built, and for his mass-production, new and great building sites had to be constructed and in order to project themselves into the universe of the factory and the space of the machines, the designers worked on a 1/50 model of the assembly line, that is to say on the minifig scale. But this is not a game or an accessory ; the model was useful for the distribution of the surface and for the spacial projection.

The subject is quite surprising for this TV show that has one the worst quality, but that is the most popular for this market. And of course, the model is beautyful, the tallest I have ever seen, and also very nice with the quantity of engines that makes it amazingly realistic and serious. I hope you feel the same surprise than mine
