Could I still enter for a couple of buildings? :cry_happy:

- Tortury room

- Kitchen

- Fighers Guild

Tnx!

No probs, I have put you down for those builds, and you are in Team Alpha. Please read through the first post and put pics in Alpha thread please. You may put one pic in this thread too. If you can make a thumbnail, even better.

Cheers.

Once again, I cannot begin to express the amount of fun and enjoyment I personally have recieved from the EBCCB, and its all thanks to great community members like you guys and the Moderators that have made it possible

We are up to 30 Modules so far, which is outstanding. With some upcoming projects from Adam, Stash2sixx and myself we will keep the ball rolling nicely. Who knows maybe Draggy will finally build his gatehouse

Here are some members who haven't had a chance to dazzle the rest of us.

Pickerel

Wouwie

Legoking

Pedro

Jimbutcher

Dan Church

Adam

Quarryman

Captain Green Hair

randomparrot

Skipper24

Buttons

Genaral armendariz

Arawos

3d Brickthing

CastleLord

A quick search reveals all these members aren't banned, so fell free to submit anytime, we can't wait to see what ideas you have.

All thumbnails working except waiting on a link for Josh's Brothel

Cheers

I've already made a Jeweller and a Wizard's house haven't I?

On a different note, I've noticed that some of the modules use large 1/3 brick high plates instead of baseplates. I presume this'll be fixed when all the modules are assembled, because the plates and baseplates are different heights aren't they?

Also, are there any plans to showcase the castle to the public once it's finished?

True, my apologies, good to see you are paying attention

I would like to think it may happen one day, but Photoshop is probably our only option, cause im not sending my Lego anywhere

Still we will get Hinckley working on building it all one day

Unfortunately, I've reached a point where in order to build more modules I have to take apart some of my existing ones. Since it might be a while before we enslave Hinckley to build all the modules, I figured I would take the opportunity to make a little scene with Stol, Lalande, and my modules. I didn't both landscaping or anything since it was just a quick thing I wanted to do before taking them apart, but here is what I came up with:

The whole scene:

all1.jpg

A witch is being burned at the stake! (which is odd, since there's Baba Yaga's hut and a Wizard's Guild so close by:

stake2.jpg

The King is on his way to see the burning:

king1.jpg

The Troll Ambassador is coming out to see what all the Commotion is about:

trolls2.jpg

There are guards posted all over the rooftops, but the local thieves guild is up to no good:

assassin.jpg

Hope you guys enjoyed that! It really is amazing to see so many modules lined up next to eachother. The whole row stretches about the length of my dining room table, which has to be at least 7 or 8 feet.

When we can get all the modules from the entire EBCCB together, it's going to be incredible

Now it's time to go rip apart my modules and build some new ones!

Looking very good so far, ISC and darkagent! I really like that brothel. I also like that cool scene you've put together, Trash!

Hopefully I'll get started on the Servant's Quarters and Wine Cellar over the Holiday Break. :classic:

Hey Thrash, the modules combined look very cool. I also took a picture of my modules all linked up. I even made a Minotaur to guard my Tax Collector (a nod to you). :classic: I think I have enough bricks to make another module. Maybe I'll try the Chapel.

ISC - After my original post, I was assigned to Team Alpha. Then when I posted my picks, it looks like I was moved over to Beta. Should I post my new picks in Beta, or continue in Alpha?

Thanks

Thanks for joining up all the modules Thrash and darkagent, just imagine if we had a gatehouse or corner module to go with those! or even Sandy's Wizard tower :oh:

Thanks! It'll be great to see what you can do with the Servant's Quarters and Wine Cellar...we haven't had many modules from the keep done yet!

Glad you like them. Yours look really cool combined too. I like the idea of a minotaur to guard the tax collector! Also, I love that centaur that you've made. Can you post some closer shots of the centaur so I can see how it's done?

I'm sure you'll do a fantastic job with the Chapel. I think Stol is going to take a stab at the chapel/monastary this weekend too, so that should provide some good competition!

No problem...it was a lot of fun to set up that little scene with all my castle minifigs since I had hardly gotten to use most of them yet. A bigger module would look awesome with them, but I doubt I would have enough bricks to build a corner module and have a bunch of other ones put together still...unless Santa is REALLY good to me this Christmas.

I have some really cool ideas for modules that I want to make and I'm done the semester, so expect a lot of modules from me during the next few weeks!

Sounds good. I'm excited to see what it looks like to have a big module next to one of the small ones! :classic:

For your thumbnail, you still need to tell us the link to the folder with your pictures.

Speaking of thumbnails, here's the code for CastleStrike666s Fighter's Guild, ISC:

Quick question about the build - now that Thrash and others seem to be taking apart their modules, how are we going to accurately rebuild them? To you think it would be a good idea to take some instruction pictures, or would the pictures that we've already got be good enough to remake the module to a similar design?

Unless a particular module has complicated building techniques that couldn't be replicated from the original pictures, then no instructions should be necessary. Plus, the remakes don't have to be exact piece by piece replications as long as they look almost the same.

Lalande, I simply adore your moving theater! I've done my share of acting in the past, so your creation is close to my heart.

You are correct that in the original Shakespearean theater, all actors were men (although the younger "pretty boys" played the female roles, rather than brutes with stubble beard like in your creation  ). I also like that you portrayed the Nativity in the play, since it's Christmas and all!

Splendid work!

Thanks Sandy - I just couldn't resist using the guy with the stubble

I must say that I love your princess chamber and library and I was very sad to hear that you are going to have to take them apart since they look so great. I wish we could put everything together and see it. :sweet:

I especially liked your use of archways in the library and the crests on the wall. I think arches are architecturally the most beautiful part of any building.

Have a very Merry Christmas!!!

Hi all!

I just finished my Fighters Guild, and the torture Room (but this one seemed to big.. ).

I've just seen that there are still a few houses that doesn't have a builder yet, so I'm interested in making the tannery (nr. 26), and nr. 55 "Entrance Hall with Great Staircase". But this last one has to fit onto the Courtyard, made by Erdbeereis, I suppose?

Kind Regards

Kenny.

Alright, I've finished the courtyard or garden (whatever it is  )!

I haven't made a thumbnail yet, because I wasn't sure whether Thrash was doing that for all of the modules or just his. I dont's think I have the correct font in my photo editing program though... Let me know how to proceed! :classic:

I didn't end up adding much to the WIP picture I posted a while back, but I did add minifigs and a few more flowers. I may still make some sort of a hedge maze if everyone wants me to. Enjoy!

Stol and I were hard at work all day getting our Church built. Stol had most of the ideas, I just helped him translate those idea into a polished looking building. I also did a custom decal for him for the Templars. He said that he wants to post the pictures since it was mainly his idea, so they'll be up later. In the mean time, here's a teaser picture:

There have been a lot of new modules coming in recently ISC, so here is lots of updated thumbnail code:

My new thumbnail code:

To add to Lalande's:

To add to Erdbeereis':

I think that's all of the new ones! I don't have time now, but later tonight or tomorrow I'll try to update the code for the list of modules to reflect all of the new modules that have come in if you haven't done it already. :classic:

I just finished my Fighters Guild, and the torture Room (but this one seemed to big.. ).

I did the Tanner yesterday, but you're welcome to do one too!

That's a good idea to make sure that the Entrance hall fits with the courtyard.

I haven't made a thumbnail yet, because I wasn't sure whether Thrash was doing that for all of the modules or just his. I dont's think I have the correct font in my photo editing program though... Let me know how to proceed! :classic:

I've just been doing them all to keep all of the thumbnails in the same style. I've got no problem doing it. As you can see above, I've already done the thumbnail for your Courtyard. If anyone ever dislikes the placement of the lettering or the colors, just let me know and I'll fix it!

Yes, Erdie, the courtyard is very good. However, I still think that you should add a hedge maze, which would really fill up that excess space. Maybe just a little one, though, so it's not too crowded, perhaps in a corner. :classic:

On another note, is it absolutely necesarry to have a wall? Unfortunately, I don't have enough of the right grey/ dark grey pieces to make the walls of my additions... :sceptic:

Thanks for taking care of all of the thumbnails Thrash! :classic:

Is the courtyard satisfactory?

No problem! The courtyard is perfect...everything with it came together really nicely.

On another note, is it absolutely necesarry to have a wall? Unfortunately, I don't have enough of the right grey/ dark grey pieces to make the walls of my additions... :sceptic:

Assuming you mean the back wall that's on every module, no, it's not really necessary. Just make sure that you leave room so that a wall piece could be added. :classic:

Codes all updated :sweet:

Thanks again Thrash

Erdbeeries1 your courtyard is just amazing, well done.

Jim, As Thrash said, The wall isn't required if you cant make it, unfortunately mine needs the wall as it integral to the whole structure. The smaller modules are ok without it (though we all know it would look sweet to have the wall as well  )

And to all, thank you for making this such a cool experience.

Now, I must say I didn't want to post pics of my Barracks, however due to all the good work going on around here, I felt compelled to.

I will edit the pics into this post shortly.
