Angle elements losing clutch?

Recommended Posts

Yesterday i was working with the 157,5 degrees angle elements trying to build a tree. I had to realize one of them was broken and several had lost their clutch. They are about 6 years old (I bought a dozen back when the last pirates wave was released). The thing is, I haven't really been using them a lot!

Anybody else having the same problem?

What exact elements? What color? What else? A photo certainly might help. Perhaps it's just a bad production batch, perhaps something else...

From the precise angle, I think they mean the technic angled connectors, although I've never had a problem with them.

My guess would be the toothed hinges like 47975. Those have the same angles as the Technic angled connectors (which are rigid), but can wear out in use if they are rotated a lot.
