I can only provide an alternative, but from experience, Mecabricks can be used on a tablet (within chrome web browser) , though I'd recommend an external keyboard and mouse, as otherwise it is extremely hard to do even the basic operations (it is possible, but spending several minutes to place a single part isn't exactly comfortable). 

Please note that I tested it on an Android tablet, have no idea whether Apple has any restrictions put in place for stuff like this.

I think non of the current tools works really well on tablets. Mecabricks (being Browser based) might be your best shot.
