keineahnungbonzo Posted February 2, 2021 (edited) Star Trek: Prelude to Axanar is an awesome piece of fan fiction. You can see and feel the love and effort, they put into this. Besides that, the starship design is stellar. So, this is my take on the USS Ares, NCC-1650. This is like a Defiant of pre-TOS era, for sure a tough little ship "The Ares class was a Federation Starfleet battle cruiser that first saw service during the Four Years War. It was the first purpose-built combat vessel constructed by the Federation since the Earth-Romulan War."
