LM71Blackbird Posted February 14, 2018 Brig "Swift" small ship 1 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr After the ordeal that Captain Nathaniel Brickford endured aboard the Troop Carrier "Eagle", Nathaniel wrote to his parents back on the Corrington mainland when he arrived in King's Harbour safely. While his father, Richard Brickford, was reading his son's letter, he had the most wonderful idea, he would travel to King's Harbour! Already a wealthy man who amassed a fortune raising corn in Northern Corrington, he had nothing to lose. So he boarded one of his many ships and first sailed to Mesabi Landing to collect his most trusted manager, Ralph Clutchington. small ship 3 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr "Mr. Brickford, why must we travel to King's Harbour?" asked Ralph. "To see about starting a new and profitable endeavor in the Islands" replied Mr. Brickford. "But, sir, you already have a profitable business in your corn farming and metal refining." "Ralph, don't you understand the meaning of the word 'new'?" "Yes sir, I do." "Good, then quit are asking me about King's Harbour and lets just enjoy the calm of the ocean." small ship 2 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr After a rather un-eventful journey the duo arrived in King's Harbour. To be Continued... small ship 4 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr (OOC) So this is my newest ship MOC. I am quite proud of how the hull turned out and it was pretty fun to build! It's got 14 cannons, 12 in the hull and 2 bow chasers. I was originally building it for @Bregir's sloops for the royal navy incentive, but I think I like it too much to part with it! C&C are welcome and appreciated and thanks for viewing! Nope, it's a flex tube with 1x1 plates with vertical clip and then round 1x1 gold tiles on them. I thought it gave the bowsprit a cool look!
