I actually thought there would be more entries by now. I work full time and have a family of six and I managed to make two builds, even though I could only enter one. I say leave the deadline as is.

I'm working on entering an Alternate I did for Creator Set 7347, I'm not entirely sure if it qualify's.

And don't know how many hours are left till deadline? (Photo's are being uploaded right now.)

If it doesn't or I'm to late that doesn't matter because I wanted to show/share it anyway.

Why are you only considering the extremes (Monday or Friday)? No one ever talked about Monday. As I said myself,

"Both parties" meaning

• the contestants on one hand who could use the Saturday for the final touches and the photography,
  
• the competition leader (you) on the other hand, who could use the Sunday to set up the voting topic.
  

I agree that Monday is a bad idea. I also agree that Sunday is not optimal. That's why I suggested Saturday.

You know how people "manage" deadlines, right? Most people "manage" to do most of the stuff right in time, but rarely sooner ;)

Deadline on Saturday is pretty subjective, so let's be clear about what a deadline is first.

By deadline Monday I meant you will have the entire Sunday and I will close it Monday morning.

So if you want to build the entire Saturday, the deadline will be Sunday morning.

I figured; since you all like building in the weekend, why not extend it to Monday, instead of Sunday.

I do know all about finishing just in time before deadlines

As Dapper-D2 said, there was two month of time. I build almost three versions of mine MT entry along with this project:

And i have family too, i dont have even place to build, everytime i have to bring all the bricks to the kitchen table and after iam done must put them back.
