Gotcha, I am just not sure why those kola and cat headgears that are just leaked very recently. Like Spider-verse series is still coming to the shelves this September or the next regular sereis seizes that spot.

I have no interest in Spider-verse CMF series at all. I’m already looking forward for a regular CMF series. While waiting for it, I gotta say something…. I do wish Lego could produce a Sesame Street CMF series! Or Muppet!

Boooo! First the F1 cars and now this. I mean, animal costumes are fine and many people like them, but why dedicate a full series?

That is the worst outcome, if we are lucky it's a normal series where every fig has at least one animal mould if so that sounds like the best CMF ever to me, time will show

Other non-space fans said “Boo” when we had Space series last year…. I just think it’s cool that there is another speical theme just like Space, Party, Halloween and Costume themed ones. :). I am ignoring F1 one….

Not that excited about this news, but I will judge the series once we get more infos about it and especially when we get pics. Hope we get more animals to the costumes.

I am happy we are getting an animal costume themed CMF!!!

However, I am surprised that it came ahead of a Castle themed one!

What other possible themes could Lego explore? Pirates?

But I really hope Series 29 will come next May and will be a regular one

I'm expecting Series 29 to omit costume figures to make up for it unless it's something more unique like another vehicle costume figure

When we have made that assumption in the past - we have been wrong ;) 

In any event, they can do non-animal costumes, which leaves things like all the food costumes …

I can definitely see future CMFs giving us variations for both the Griffin & Kraken factions!

Now that you said. Falconer came with falcon, then Breastmaster came with wolf. I would be surprised to see two new knight factions with mythical creatures (even tho it won’t happen becuase of size).

For me an animal costume series is kind of fun so I dont mind that one, but I feel you about the other two: Spiderverse and F1 are such a waste for a CMF slot
