Hello!

After I finished my Baureihe 56.2 a while ago, I haven't been sitting still. I recently finished a few more freight wagons.

These being a hopper of the type "FCS", and a "mystery" 4-Axle tanker. The tanker is based off of a few H0 models I came across, but none of the companies making it state an exact type...

For the tanker, I really have to thank 'Thomas / TS__' for his central disk design, I wouldn't have been able to make this design work this well if it wasn't for his help! The Hopper was also a bit of a struggle to get the original shape right, but I'm really happy how it turned out, with almost all the angles matching the blueprint.

I also included a new "variant" of my G10, being a recolour in brown and without the brakemans cab, as well as another stakecar with a different load, this time it's a transformator. Perhaps some cable reels to be made in the future?

Those hoppers !!! 🤩🤗👌 Really inspiring design 👏

Thankss!! Honestly the hoppers are my favourite out of all the wagons I've made so far at this point! Haha

Those are some really nice freight wagons. I particularly like the transformer in the open gondola car and all the details on the boxcar next to it.

Thank you! The stakecar is definitely one of my favourites as well (though not as much as the Hopper, because it's annoyingly fragile at times, haha).

Only downside is coming up with loads that are varied enough to justify having a whole fleet of these wagons 🫣

The boxcar is actually one of the few 99% purist designs I've got (the rest all have illegal/hacky techniques, or rely or a 3rd party parts like metal axles to prevent bending). The 1% being custom wheels, so perhaps I'll make instructions for it one day

Simply finding varied loads is the easy part, finding varied loads that make sense together is the hard part. Something that makes sense like a caravan, like a circus. Or maybe in the case of your transformer, you could do parts for a new power station or an industrial building.

Great looking wagons again. The hopper really looks nice, but so does the open freight wagon. Electric poles and cable spools would be good additions for it.

True! My previous loads were just wooden planks, they fit in any generic train. I'll likely make some cable reels next to go with the transformer in the future!

Wow these freight wagons are outstanding! :pir-stareyes:

I can't choose which is the most beautiful, between the hoppers and the transformator holder :wub_drool:

The level of detail is insane for all four! :steve:

Thankss!

Thank you! Cable reels will likely indeed be the next load for the future, though for now I've got enough freight wagons, with 13 total, though who knows, 16 is a nicer number in the end, no?

Great collection of freight wagons. The hopper cars are spot on. The tanker car reminds me of some of the VTG branded ones I saw in the NRW.

Thank you! The tanker was branded VTG as well for all the H0 models, perhaps I'll get some stickers in the future if I ever make more of them, to give them their branding as well!

Is the ladder on the 4-axle tank car a custom piece?

I can't tell.

It's actually 2 of part 7307, attached via part 3628 with the long part cut off, for the hopper I actually cut off a part of 7307 to turn it from a 4L to a 3L 🫣

Strong work! Three very nice wagons, the level of detail is impressive indeed.

Coming from a region that generated power at the time I often saw transformers on wagons and truck trailers so that really took me back.
