[MOC] Barton-Wright 0-4-4T

This tank engine MOC is loosely based on the Class 111 designed by Barton-Wright in the 1870s. It's powered by a 9V motor in the trailing bogie with a working headlamp. I went through several design iterations before finally settling on a balance of sturdiness and detail that I was happy with.

The locomotive in action going around a curve. The lamp code is for a branch line freight train, but don't report me to the Fat Controller!

The bunker has substantial overhang on curves, but it clears all the scenery on my layout!

Nice small tank engine. Good amount of details between the locomotive and the carriages. I do like the crossing gates.

Nicely done and that 9v motor is well hidden. Indeed a good mix between a solid model and details. Always a trade off between loads of details but fragile and a more balanced build.
