AxolotlPlays Posted May 16 Author Posted May 16 Well i finally bought and built the jeep, its pretty damn cool looking🤣 the colour difference in the stickers isnt as bad as i thought it was going to be, though still, would've been nicer if they were all printed. And the east dock side build is a nice addition! Also, i bought it from a lego store here, and i finally decided to register a proper lego account and scan my sets in for points etc (mainly cause the possibility of a GWP), but it turns out the have a completely different system to the actual lego company, they are franchised, so theres that🤣 Quote

AxolotlPlays Posted June 7 Author Posted June 7 The Triceratops Fossil is awesome and looks beautiful! Though a couple building techniques surprised me. For one, the actual base of sand/rock/water/basic lilypads are actually two halves of identical builds🤣 and also the triceratops isnt actually fully connected like the t rex one is, the legs and i guess chest plate/shoulder blades are connected to the black stands rather than the skeleton funnily enough, its hidden very well! I sent a message to their CS a few weeks ago when I built the Jeep asking if my set had bad stickers as the promo images of the set on their site had stickers that were closer to the brick colour, they said they would look into it and the sheet arrived a few days ago. Lion King Posted July 16 Posted July 16 I wonder what 2027 will bring us as there is a report taht a new movie (tentatively titled Jurassic World Liberation) and Universal Pictures is eyeing for the summer 2028 release. If it’s true, I wonder if we might be getting the Lost World sets for 30th anniveary? Personally, I would love to see Para, baby Stego, Corphy, and Cechy. I’m little tired of seeing raptors and T-Rex, honeslty. The Jurassic Park 30th anniveary wave has one new dinosaur - Brachi - and I’m hoping for new Dino speices! Quote

I can totally understand the annoyance of seeing them pop up all the time, but they're the most iconic creatures from the IP and the only sets on the market with them included will likely be retired when 2027 rolls around, so maybe a relatively cheap set with a new raptor could be a fine set as long as it's not a 4+ set. As far as other sets go, there's always another brick built baby dino to add to the collection. (And a new Cerato would be a fine opportunity for a new mid-sized body mould) Quote
