Like I said, the naming of the set follows the three other baby brick built dinosaurs: Little Eatie: T. Rex Baby Dinosaur Dolores: Aquilops Baby Bumpy: Ankylosaurus and now we're set to have "Baby Dinosaur: Pteranodon" They all follow the pattern of Name Colon Species. I honestly do not see why this upcoming one wouldn't be the same Quote
AxolotlPlays Posted February 28 Author Posted February 28 77984 (18+) Buildable Dinosaur Skeleton 1924 Pieces - $200 - August Release Most likely a Triceratops, thanks to Unibricks! Thats cool and i think most of us expected that lol, but how does a GWP involve itself here? Unless they do like a small 1993 Montana digsite build? That'd be awesome!😁 Quote

That could be awesome! It would also explain the lower piece count compared to the T-rex set, but I guess time will tell ey! Wouldnt it be funny if that is the case, a nice looking Raptor fossil, then the GWP is a JP3 25TH Anniversary Resonating Chamber fossil🤣🤣 (And yes, it isnt real lol) Quote
Lion King Posted March 3 Posted March 3 I….doubt “1924” piece count as a reference to the year when velocriatpor’s disovery was made. It’s just a fan’s fun predicition and I won’t look into it. Quote

The Mona Lisa (31213) has 1,503 pieces, and 1503 is when the painting was started. There's some more with the piece count being an easter egg, and then we all know there's a tonne of easter eggs in so many sets that reference something that would easily go past someones head. Not saying I necessarily believe, or agree that it'll be a raptor because of that; it's not entirely outside the realm of possibility tho Quote

There is no set numbered 20139. Velociraptor? it could be it, it could be something else. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted March 10 Posted March 10 The 🐐 strikes again! The smaller D2C set is said to be a Triceratops skeleton and the larger one a JP jeep! Quote
icm Posted March 10 Posted March 10 So that's the Ford Model T, the Jaguar E Type, and the Jurassic Park Jeep for the three Icons-type cars this year, plus the Luigi kart. 2026 is proving to be absolutely stacked with must-have releases. Unfortunately, 2026 is also the year that I've become totally unable to keep up :/ Quote

Haha, 100% im very curious about these! For one, the Triceratops will be a third of the size of the T-rex, which my shelf is absolutely thankful haha🤣 Bit of a bummer to get a Jeep over a diorama, but its still pretty cool at least! I wonder what the GWP is, does it have to relate to the Jeep? Perhaps we might get a minifig of a JP driver in their pink shirt, or even Jerry Harding if we're lucky!🤞 Also, Brickmerge has added all 4 of the regular wave onto their listings, along with the 2 18+ sets, and GWP. With these they actually revealed the piece counts and also that they will be released in August apparently. Pteranodon set: 373 Pieces T-rex set: 115 Pieces Spinosaurus set: 820 Pieces Mosasaurus set: 703 Pieces Quote
Dinobricks Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I was really hoping for a mini figure scale 18+ set like a visitor centre, but they're still cool. Quote
Supervir2 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 (edited) Ever since they started doing D2C with JP back with the T-rex Rampage (back in 2019!) I’ve dreamt of creator expert/icons JP vehicles. The Explorer has always been my #1 wish, but the Jeep being made more than satisfies me and definitely gives me hope the Explorer will come in due time. Edited March 11 by Supervir2 Quote
Lion King Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Ohhhh the Jeep set! I’m a Jeep guy so it’s a jackpot for me. And i was right about lack of velricraptor sketleon - “1924” really means Beijing. Quote
Dinobricks Posted March 13 Posted March 13 The jeep was just revealed on Legos Instagram, and you can also see the triceratops set briefly in the background. I imagine we'll also be seeing other set reveals soon as well. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Huh, I thought they‘d go for the more iconic lime green car, but this looks cool too ^^ Quote
AxolotlPlays Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 So glad to finally have a set revealed!!🥳🥳 And also the Trike teased as well lol! The Jeep looks really cool! Glad that rain cover part is optional so we can have both iconic looks! Also I was wrong about getting a pink shirt Jeep driver, BUT looks like we got another raincoat Nedry which is atill very welcome lol! Better to have a figure than to not! Perhaps if they do the Ford Explorer next they can sneak in Donald Gennaro? Also, TLG worked really well on the whole setting and design of this promo video, I really enjoyed it! Quote
Black Falcon Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Looks really good. If I would have more space, I would be on the edge to get it, but Cars are not really my thing so I´ll wait for a D2C Visitor Center (Hopefully next year...). 2 hours ago, AxolotlPlays said: Also I was wrong about getting a pink shirt Jeep driver, BUT looks like we got another raincoat Nedry which is atill very welcome lol! Sure it is likely, but wouldn´t be the first time we don´t get what we were expecting. Quote

But well. not complaining to see him included. Quote
Shiva Posted March 13 Posted March 13 That is the actor Wayne Knight, right? or do I see wrong? https://www.instagram.com/lego/reel/DV00o80leYy/ Quote

Yeah, but he wasn´t in the video either, where you would think if he built the set he would be totally exited to get a figure of himself. But well, maybe Lego wanted to keep it a surprise then, until it is officially presented. As for the GWP, the question probably is, if it is something related to the Set or just the franchise. A Dilophosaurus is probably the likeliest choice, though I could also imagine if they inclunde the molded one and some plant parts to add it to the Nedry Figure. Quote
cmjones3 Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Do we know how many pieces are in the GWP? I would assume it would be a Barbasol can but that might end up being its own set later on. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted March 14 Posted March 14 We also don‘t know yet if the GWP will be attached to one of the 18+ sets, or be offered with a certain threshold of regular set purchases. My guess would be the former, but we‘ll see ^^ Quote
