I think TLG will just use reddish brown for the parts (e.g. log liftarm in the Harvester), because a new metallic color would blow their budget, so the car will look like a brown turd with lots of blue and yellow pins and axles sticking out.

Disclaimer: Picture below is gendered by Gemini Nano Banana AI tool. It is not a picture of real set, just an impression of the product based on the specific prompt. The idea of the picture is to get the common sense if 1:8 scale hyper car in reddish brown colour would look like a brown turd04qbVdL.png

They wouldn't do a brown supercar, right? Could they? There's no way.

Would be fitting for this years line-up actually.

Well, if it's a big brown supercar. Maybe jurassic park fans are flocking to the lego store to buy it for the meme. So this might be a really successfull color idea for all the wrong reasons;).

Sorry if this is again little bit off topic;).

I'm actually holding my breath for brown parts :) They could be cool for building old-school stuff.

The only "brown" 1:8 hypercar anyone should buy is the Maserati Gran Turismo. That one is done properly in a really nice metallic brown copper and fully motorized too.

But they didn’t match the soft axle colour to the metallic colour of the car… and it still looks like a turd when you compare it to the nicer blue version they made of the same model.

Maybe Lego could pull off a reddish brown colour and make it look good, but I still don’t think it would be the best or most popular looking colour.
