I hope they bring back the old wheel arches for 2026. I miss them.

I'm tired of the new wheels, good on trucks and larger vehicles, not for cars or small vans

I would love it if one of the trains was an Australian Outback train - a bit like the Ghan or Indian Pacific with some kangaroos.

I've got my fingers crossed for either a CITY scale Flying Scotsman or one of that Smokey Joe model Hornby releases all the time

One question : why city?

The idea sounds neat, but the gig might not perform well for the target demographic. Said thing might just return to its roots, that being Icons.

If its modern: City it is! I

Old and Classic: Icons or Ideas

If it's city we're talking about, I'd like the idea of a Jungle Explorer Train, with more rugged scenery and tougher vehicles.

I was thinking CITY so that kids could have a steam engine that they could combine with other trains like their passenger and cargo ones without needing to mod it, I'm basically taking notes from the 2023 Hogwarts Express for that idea

Hope this truck it's a 4206 remake this time.

It’s meant to be a 7+, I am hoping it’s like 42167 but translated into City scale

In recent years, we have seen minifigures with dyed hair and tattoos. I assume they are okay for children?  If so, i wonder if we would see facial or body piercings…

I don't see the problem 🤷

In winter times I often go to the sauna/wellness in the Netherlands and Germany....naked. Men,women, and parents with their children are all naked. Some have piercings and or tattoos.  It's just natural like the natives in the Amazon rainforest.  Children are not shocked by nude tits and genitals . It's actually conservative people  who make a problem of it.

There was an American YouTube reviewer who complained about the minifigures prize machine because there is a Paradisa guy wearing a speedo. :ugh:

Agreed.  I feel American society is just full of nonsense.  Minifigures with tattoos and dyed hairs are okay for children, then Lego should include body or face piercings.  As an American here, I don’t see anything wrong with tattoos, piercings and dyed hairs at all.

I think that Paradisa guy with speedo is  supposed to be interpetpered as a gay man? If so, fantastic. :)

I wear a speedo  for lap swimming once a week and I am straight.

Speedos are normal in west Europe. It's not even a gay thing.

Next month I will become 46 but I have the body of a 20 year old.

I have the confidence and the body to wear it. A lot of women love that over here.

If tou take care of your body , your body will take care of you when you go old.

Understood and I’m a gay man here.  I think men  - straight or gay - csn short shorts / swim trunks like that speedos. But i think, in America, it is probably easy to interpret that Paradisa guy as “gay” because of speedo and white tank top.  Yet no rainbow colors  Also, I read some comments here from American AFOLs that that Paradisa guy is supposed to be gay recently.

I guess wearing short shorts doesn’t deafine man’s sexuality. - both in real life and in Lego world.

I saw that. I think a side-loader would be good for City. In fact, I think a Sanitation subtheme for City as a whole would be good. 😉

That's a good idea! I don't think we've gotten any recycling/ sanitation-themed buildings, no?

The closest we've ever gotten were a few nods to park-based trash bins. We got a junkyard, which could easily be rebuilt into a recycling center. But......as far as an official sanitation engineer's base, we have not gotten one. So I'd be down for one of those.

Well, you can't compare US with west European countries. It's far more liberal over here. As a kid who grew up with Lego Paradisa, I never saw it as gay. But what you wear should not define what or who you are. I don't care if people think I am gay because I wear speedos. And I don't have problems if people are gay. That's none of my business. It's always the conservatives who talk about 'freedom' that have problems with everything and everyone.
