I would love a repeat of the Futuron or Unitron monorails for the 21st century. If that doesn't happen some retro sci-fi (Atomic or Jet powered lunar trains, perhaps?) would also work. Powered by Bricks Posted August 14 Posted August 14 (edited) Train Police Confirmed for 2026!? I think it’ll be a similar concept to 60198 but with actual police vehicles. I’m curious to see the new twists given to trains. If anything I would see a Jungle Train, or animal rescue train. How about Passenger Trains? Any twist ideas? Now about the Smart Brick, where do I find the info saying it’ll be featured in the train? Possible sign the Jungle Sets end up appearing in shelves for March, according to a rumor on BrickTap Edited August 14 by Powered by Bricks Quote

Trains is certainly get a reboot. We could see; A Heavy Haulage Train A Fire Train A Garabage Train A Construction Train A Ambulance Train A Soapbox Train Quote

I'm down with the Diesel 10 reference for a crook's locomotive. Loved me some Thomas when I was a child. It would probably be either red or some weird color since that seems to be the trend for City crook getaway vehicles. Edited August 14 by Driver Brandon Grumman Quote

A tank engine would also be fun to get since it could not only introduce new wheels, but it would also allow more of the budget to be put into rolling stock or buildings Quote
Powered by Bricks Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Taking a more serious stand on the topic of trains for the new City, I doubt we'll get steam trains in this theme, they're selling well but for the Older Age Range. We've got quite a few in the bricklink desiger program sets and Ideas aswell. Considering the ideas that are coming from New Gen City, we might get... -No Limits Stunt Train(like the Trains Used in The RedBull Videos) -More Exploration Trains I doubt we'll see any other kinds of trains as these are understandable twists to cargo trains. Ambulance Train or Fire Trains Might not be the greatest ideas for quite a Pricey set. Keep in Mind The Tower Set featured a lot of crazy ideas, but isn't selling well considering it's price. These must be Parent-Wallet-Friendly and follow catchy ideas for kids. Quote

Personally I’d love to see such theme giving remakes of older train sets such as the metroliner Quote

Personally I’d love to see such theme giving remakes of older train sets such as the metroliner An excellent idea - would love more train options. We don't need a huge train set every time with one front engine and two carriages. I wish Lego was more like Hornby in selling individual sets (so you could buy as many carriages as you liked to extend the trains without repeating the front). Plus, adding more variety of track, bridges, signal boxes, smaller rural stations and scenery (e.g. fields with sheep, cows). Lots of varieties of train from steam engines to Wild West and modern Amtrak (I'd love the California Zephyr having taken my parents on a trip there a couple of years ago). Quote
danimarroquin Posted August 20 Posted August 20 I’m a little concern with the price of the airport , it might be just a small set with a crappy airport and small airplane which I don’t mind . I was really hoping for iconic city airport that will match the current passenger plane ! Quote

Currently the Big Passenger Plane Is still planned to stay in 2026, and might get it's retirement date pushed to later. In Post-2022 City we now know anything is not exclusive to a big set anymore, and there's more standalone sets for additional vehicles. It wouldn't make sense to release another big plane when they can market 60367 as a fine add-on to this airport. The airport might have a 6 stud wide plane with all these new parts we've seen recently. My theory is LEGO doing a uno reverse to the 2010 airport lineup: having the smaller plane in the airport and sell the big plane separately. Besides LEGO already tried selling us a really small Airport and Huge Plane and it didn't sell that well. Quote

For sure the big plane for 2027 would be the Cargo plane, and I'm thinking this airport might be an artic airport maybe ....... hopefully not. Quote

What makes you think that? I know we've been getting a lot of artic sets but it's not understandable to have a new airport be on the artic. What actually amazes me is the fact that the remix sets is bigger than the other flagship sets, but cheaper. Also there's info on the summer sets but nothing much besides the numbers and age recommendations. Quote
