The builder of that is a member of my LUG, and have met him a few times, so I am quite excited to see that one get through! Not sure if it will be a purchase for me or not, but I am happy to see it get through.

Judging by the part count this one should be a bit more affordable than some of the others.  I wish he had used the actual cannon parts rather than brick built them.

Cannon parts weren't part of the part lists after series 5, so could not be used (3-in-1 Pirate ship is retiring after 2025)

3 pirate torso and the peg leg and printed skull hat were also removed after series 5.

LEGO Studio still has the part lists from series 5 to 8.

However, it does not mean 2026 can't or won't have a new set with cannons or pirates, I just think the parts aren't getting into lists , until after sets hit release dates (and BDP dates are known in advance)

I'm so glad that Coconut Cape was chosen, it's so beautiful! Reminds me of the architecture I used to see when I lived in Florida. Definitely on my list when crowdfunding rolls around.

Thank you for the heads up the existing cannons are going out of production.  Will be placing a bricks and pieces order to get a doz or so.

Have Tortuga on order.  Wishing had ordered the Seaside market when offered, will try to build something close from my collection of bricks.  Regarding the coconut cape, love the house, rock work not so much.  As crowd funding is sometime off will see if it grows on me.

• - September 2025 Icons Black Pearl
• - retirement of 3-in-1 Pirate ship (new set for 2026??)

I didn't even realize BDP 9 list was even out. I started working on a project that I intend to submit, I was using the BDP 8 list. Hopefully I dont have to make any major changes.

The palette has been available since July 1, but it doesn't appear all the Series 9 information has been added to the guidelines webpage yet as it's still displaying Series 8 information.
