I decided I wanted to save the Gaming Tower description text for posterity in case a leaked image does not eventuate. I've transcribed the image:

Quote

75101 Game Island Tower 1575 pcs. $179.99

The set includes a tall tower with a yellow roller coaster, screens with race broadcasts, and posters (stickers).
There are pink pixelated lightning bolts at the top of the tower and a throne for an unknown villain in black with white armor and a yellow eye.
He has a face print that looks like D-Shock (it could be him) and a transparent pink dome similar to Mysterio's.
The roller coaster features Dreamling in a new F1 racing helmet and a Cyberling in a gray knight helmet (like in the January sets).
At the base of the tower, there's a shop displaying a classic Space suit in a new light blue color with transparent legs.
On the sides, there are display stands featuring the classic Castle helmet and weapons from DREAMZzz.
The set also introduces a brand-new female cyber villain in a pink and white suit with a skirt. She has a new transparent helmet mold.
She controls a villainous centipede in white and black with a large brain with tentacles at the front. The set also includes a new Mateo with a
transparent green rubber hooded cape and a transparent green arm and leg (merged with Z-blob?), a new Mrs. Castillo, a new Mr. Oz in gray, white
and blue, Izzie from the January wave, Z-blob, little Logan with a cap with wolf ears, another Cyberling, and a new Albert figure in a navy blue space suit.

It was expected that this theme won't last too long, but still there were some really great designs here, so it's a shame that it will most likely end next year with 5 more sets.

71395 Mateo vs Brain mech has some heavy original theme villain mech vibes, especially to Dr inferno's mech from Agents. I absolutely adore the design of it, with the color scheme of mostly black with some azure accents  with trans pink and white just on certain sections. Only the vibrant yellow feels a bit out of place here. That new piece on the staff looks interesting, I expect that it would be used a lot this wave, with it having some very different uses, like they did with the previous parts like that.

The Mateo included here looks very interesting. The desing on his regular side is the same as in his January Car. Alongside the transparent arm and leg, I think he also has a trans green head, which means that the face print won't look great. The weapon that he's got reminds me of Chima, since there were plenty of large brick build weapons, that felt too heavy for the characters.

The price of $30 here is great with 365 parts, it's only got 2 minifigures if you count that dreamling, but the quality might make the quantity seem alright. So with that this goes to my wanted sets list, but I'm really not sure about that since dreamzzz isn't a big priority for me, like I had sets that I wanted from the previous waves, but I only have one small set from the theme, and while I liked that set, I wouldn't have gotten it if not for the great discount.

I believe that this type of attitude towards getting sets from this theme(that most likely a lot of lego fans have), might be the reason why it's not selling too well. As you would be more likely to get something from a theme that you collected for quite some time, and also had interest in other forms of media that theme is tied to(shows, movies...). Also there have been plenty of original lego action themes before, which didn't go too far, so from the start of the theme Dreamzzz you'd have the thought that this theme also won't last too long, so why bother with it that much. I've got Like $300+ worth of Nexo Knights sets, These sets that I got are great, and I don't really regret getting theme. But I've got the feeling that the money used on them could have gone to Ninjago sets during that time, as I don't have any sets from Skybound or Hands OfTime because of that.

It looks to me like it's a trans green helmet or something over a normal yellow head.

According to fateful on instagram, Dreamzzz will get some new sets in the first half of 2026 but none in the second half.

Set numbers are 71508 and 71512-5.

Summer 2025 sets to be revealed on May 2, 2025.

DreamZzz will be discontinued in 2026 if there is none in the second  half? I absoutely enjoy in-house themes like this one. :(

I'm sure it'll be replaced by something else- we pretty consistently went Chima-Nexo Knights-Hidden Side-Vidyo-Dreamzz.

I'd like to see another action theme with a more singular focus- dreamzz was cool but it felt very scattered at times, and fell victim to the now-classic "kids want the concept of gaming in physical toys", which... I dunno but when I was a kid video games were pretty popular and while I wanted lego sets based on universes that were from video games, I wasn't going around like "oh, man, if only Kai from Ninjago had a Nintendo Wii mech, that'd be cool". Something Castle based would be fun and a good way to stop lego from trying to "modernize" everything, maybe you do a more traditional/fantasy castle setting but give the main knights magic powers. Or do a system Bionicle Gen 3 or something.

Sounds like it, though we can't know for sure at this point. To be honest, I loved Hidden Side (the sets - couldn't care less about the app) but Dreamzzz never did anything for me. And I'm still not sure who's it meant for; I have a hard time imagining the same kids who'd coo over the cute dream creatures to watch a series that includes stuff like the Sharkship. Also the series seems to be heavily marketed at boys yet the villainous colour scheme for the first waves was black and trans-pink (wasn't everyone up in arms about how the old Friends sets, before the reboot, were excluding boys because they contained *gasp* shades of pink?). And the better-looking sets like the Sharkship and the pegasus are also the ones I've most often seen on clearance in our local stores (though they were still overpriced imo), so apparently what really sells are the mechs and stuff. Like LEGO doesn't have a metric ton of those already, Ninjago mechs, Star Wars mechs, City space mechs, Marvel mechs, mechs all around. By now, I'm no longer even excited for the next in-house theme if all we're going to get at an affordable price point is mechs mechs mechs. Again, Hidden Side was so much better - we had actual buildings, cool vehicles with character (like the Wrecked Shrimp Boat and the submarine), locations with character at affordable price points (like the cementary or subway station), and not a mech in sight. It's a shame they had to ruin it with the packaging and apps.

I think they already tried this with Nexo Knights (a modernized take on knighthood) and the results seem to have been underwhelming, so I doubt they'd go for it again. Also there's not insignificant competition here by now. Bluebrixx has a lot of castle sets, including some for kids. (Which might actually work in your favour since LEGO's new mission seems to be to take everything useful their competitors have come up with and put it in their portfolio. But even Bluebrixx' castle sets are mostly for adults, with kids being a secondary target group at best.)

And LEGO's been pretty obsessed with apps and video gaming throughout the last few inhouse themes: We had Hidden Side (a cool vintage vibe ruined by the reliance on an app), Vidiyo (LEGO "sets" you can "build" in like five minutes and then you're supposed to play with them using an app), and now actual buildable video game controllers and the like. Not to mention LEGO's many other properties based on video gaming (Minecraft, Fortnite, Sonic, Super Mario, Animal Crossing, Zelda, ...). I kind of feel like they regard Castle as something exclusively for nostalgic AFOLs the way they do LotR. They might still throw parents a bone sometimes (allegedly Creator 3-in-1 will have two different castle sets in the Summer), but for a new in-house theme I'd expect them to want to come up with something different again.

Following up on this post from January.... I still don't own 71487 but I only just discovered the shade of the Mateo figure is bright green, so anything I said about green air tanks and helmets doesn't really apply.

Something that is hard to tell in a brightly lit photo. The helmet is a bit harder to come by too.

It's the first photo I've seen with a green motorcycle helmet and airtanks (I think the OP used black) and I think it looks great as I hoped.

Fortunately I own 60097 but unfortunately I don't have spares of the green helmet or air tanks and green airtanks are super expensive now. I think 71487 would have been the perfect set for Lego to reintroduce the green air tanks in light of Lego recolouring the classic helmet green in 80054 last year.

I tried putting airtanks on a regular Mateo minifigure to see if the dreadlock hair piece touches and it only just clears but maybe it was too close for comfort for Lego.

On the subject of mistakes, embarrassingly, I completely missed that the dark pink recolour of Zoey's hair is originally from Doey, a figure I own. It wasn't done for BAM, why didn't anyone point this out? :P

Nice pick up. Zoey appears to now have dark pink hair, her bow is still purple. I wonder if it's the origin of this BAM recolour:

Well, at least this gives the chance for another inhouse theme, to take over the spot, which could basically be everything.

Well, you can´t really say they tried this with Nexo-Knights, since it was especially mentioned to be a traditional, less modernized fantasy castle setting, while Nexoknights, is exactly the opposite. What would actually come closer to what he was talking about would be Knights Kingdom II, where each of the knights had a certain ability, though they weren´t exactly magic users.

Honestly three years for an original story theme is pretty respectable so I can't be too bummed. Earlier this year I was worried about whether we'd get summer sets this year so knowing that not only will we but we'll get a single wave next year is a relief.

Is Season 3 somehow video game related? D-Shock and others in main roles?

I hope we get Agents theme, like Ultra Agents...

The whole wave seems to be game related, so presumably. I'm kind of hoping the story will touch on real-world phenomena like the "Tetris effect" (where playing video games in real life can influence your dreams).

Well, except for the fire truck mech.

But yeah, Dreamzzz has become pretty oversaturated with mech builds.

If LEGO wanted to do traditional Castle as a theme (other than throwing people the occasional bone with nostalgia bait like Eldorado or with Creator sets) they'd be doing so already. Adding magic would barely change anything since traditional Castle had witches, wizards, and the like anyway. It would also overlap too much with both D&D and HP,  I think.

Again, the only way I could consider them doing anything castle related for a new in-house theme is if they could modernize and update it, and they've already tried that with Nexo Knights.

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough about my meaning before.

I wasn´t saying they would make anything Castle like - sure it is possible, but quite unlikely. Probably the chance is higher that Pokemon takes the slot, than one of the classic themes.

Is it too late to start collect / MOC Dreamzzz theme?

(so much potential is wasted those horrible season 1 and 2)

It’s never too late, my fine, green friend!

I already have 4 sets. 2 Cars, Dino and Helicopter. All MOC's.

I made a HUGE MISTAKE in the beginning. I did not realise how great theme this is. Shark Ship was on stores. But what I did. Walk past it. Dreamzzz is ending 2026. Still many sets to get.

The 2HY sets will have some pretty unique minifigs again! My favourites are the trans-pink axolotl (?) and the new version of the Nightmare King with a tentacle/eyestalk crown  Or is he being possessed?

I don't think these are for the 2HY, as there were some small descriptions for that wave, and none of the new minifigures match. Especially with Izzie, as she is said to only come in that canceled set, and in that one she's got her 1HY outfit.

So I believe that these might be for 2026, as there were also some Ninjago minifigures from 2026 that were leaked before. It might feel too early for that, but I don't see any other option.

All these new minifigures look great, just how the Dreamzzz minifigures usually are. the printed arms on who I think is Cooper are especially neat.

Looking at Brickset, I have, apparently, 54% of all the Dreamzzz sets. Although I bought all but two on clearance (Nightmare Shark Ship and Never Witch's Midnight Raven which were so good as to be worth full price to me). I do really like the style and creativity, but I'm also not a huge fan of mechs, so a bunch don't get considered that much.

Given the seemingly continuous appearance of these sets in deals, I suspect plenty are still available to get.

Posted (edited)

I have only 6 Dreamzzz... sets. I have made 5 MOC's from 5 of the sets. Today I bought that small raven. Problem is money. There are many LEGENDARY sets! Summer is also quite close. For some reason many of the ALTERNATIVE BUILDS have been very interesting so I have to buy doubles.
