I have I feeling the size of the original mosasaurs on screen isn't very consistent, one video I watched used the scene we're it attacked that minisub and estimated it was abought three school buses long. JW Mosa is very inconsistent with its sizing. In JW it’s already bigger than a standard IRL mosasaur, then it’s shown to be even bigger in JWFK, larger than the largest known IRL Mosa. Its size changes constantly from 16ft - 37ft, plus a whole lot in between. The Mosa we’ve seen for Rebirth is smaller than the JW Mosa Quote
Time Dragon Posted February 15 Posted February 15 At this size the lego mosa is going to have a hard time jumping for the shark. Quote
imposter Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Do we have any information about movie release and set release. Is it happening same day even? Quote

imposter Posted February 16 Posted February 16 (edited) Is it even possible that sets come before the movie? (spoilers) Edited February 16 by imposter Quote

imposter Posted February 16 Posted February 16 I don't understand how these four dinos were revealed before sets. Have to watch trailer again is there these dinos. Otherwise this is a spoiler from lego. Quote

I suspect a lot of the companys got the green light to reveal a group of dinosaurs and that boat the mosa attacks in the hasbro toy. Yeah the lego dinos we see are in the trailer. Quote
THELEGOBATMAN Posted February 16 Posted February 16 (edited) Sets for movies always come out before them. 1 hour ago, imposter said: I don't understand how these four dinos were revealed before sets. They were very clearly under an embargo that lifted once the first trailer came out After the first trailer dropped, both Mattel and Lego showed off their Dino designs and toys from dinosaurs which were shown in the trailer - it’s also why we only got dinosaur reveals and not actual set reveals, most likely the sets they appear in were not shown in the trailer, thus they’re still under embargo - not the most difficult thing to understand Edited February 16 by Bobdapeach Quote

In this scenario it doesn't fit, but pictures of Lego dinosaurs from the sets based on the film could obviously be a spoiler. Quote

How so? A spoiler by definition is something that may negatively affect one‘s viewing experience, like ruining a surprise. I don‘t see how the existence or appearance of dinosaurs in a dinosaur franchise can be considered a spoiler Unless it‘s a very specific dino of course, say, if Blue or Rexy made an unexpected appearance in the movie and it got revealed through a set. That could indeed be a spoiler. Also, YMMV. If something‘s shown in a trailer or other promotional material, it‘s generally not viewed as a spoiler since it‘s official. Of course there are people who want to go into a movie blindly and thus all marketing would be a spoiler to them, including toys. Quote

You mean if it counted as a spoiler if it was A) real, B) in a set, and C) included among the dinos & reptiles that toymakers unveiled? Good question. It could count as spoiler since its existence gives away a key plot detail, but then again, we saw a pickled two-headed raptor in the trailer, so the cat is out of the bag (Also, I think the preserved two-headed raptor is just there to showcase the experimentation InGen did and to foreshadow the mutant, not to foreshadow other two-headed raptors) Quote

imposter Posted February 17 Posted February 17 (edited) For those people who don't watch trailers it is a huge spoiler. Now we know that there is even this Titanosaurus which looks like some kind of hybrid dino. https://jurassicpark.fandom.com/wiki/Titanosaurus Edited February 17 by imposter Quote

I dont know why they arent working anymore i must be doing something wrong, any help appreciated, cheers guys! Edited February 17 by AxolotlPlays Quote
FinlayTheFaithful Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Nice to get some clarification that we will just get some normal raptors in this movie, shame we don't have design reveals for them yet Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted February 17 Posted February 17 26 minutes ago, imposter said: For those people who don't watch trailers it is a huge spoiler. What exactly does it spoil though? As I said, „dinosaur appears in dinosaur movie“ isn‘t exactly a spoiler, even if they‘re new species. A titanosaurus appearing doesn‘t reveal anything about the plot. It‘s the dino equivalent of treating casting announcements for new characters as spoilers Quote
imposter Posted February 17 Posted February 17 It is not a surprice anymore. Four different dinos... all in the movie. Quote

What do you want the toy companies to sell then? Abstract concepts? If you intend to go into a movie blindly, you have to avoid all marketing, and that includes toys. Quote
