Technically, they made Julia Carpenter this year, who was featured in the critically acclaimed Madame Web. While it’s not the Web herself, it’s something, I think.

Agreed about the minifigures. Hopefully Spidey will at least have his dual-molded legs, but that doesn’t feel likely.

I also think it fits that Madam Web, which is the least memeable (and arguably therefore worst, even if Morbius is a special type of bad) film in the franchise, is the only one to not get the main character in a set.

I think the dual molded legs and arm printing on spidey are guarantees for a set this big. This is an abysmal figure lineup, don't get me wrong, but spider-man will probably have dual molded legs.

Lego accidentally making a set where you can recreate the worst spider man storyline by having civilian Gwen and Norman figs in Oscorp would be really funny.

What's funny is a lot of people are doing to assume this is a "Gwen Dies" joke, when the reality is much more disturbing.

Now we just need Paul to be included in Peter’s apartment. Then Lego’s transformation into marvel editorial will be complete.

I’m honestly surprised that Lego’s putting Gwen and Norman Osborne in the same set. IYKYK.

Yeah, thats no longer part of canon thankfully, turns out it was scheme by Harry Osborn from beyond the grave because comics.

I don't know about that. I have a yyoung cousin who would go gaga over that set as he absolutely loves monster trucks.

Tell that to her mom who was researching spiders in the Amazon right before she died

I imagine that whoever spread the rumor about the Oscorp tower has seen images of the set? And that if venom was a bigfig they would have told us? Or can I still hope?? :-/

There's no notes about any of the other figures so sure, Venom could be a big fig, which would help excuse the price to a degree, but the more likely answer for the price is inflation

Did she ever see her again, or does the film not explicitly come out and tell us? 🤔

I've watched two episodes of the new Spidey animation series that are available and the show looks fun. I dig this homemade suit. Characters seem interesting. I'm waiting for the rest.

Watch paul receive new face, torso, and leg prints.

Not the monster truck in general, but that it's got a minifig hulk and from what I can tell, no play features. If the set came with a bigfig hulk that could rip this thing in half I'd actually think it's a pretty cool kids' toy, as-is it's a monster truck with hulk and thanos minifigs.

It's good but it obviously doesn't beat the cultural juggernaut of cinema that is Micheal Morbius, and I think I might put Rhino's weird noise from kraven or just how many "I'm kraven a different movie" jokes you can make over that line.

Unironically would be happy to get a comic MJ and Mephisto, even if it meant I'd also have to have an official Paul.

This might actually be my biggest issue with the show from what I've seen- I personally don't like this suit at all (Nor have I liked most of the other "homemade suits" they've done post-homecoming), but my bigger issue is the lore thing that spider-man can't make a decent suit without a Tony or, god forbid, a Norman. (And- and I'm getting super off topic now and just venting about weird decisions from the show- why does he get the future foundation suit when not only is that a suit the FF make him, but Norman actually makes him a suit at one point in the comics they could have used!)

Was recently forced to go to a monster truck jam and can say with certainty that the appeal, especially to those this set is aimed at, is  that it's a big car that doesn't get damaged easily when it does flips, flips over, or runs into things. That's it.  Although they  might like the more colorful and elaborately designed trucks, they don't have to have features or other gimmicks to amuse the target audience.

If the price of Oscorp is due to inflation, how come the AOU Quinjet is $10 cheaper for 300 more pieces? Remember, leakers aren't allowed to reveal everything they know... don't get hopes up, but Venom might be a big fig

I think it's just an overprices Marvel set - plain and simple. The Hoopty and X-Jet were way overpriced too, and they did that without big-figs as an excuse.

True that. Still excited either way, cause I've been hoping for an Oscorp set with Norman Osborn since 2012!

My point is that this is a marvel set, and yet the only marvel related thing about it is the minifigures. It's just a monster truck. No play feature, not even stud shooters. It's a city set with the minifigures wearing hulk and thanos costumes.

I think you're letting hope overshadow reality here.

It's almost a habit at this point for lego to have a few sets a year that are just laughably overpriced compared to everything else, that's nothing new. The leviathan has about as many pieces as the X-jet, includes a big fig in addition to the same amount of normal minifigures, and is almost half the price.

I don't think anything can ever live up to the hype surrounding the Morbfather. Absolute cinema!

Can't believe that someone wrote that for British Academy Film Award, Golden Globe and Oscar for Best Supporting Actress winning, plus Tony Award and two time Primetime Emmy Award nominated actress Ariana DeBose to deliver... and she ISN'T being nominated for an another Oscar for this film?!? Snubbed!

Would Mephisto actually be allowed to appear in a set? Not sure if any other theme have used a devil or something close to one, but I'm sure it would probably go against LEGOs rules, which I'm also still convinced is why we don't have a First Avengers set

Another example of horrible planning, at least in the UK the Hoopty (3 minifigs, 420 pieces, appropriate as whoever priced that set was on something) is £10 cheaper than the Spider Man NWH final battle (9 minifigs, 900 pieces)

If Gwen Stacy in Oscorp is a civilian fig, that could decrease the chances of getting a new MJ in the apartment set, as it would mean Lego is establishing Gwen as Peter's love interest in their Spiderverse

Hulk Monster Truck would honestly be a pick up for me—if not for three flaws.

One, Hulk is lacking the dual-molded legs, which is strange when we just had them in a mech. We need more dual-molded legs!

Two, doesn’t look like there’s a working suspension for the wheels of the monster truck, which automatically makes it uncool. Might as well make a regular height truck with big wheels sticking out the sides.

Three, no big-figs! Both of the former points would’ve been negated if they had two huge comic-style, big-figs of Hulk and Thanos. Nay, just a big-fig of Hulk versus a puny Titan would be hilarious.

Apart from Tony having a white coffee mug—as all minifigs should—the new Hall of Armor is worthless to me. I really like the 2013 Iron Patriot only, so all the new figure does for me is give hope the older figure will lower in price (doubtful).

Oscorp disappoints me. I doubt we get a decent Gwen, and although Kraven is cool, I can wait for him to be in another set.

The first movie to make a Morbillion dollars at the box office, too.

I dunno. I don't think we'd actually get him in anything unless he becomes more prominent, just because, like, why waste prints on him when we don't have Kaine, another Daredevil, Moon Knight, or Luna Snow (only partially joking, as he isn't really in any stuff kids are exposed to much these days), but lego's done figures like lil' devil before, so I think Mephisto would probably be allowed since he's technically not the devil in-universe and his design kind of just looks like a guy in a red suit and cape.

Yeah it was pretty similar in the US too.

I don't think that really has any bearing on anything, lego has no consistent lore here. We've had civilian gwen before, we get comic spider-gwen in comic sets, I don't think it means anything in relation to "establishing love interests".

Yeah it's just a city set with marvel figs, like at least the constant morbmobiles and hero cars take the time to make futuristic or character-themed designs. This is a city monster truck with a couple Hulk stickers. (And at least Hulk should have been a bigfig)

I think you’re looking for another p word that sounds like pdf file.

Not that it does anything besides take the situation from "disgusting and illegal why would the spider man writers do this" to just "disgusting why would the spider man writers do this", but weren't they all in college by that point?

I still assume it'll be spider-gwen in the set. People are getting their hopes up for Mayday or Bigfig Venom but I'm pretty confident the leakers would have told us (and that lego thinks Kraven will be enough to get the fig collecters to buy the overpriced set anyway). I think it's pretty clear the lineup will be Spider-Man (re-use of current design), Spider-Gwen (re-use of comic design), Miles Morales (re-use of comic design with the hoodie), Spider-Girl (Julia from the Venom set reuse), Venom (re-use of current design), Norman (Kitbash, maybe an exclusive face with a goblin side if we're lucky), Green Goblin (ideally a new design but not-unlikely to be a re-use), Kraven (new torso and hopefully head, no leg printing)

I'd guess 6 new prints in the set MAX: Goblin head/torso/legs, kraven head/torso, Norman head. (Which should have been spent on Luna head/torso, moon knight head/torso, kaine head/torso. I'm not letting this go. This set took modular oscorp from me so now I'm bringing these extremely unrealistic figure expectations into every comment about it)

Hi, I heard rumors of the peter's department will have hobgoblin fig.

And I heard rumors too of lizard figure, is this real or is a fake rumor?

Well it's a real rumour but that doesn't mean it's true. If it was verifiably true or false it wouldn't be a Rumour.

That said I don't think  either of those peices of information have been verified by our more reliable sources ( who are in and of themselves not infallible anyhow).

Yeah.. That Oscorp Fig list is not it. I have little faith in the set since it's not a modular (which I feel like is better suited for Oscorp) and has a lackluster figure list.

Here's my predictions on the figures I'm expecting in the Summer sets that don't have the full minifigure lists yet:

Peter Parker's Apartment: Spider-Man (duh), Peter Parker (duh), Mr. Negative

Spider Man 2 Train Battle: Spider-Man (reuse from the NWH Final Battle set), Doc Ock (reuse from the NWH Final Battle set even though it would be inaccurate, though that hasn't stopped LEGO Marvel in the past), Train Conductor (reused parts)

AOU Quinjet: Quicksilver (already confirmed), Captain America (reuse), Black Widow (reuse) (I know some people are hoping for more than 3 figures in this set but I'm keeping my hopes low unless proven otherwise)

And obviously the only 2 figures that are going to be in the Iron Man 2 set are just going to be reuses of the Mark 6 and War Machine suit from the 2022 Hall of Armor/Avengers Tower
