We’ve often had multiple Batmobiles on the shelf at the same time, but I can’t think of a time we got even two Batmobiles released together (except when one was 4+). Releasing three Batmobiles at the same time, same age range, same price sounds like a perfect way to cannibalize sales. I was going to say that happened in 2021 with the 4+ Batmobile at $30, the Classic TV Batmobile at $30, and the Tumbler at $40, but it turns out the 4+ Batmobile and the Classic TV Batmobile were April releases while the Tumbler was an October release, so they weren't actually all released at the same time. Rwbricks Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago We currently have one $100 Batmobile, two $60 Batmobiles, and one $20 4+ Batmobile on shelves. The older ones may be phased out for the new ones, but some stores I’ll see have recently older sets in addition to current sets. If these three $30 sets are all Batmobiles, seeing seven Batmobiles on shelves concurrently at all different prices would be wild. Quote
calebcold3 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Given how 76333 doesn't have an age range yet, I feel like it could potentially be a 6+ set that is a Batman VS Joker Mech Pack. Quote
psqidexslizer Posted 13 minutes ago Posted 13 minutes ago (edited) It’s a shame Lego is currently allergic to villain vehicles for some bizarre unknown reason. The Jokermobile, Penguin’s Submarine, Two Face’s armored car, or even that stupid tank Mr Freeze drove in Batman and Robin would all be welcome alternatives to the ongoing onslaught of Batmobiles.
