I think you’re the only one getting the logo at all.

I‘m getting it too! :snicker: It‘s not exactly a set worth writing home about, but I like the greebling and the golden Batman serves as a nice tombstone on the theme :laugh_hard:

a ... tombstone on the theme

That is a surprisingly apt description of the logo set.

I can’t think of a more apt description for this set than a tombstone for the theme. Ironic that it’s also the celebration of the 20th (and final) anniversary.

I mean, there'll be more anniversaries... there's just a good chance they won't include new sets or recognition from lego.

I have this a bit weird idea to build right side cave on top of left side cave. Make it about 2-3 times bigger MOC (than the "og box") but not a box. More like a large cave where height is about 3 times height of the "og box". After that I try to fit multiple Batmobiles in. Batwing, Batbike, Batsubmarine, and probably some kind of drone.

Don't you have the 89 one, isn't it in the shadowbox?

That is massive. MOC is in minifigure scale. 66' / 89' / tumbler / bvs / the batman ... those cars in Schumachers films... well, I'm not 100 % sure what to do. 5 Batmobiles inside batcave is maximum. Then there are Batwing, Batbike, Batsubmarine, Batdrone... A.I. + Alfred will take care of the cave + security + connections like Lucius Fox & Wayne Tech.

I will have very close eye for upcoming LEGO BATMAN game (2026). I really hope we get sets and Mocs from that.

In the Bruce Wayne and the Batsuit Polybag (30736), what Batman suit can we expect to see?

I'm asking only because I could see only two options they can go with:

The 2025 Batman suit that was in this year's 4+ set, Arkham, and the upcoming Batman Logo:

LEGO DC 2025 sets listed, including The Dark Knight Tumbler

OR

The Battinson Suit, already in the 2026 Battinson Mobile, that is going to be the main suit in the Legacy of The Dark Knight Game:

I’d definitely want the Battinson one as I hate the new 4+ Batman. But I do think it’ll be the 4+ one with a reused torso for Bruce. The only way I see it being Battinson is if it’s a pre-order bonus for the game

I hope the pre-order is a rare suit. It would suck if the pre-order is an existing suit.

also, I’m 100% expecting the Bruce Wayne figure in the Batsuit Polybag to have the Shang Chi Head on the Michael Scott/Professor X Torso.

Mmmm, makes sense, I'd go for the original build personally

Don't get me wrong. First Captain America movie is very interesting, idea behind it, but some how DC is on different level... We might witness downfall of Marvel and DC coming back ... 2030-

How do we feel about WB putting itself up for sale?

Our only hope is that Universal gets it since Netflix would kill DC cinema releases, Disney is bad for obvious reasons and Paramount would be problematic due to Ellison having close ties to the current administration, which may make DC pretty partisan among other things.

If Universal gets WB then maybe they’ll restore the TLBM-verse.

Batman will last everything...

The Batman: Part II
Batman Azteca: Choque de Imperios
Bat-Family
The Brave & The Bold
Harley Quinn Season 5
Dynamic Duo
Gotham City Police Department
Arkham Asylum
Batgirl

Also we just have Superman, then Supergirl, and after that The Batman Part II. These are not all and certain. Then we might get Batman LEGO game in 2026. (LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark Knight). AND 4 lego sets which are related to that videogame.

I'd first want to point out that those are by no means the only three options. Amazon springs to mind as an obvious one, but there are others. Sony, perhaps.

Netflix is possible, but personally I just don't see it happening. Disney would not be permitted to purchase warner bros. As for Paramount, the majority of CEOs are at the very least big donors to one administration or another, it means nothing. They're in it for profit, Paramount certainly isn't putting out partisan content at the moment, it's not like owning DC would change that. Universal would definitely be interesting.

I have some terrible news for you.

Like I just said... Still the number of upcoming projects is massive. And best thing to happen lego dc is that videogame. It would be something to get even more sets later this year. Game is not out yet. Probably Q4 / 2026.

r/DCU_ - LEGO, if you're listening, PLEASE make at least ONE Man of Tomorrow set in 2027...

I know Drinker goes to conventions, so, IF we get MoT sets in 2027, someone should have him sign one of the sets and say sarcastically, "So.. how's the DCU coming along?"

I mean, it's definitely not off to the strongest start. I know there's varying arguments as to how much Superman actually turned out in terms of profit, but the fact that it's at the very least as close as it was is proof enough that it wasn't the hit they needed, and it's doing worse on streaming than Black Adam did. Peacemaker S2 sounds to have been pretty divisive, especially the ending, and did NOT do well in terms of viewership, Warner Bros is for sale, and Gunn himself has implied that at the very least, HIS future with the DCU isn't a sure thing anymore. I don't think it's an unreasonable conclusion to draw that things aren't going so well.
