thomasanderson Posted October 14 Posted October 14 (edited) Not gonna lie - cuusoo version looked bad, like very bad - only good thing were printed parts. I'm glad we finally will have maybe not perfect but decent looking version. Must-have-mods: - DMC slope from icons model - probably front lights 20 minutes ago, RichardGoring said: What train wheels would fit onto this for a BTTF3 version? Out of house for couple of days so can't verify if this wheel will fit but probably https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=55423c01#T=C&C=11 EDIT: just realized that Marty will have puffer vest https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=5275&idColor=7#T=C&C=5 exactly how I did with mine Marty (well it was obvious choice and another great part that is coming from Dreamzzz). The original Ideas 21103 version was $35 in 2014, and this is $28 and of a similar size, let alone significantly better quality. It's not perfect, but for the scale it would be hard to do better. What train wheels would fit onto this for a BTTF3 version? It appears to be too wide to fit on train tracks, sadly @RichardGoring. We need justice for BTTF pt.3 fans - a car that can fit on train tracks! 13 minutes ago, thomasanderson said: Not gonna lie - cuusoo version looked bad, like very bad - only good thing were printed parts. It can be just display tracks but good point on it be too wide for regular tracks. I've noticed three-wide one with sticker but still printed 2-wide DMC slope will look better IMHO (than 3-wide black slope without sticker). Quote
Void_S Posted October 14 Posted October 14 I'm sorry for being late - shouldn't it be in a 2026 year discussion? Quote

A mod can move everything from my original DeLorean post forward over to that thread if they want to or feel like it's needed. Quote
RichardGoring Posted October 15 Posted October 15 I think doing a small scene with display tracks is still worth it for a BTTF3 version. To be honest, I want to do that with 10300 too, but likely a lot easier (and cheaper) with this. It is a bit of a shame that it won't fit as standard, although I wonder if the interior could be hollowed out sufficiently to have internal wheels running on the track and then ones on the outside for show/scale? On the one hand, it's not a huge model so not a lot of space to plat with. On the other hand, not crazy expensive or time-consuming to play around with several ideas. This will be a fun project to try! Quote
hikouki Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Looks really great! I'm predicting backordered by day one. LOL Quote

frogger17 Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Even as a fan of the movie, I was never interested in a toy model of the car. But this one looks very well done at this scale. Can’t wait to add it to the collection. Quote
