But the go kart was released in 2016 and the 42069 in 2017 and since 2017 we have not gotten anymore purple sets :( but its funny that the 42048 heart still lives on the f1 cars gearbox because the 42048 gearbox is the same as on the 230€ f1 ferrari and redbull:) Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 I have a feeling that the Ford Bronco will introduce the offroad tire (Audi style) for small rims. Quote
Timorzelorzworz Posted March 13 Posted March 13 And thats with the reddish orange in a small Set. Sounds good. Quote

You mean something like 56mm? 2 hours ago, Ngoc Nguyen said: Actually I think the Ford Bronco will be Bright Light Orange. That would be nice! Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 2 minutes ago, gyenesvi said: You mean something like 56mm? Maybe 49.5, since G63's tyre is slightly smaller than Unimog's tyre. Quote

Ngoc Nguyen Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 3 minutes ago, gyenesvi said: 56 mm ones. 56 mm tyres are quite inconvenient to build around because it's too close to 7M dimension, which causes it to rub with upper sides. Quote
msk6003 Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Considering similer tire(Tractor tire 69912 <-> 70695, Offroad tire 45982 <->55976) If smaller tire share same pattern with audi tire it will be 56 too. Quote

msk6003 Posted March 14 Posted March 14 19 minutes ago, 1gor said: Or nice surprize...G-wagen 88mm - Audi 81 mm => Bronco 74mm??? 74mm seems like way to big for 30x20 rim. And we already have those size tire. 75x28 and this tire used on 1:12 F-150 rapter. Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted March 14 Author Posted March 14 For 56mm rims (Unimog, Defender): Tractor tire is 107mm, while offroad tire (G63) is 87.9mm For 43.2mm rims (Audi): Tractor tire is 81mm, while offroad tire (Audi) is 81.5mm. There's no real correlation between tractor tire size and offroad tire size for the same rim size. Quote
Jockos Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Just now, Maaboo the Witch said: Reckon the L120H is gonna use the Audi tyres. I would be really happy about that. At least that could determine its scale/size. I'm curious about when TLG wants to update or widen the available pneumatic components, as they release more and more sets with them. Quote

Going by the price and piece count, and as we didnt't get a pneumatic set yet this year, I suppose it will be pneumatic. I would be surprised if the Lunar Outpost set turned out to be pneumatic. Aurorasaurus Posted March 14 Posted March 14 I see a lot of speculation about pneumatics, but is it possible that lego will stop making pneumatics? We seem to see a lot of problems with pneumatic parts, pumps not working after some time or whatever. I'm sure providing support to those people gets expensive for years and years after a sets release. I just don't think it makes sense to make more of something that seems to have such a high failure rate. Quote

How much do you think Lego pneumatic pump or cylinder cost to manufacture after mold is already developed? Lego will stop making pneumatics if people will stop buying sets with pneumatics ;) Quote

Lego already has the molds, so production costs really aren't that big of an issue. The novelty of them will always sell sets. Quote
