Nice one, Balázs! :D

Honestly, I wouldn't even be surprised of the re-introduction of the Racers theme.

Speaking of pre-assembled models, I'm curious when we'll see Junior/4+ sets in Technic, if ever.

I know that this is an April Fools joke, but it really wouldn't surprise me if there were a grain of truth here.

I have seen companies use april fools as a safe way to test customer interest in radical ideas.

LEGO Ready (premium, pre-assembled models for adults) is very good! That's the lego spirit!

I heard there will be a partnership with Ik*a for pre-built shelves...

I'm hoping the EC500 will include some serious bells and whistles, including this badass engine bay.

As long as it's functional. Remember: this is the theme formally known as Technic, where it used to be about functions.

Yes, I know it's wishful thinking, but since a few days, there's an April Fools joke that Lego should prove false. :sceptic:

Tell me that you expect it to be using a fairly priced, easy to use electronics with physical remote. That's the same level of wishfull thinking.

Indeed.

Anyway, since CON+TROLL is out the door and PF no longer a thing, is this puppy even gonna be motorized?

It being 18+ is no indicator of motorization, as seen with the Ford Raptor. And using manual control to lift that mahoosive boom would be tedious, to say the least.

Well i remember one great alternative build for the 42055 it was excavator and it had independent track movement and everything while using only one motor so my hope is that the 42215 has a Airbus dumb batterybox and 2 L motors for maxium power and torc or 1 L motor and pair of light for the cabin:)

Ha, I defo agree with that but, at the same time a successor (sometime in the not-so-near future) to the 8070 Supercar would not be too bad I think.

After all these years and so many sets with huge piece counts I can't believe Technic still doesn't have 4500-5000 pcs sets (which are not cars)...

They need to do something and quickly. After last year's rather dismal offerings, I'm going through some serious Technic withdraws. Been flying drones to take up some of my spare time, but I need something for when weather prevents that. Heck, I'd be happy if they just re-introduced some of the old sets.

I agree, I was excited for space sets last year but then they were kinda underwhelming as an AFOL. Maybe part of the problem is us becoming better builders so all of Lego's offerings aren't sufficiently better than what we think we could do. Especially with the higher prices and lower quality of the parts these days... It feels like they're trying to convince unknowing customers that Lego must be so much better than clones by just making the price difference even more. Not advocating for clone brands, but I'm aware of growing awareness of them.

Your post spoke out of my heart. It's really hard to find a model which totally convince me to buy/build, though there are very excited new parts which were a mere wish 10 years ago like planet gear hubs or 19x3 liftarms.

Still I am always hopeful for upcoming sets.
