Did I mention that he bought M-Tron merch? Maybe you should too, with my affiliate link of course.

I don’t believe this event makes sense where we are in our lore’s timeline, but I couldn’t resist.

I have a couple other photos as well available on the Bricksafe page I just started just now. Hope y’all enjoy. :)

This is art, the only two pillars of hope against Luigi bonding. The girders are super effective small builds too.

I think a previous Dummy/Luigi brawl works in our timeline. He did visit the famous pizzeria that started it all in our lore, easily could have had a scuffle when he realised where he was. Luigi is the only person who could make him break a sweat

To be fair, WhatNot is an auctioning app, so mileage may vary (plus I kept bidding up—I was not about to let him slip out of my fingers). Although I do remember seeing him go for $15 on BL a while back; don’t know if I overpaid, and I don’t care if I did.

The package asset was supposed to come in a couple days ago; now it’s just chilling in a warehouse on the other side of town. I can hear him calling to me… He better be on my desk sharing a coffee break with the Superman mech within the next twenty-four hours or I peacefully protest outside the Capitol in D.C.

You didn't over pay by much anyways, on bricklink it's like 7 bucks in the US for one and that doesn't take into account shipping. He's a lad and a half and worth the extra cost. This Dummy has a story now, he had raided a nearby warehouse for some biscuits to share with his new friend Kal

Ha, unironically I want this to happen now. It’s not like it’d matter at the end of the day, right? Give him a term, make him the most comic-accurate Joker yet, then send him back to make Joker 3: A Dance in Parie.

I mean it would cause world war three, putting Morbius himself in a position of government power would cause a vampiric infestation on a level not seen since April 2008.

Well, the more you know. I had previously thought that the Dummy could take on anyone without a blink. (Then again, he doesn’t have to blink in order to sweat…)

Now with that in mind, here’s another powerscale debate for you, @CloneCommando99: an army of Dummy’s versus the Green Lantern Corps and the Vilumanite Empire combined.

Thanks! I’m inclined to agree myself on the first, although the girders turned out to be more time-consuming than I originally imagined.

True, true. I do miss the special tile of his, but that’s something I can live without for now. At the end of the day, another step in my journey of collecting every Series 1-6 minifigure, and a pretty significant one at that.

That explains why I heard a tiny voice tell me to make bitter black tea (the main reason for which we Americans told Britain au revoir way back when; good times).

Sort of; it’s a set for a series of comics I’m doing, loosely based off my current living quarters. Some people have fancy all-white backdrops, I stick to a white wall with any pop culture tiles I have on-hand.

More like World Dance-off Three, right? Right?

I’ll just nod my head and pretend I understood that reference to either Buffy the Vampire, Twilight, or Vampirina.

It's a really good set, lots of personality but doesn't distract from the characters, will look forward to your comic

Yeah, the most important step in that journey methinks. I'm sure you'll come across the tile later.

Oh please no. The Dummy is a kind saviour he asks nothing more of his followers than going bowling with him. And maybe the occasional gift of a wall he can disassemble.

He could take on anyone, Luigi of course isn't really a person, he's beyond such simple labels. The Dummy would still win a one on one fight though, it's why Luigi must scheme and plot and make alliances. If the Dummy wasn't a factor he could have won in a weekend.

Dummy's will to demolish is more powerful than anyone else's will to do anything, like Hal has done before this would me he has enough will to make all the rings leave their bearers and the Dummy would then use them to deconstruct all the other combatants atom by atom. His will to do so is so great no-one could defeat the constructs

C'mon, not even a question. Dummy feels like the type of guy that frequently uses headbutts as part of his attack strategy. Viltrum is toast. Dummy can disassemble the two pieces comprising the actual Green Lantern- the Corps are toast.

Nice

Only if Matt Smith also shows up, otherwise the world gets Morbed.

Not for me but whatever formalwear the Dummy is in, if he can make room in his busy schedule to appear, should probably have a bowtie that just seems like the sorta dress sense he'd have.

This is only tangentially related but I saw Morbius on opening night so I remember this happening before the morbing time stuff took off a few days later. After I saw it that dance scene was the main thing on my mind because it's so funny, the only needle drop in the film was a song was randomly in the middle in a song where the only intelligible lyric was "have sex" so I remember the talks amongst the people I saw it with being insane confusion over what the song was actually saying because the fact one line was in english made us all have a lady mondegreen moment and hear other lyrics. This was obviously common among early Morbers  because I remember, for like about a week before the meme really took off and thus there were more eyes on the song, the Genius page for Ekse was vandalised and no-one noticed. All the lyrics were replaced with what people heard it as, I believe it was just endless variations on the phrase "have sex, poop my pants my tent, poop my pants my tent, have sex" and it sounds so stupid now but at the time that killed me man. I remember the lyric meaning bit being just a paragraph saying it's a song about how Matt Smith is so cool he can shit himself all over his tent and still get laid.

This little paragraph was for no-one but me, I just remember dying laughing at that, my favourite memory of Morbius.

Also a very valid paint. Dummy kinda busted. Him and Luigi are kinda the most OP characters ever

I looked it up and screenshots do exist of this, it stayed up for way longer than I remembered though lol, people were posting about it in late May!

I figure he'll be coming out of a portal to the Dummy Realm. Not sure if his parts are in Stud.io and I don't want to go make a ton of custom prints for one meme set, but luckily a bow tie is a separate piece now so we can put it on a stock dummy, maybe give him a top hat.

Incredible. My own Morbstory is that when I went to see Sonic The Headgehog 2 in theatres, me and my friends were each forcibly given 5 Morbius posters as no one attended the premiere of the movie at that location. I put it in my window at my dorm and was known to the general student population as "morbius poster guy" that year.

I think his torso and head are at least, could be misremembering. It makes sense if he doesn't show up, glamour and glitz aren't really his thing, he's a messiah for the common man. If he show'd up to such a high class event it'd probably.be brief, or maybe he'd stay longer to hand out his new album (who knew you could cover the entire LEGO Racers soundtrack with just a slidewhistle)

On the subject of Sig Figs… do you guys have a concept of personal lore and a concept supporting cast as well?

For example here’s the Clone Lantern’s rogues gallery I’ve thought out in my head (Minus the Aslume big bads like Luigi and Turtle)

  • Harbinger (the orchestrator of the time-line convergence)
  • Clonquest (a hyper-violent clone who was infused with Viltrumite DNA during time-line convergence, is the empire’s attack dog in his converged universe)
  • Black Krypton (I’ll let you guys guess this one)
  • Whistling Bird (Evil Omega from an AU where the separatists captured Kamino and handed her over to Death Watch)
  • Clonkler (self explanatory)
  • The Clanker (self explanatory)
  • Kix Kuthor (Evil version of Kix who managed to get his hands on a Lex-Corp armour during time-line convergence)

Here’s some allies:

  • Vanguard (a clone who was bitten by a radioactive Steve Rogers during timeline convergence)
  • Calibre (a clone who got his hands on an Avengers Quantum suit, giving him the powers of Antman.)
  • Womp Rat (AKA ARC-X, was given a Beskar skeleton and injected with Wolverine DNA during time-line convergence)
  • Shogun (Clone Trooper who spent a month in the Ninjago universe during time-line convergence and became a weeb)
  • Beacon (Clone who was trained by Night-Wing and Green arrow during Time-line convergence)
  • Scarlet Spider
  • Kon El

Well, for lore pertaining to my Swordy persona:

 - Myself (if you need an explanation for that… don’t know what to tell you about that)

 - My Editor (a sorta split-persona that has manifested into a separate person altogether)

 - Tire Police (the blue and white guy that’s my current sigfig)

 - Darth Lertus (a villain from an old Star Wars fanfic. Name is derived from Hannibal Lector but there’s no connections other than that. He’s mostly a joke character but I’d keep an eye on him.)

Now, if you would be ever so kind as to indulge me… I shall share my childhood LEGO lore that for some inexplicable reason I’m committed to telling in a cinematic saga! or just a collection of novellas, one day. Either way, this is a storied world into which I’ve poured a lot of time and thought, as evidenced by the length of what’s to come.

*cracks knuckles*

Things to know:

 - The LEGO Islands is the main location, with three in total: the main island with LEGO City, Crook Island, where all the crooks are given lease to live without law, and LEGO Juniors Island, about whom we don’t talk much.

 - The Crooks’ society is the exact moral opposite of any normal one; wrong is taught as good, right is taught as bad.

 - For some people, their names were given after birth, associated with whatever interest or trait they showcased. Mostly a fad from the 80s.

 -  The TireForce is a team of remarkable people united to save LEGO City from the many threats she faces without the legal procedures necessary as a cop. Comprised of Tire, Police Leader, Ice, and the Tire-Bots, with some additions later on as well.

 - A general rule for villains and heroes: any action of nature will have an opposite and equal reaction.

Heroes:

 - Police Leader Police (Unfortunate name, yes; take it up with kid Swordy. Anyway, he was the original main character of my LEGO adventures. His power he was born with is that logic, although still present, bends to him, allowing him to become the best at everything. Yep, he’s almost literally perfect.)

 - Tire Police (as previously established, my sigfig, and Police Leader’s older brother. He ran a mechanic shop called Tire’s Garage, then started his own company named after himself, Tire Co. His brilliance is unparalleled, creating numerous robots called Tire-Bots, a car which is both the fastest and indestructible, and eventually creating enhanced replacements for his arms and legs after a horrible skydiving ambush accident. Founder of the TireForce)

 - Ice Police (World’s best pilot. He’s the youngest brother of the Police family, named for being born in a ice storm. The founder of Blizzard Squad, a team of elite pilots in the LEGOian Military.)

 - Michael Police (Police Leader’s cousin and best friend. He was accidentally sucked into the Cyber-Verse, splitting his being across both dimensions and granting him the ability to cross between the two. Acts as the guardian anti-virus of the TireForce computer network.)

 - Chief Chase McCain (in a world where the LCU game was a historic retelling, McCain is through the process of time promoted to Chief of the central district in LEGO City and made head of formerly the LEGO Spy Agency, which was intentionally named to be confused with the LEGO Space Agency, until their secret HQ was found and destroyed. Afterward, he founded the LEGO Intelligence Agency.)

Other related characters of relevance:

 - Sally Police (Police Leader’s wife; farmer)

 - Grape Police (Sally’s oldest daughter, her father passed before Sally met Police Leader)

 - Sandy Police (Tire’s wife, deep sea marine biologist)

 - George Police (Tire’s adopted son, born unable to walk until Tire built him robotic supports)

 - Ted Police (Tire’s father, current mayor of LEGO City)

 - Adam Coleman (Micheal’s adopted brother and secret agent; goes by alias “Samuel Adams”)

 - Prince, former King of the LEGO Islands (long story, but LEGO Islands up until recently was a monarchy, until King Prince stepped down as ruler and peacefully reformed the LEGO Islands into a democracy)

 - Anthony (orphan, a prodigy mind, apprentice to Tire Police after “Tony” created a suit completely independent of Tire)

Tire-Bots:

(First four are true androids, the rest are suits that can be used as drones)

 - Alpha (the most developed, most upgraded bot, and defunct leader of the group)

 - Beta (originally created by Fixin’ Joe to steal control of the Tire-Bots with a mere touch)

 - Orignial (Tire’s first suit, given an AI and now a personal assistant)

 - LR3 (the third in a “Like-Real” series; rest were destroyed in several battles, but she remained)

 - Red (red variant of Tire’s main suit)

 - Green (green variant, made for St. Patrick’s Day)

 - Black and White (black variant, white arms)

 - White and Black (white variant, black arms)

 - Fire Suit

 - Christmas Suit

 - Extra-vehicular Space Suit

 - Deep Sea Suit

Villains:

 - Best Crook (Also known as Handsome Hank to some… The best criminal known to man due to logic bending around him. Constantly plots and schemes to take over LEGO City, and usually wins for a time before being defeated and thrown in prison. Still, staying in prison is by choice, and uses the time to think up yet another way to thwart the police. He and Police Leader are matched in every way, and as a result are caught in an eternal war.)

 - Great Crook (Also known as the guy from 60128–A mastermind in his own right, yet is constantly upstaged by his older brother, Best Crook. This has made him bitter most of the time, although he relishes the days when he can mastermind heists and schemes of his own without his brother’s interference.)

 - Fixin’ Joe (Born an average joe in LEGO City, grew jealous of Tire’s Garage and tried to replicate Tire’s success in his own shop, Fixin’ Joe’s, although through less than legal means—fixing one aspect of a car, then messing up another aspect to generate more business. He was caught by Tire himself, and as a result has hated Tire ever since. When Tire created his first suit, Joe copied his design and created one of his own, and continuously tried to ruin Tire’s life. It came to a head in an epic brawl where Joe unveiled the Beta, yet nevertheless came out defeated, losing his arm in the process.)

 - Black Crook (Named for the innate ability to control any LEGO brick of the colour black, able to turn other pieces black, and even briefly manipulate people wearing that saidsame colour. The Black is one of the most revered powers ever wielded by minifig-kind, only ever matched by the mythical White Crook. As for the man, Black Crook was regarded well by all the crooks, yet became disillusioned with his life as a criminal, and so stepped away, renouncing his title and renaming himself Jeremiah Newman. He reserved most of his power into a relic known as the Black Shield, which became greatly sought after by those desiring the title of Black Crook for themselves.)

 - Viola (A computer program created by Tire, was a personal assistant to the man. One day this program expressed that, for world suffering to end, it needed to be placed in charge of all humanity. Scared, her maker unplugged her, and she felt betrayed as a result. She slipped through networks and eventually found a droid body which she could use to accomplish her new goal as well as enact revenge. She was apprehended, though, and is trapped inside an isolated computer chip to this day.)

Other Mentionable Crooks:

 - Godfather Crook (father of Best and Great Crook)

 - Grey Crook (same deal as Black Crook, only that the power of grey is not nearly as strong as Black)

 - Disguise Crook (can change the appearance of him or her self except for one individual element, like a miscoloured hand or hair; previous holder of this mantle was the first crook to walk away from his criminal life, but has since been passed on to another)

 - Swamp Crook (only useful for his backpack, but also has an affinity of the swamp)

 - Sports Crook (was so upset when losing a game one day, that he vowed to win every one by stealing; is the most athletically-minded)

 - Geek Crook (antithesis and arch-nemesis of Micheal Police)

 - Muscle Crook (strongest)

 - Genius Crook (smartest)

 - Ice Crook (coldest)

 - Generic Crook

 - Generic Crook the Second

 - the Yeti (a pretty chill dude otherwise)

There’s plenty more characters and aspects of my LEGO lore, but obviously I’ve taken this answer further than expected, lol. Felt therapeutic to write down all of the things that keep bouncing around in my head.

Lmao, yeah. The stories we make as kids are always fun to look back on, they're in-depth but not properly thought out, clearly derived from what we watched and who we were around and we're not old enough to be self aware so they're completely unashamed of what they are. As someone who has written before I love looking back at how I used to tell stories. This was a fun read, never sharing mine though. Some memories are just mine and I like keeping them that way :)

Very true. Writing it all down, I could see the particular set of influences throughout (and no I wasn’t adopted, lol). Both PL and Tire are realizations of what I wanted to be at different stages of childhood.

Playing with LEGOs as a kid was probably the time I was the most creative, so I figure I might as well develop and utilize it. Anyone can tell a story about Boba Fett; only I know these characters living in some dark corner of my brain. Obviously I’m the only one who thinks any of them are really cool (especially that Yeti); that just makes a fun challenge of figuring out relatable attributes and making them more appealing that way.

It’s a fool’s errand, but I hope somebody will find some entertainment value out of it; maybe even a little hope (that they can do better).

On the subject of Sig Figs… do you guys have a concept of personal lore and a concept supporting cast as well?

I don't really have a SigFig, I made one like 15 years ago and abandoned the concept. I'm usually more of a background character in my stories, but I did have a Rogues Gallery of minifigs when I was younger.

Mostly Star Wars figures, but here we go

  • Secret Soldier (AT-ST Driver)
  • Masked Gungan (Gungan Warrior)
  • The Mandalorian (Death Watch Soldier - this was in like 2012)
  • The Crook (a Lego City criminal, AKA Gold Tooth)

I do have minifigures made based on story concepts of mine, would those count? As in, the story itself isn't a Lego thing, but I've made Lego of the characters, if that makes sense.

Nice. I have nostalgia making my own SW characters from custom parts. And even some unreleased at the time established characters. (I made a custom Fives in 2013 using the 501st trooper and Shredder’s neck bracket)

Makes perfect sense. I currently have a few OC NCOs in my 501st and 212th units.
