Like @F1stzz has mentioned, you need to submit your vote in the official voting topic.

Also, for your vote to be valid, you also need to vote for entries in the Mini Set category.

Yesterday a couple of accs were registered within a difference of an hour & have posted their votes on this forum literally 30 minutes apart from each other  6 hours ago another fresh Eurobricks acc was created & immediately went straight to voting. I should also mention the fact that all of these suspicious accounts have stated Hungary as their home country — by a coincidence, MyFirstMOC is also Hungarian. It makes me wonder if these are his fellows or Insta followers, or... IYKYK  Gotta see if @Akdouble has anything to say about it

I smell obvious shennanigans. The question is, why would he do it? His entries are trully amazing, and he would have won without cheating. Then again, as we all remember, it was because of his entry I quit the contest, because he got gratitious help in editing his pictures. Maybe it wasn't necssarilly MyFirstMOC, but someone living with him, and sharing a computer has done it, without MyFirstMOC's knowledge, yet again giving unsolicited help. Either way, unless we get an explanation, I think he still should be disqualified.

To be honest, it didn't look like he was about to win at any point from the moment voting started, tho of course it could change, there's still time and he did receive some legit points, but i thought he would do much better when the contest started, since he did bomb us with his great entries. He was among my own favorites initialy too, tho, luckily or not, it became more and more interesting as the whole show proceeded.

MyFirstMOC has nothing to do with you quitting the contest, it was Danny_Boy4's "Enchanted Island" that caused some drama

I would say that nothing really needs to be done unless MyFirstMOC - Hun wins or comes close to winning the contest.  While a lot of their stuff is nice, it's nowhere near the best in the contest, and it's not all even originally theirs. If they do win, that's a bit fishy, and if some of the votes cast were from the same IP as the user in question...well...that seems like reason enough to disqualify them.  I don't know if Eurobricks has access to browser user agents, but if they are the same and from the same IP, that would be a real smoking gun.

In future contests, shouldn't voting be restricted to accounts created before the contest is announced?  Or accounts with 10+ meaningful posts?  Or something along those lines?

That's what I've pointed out before the voting started and it's a common rule if not even in the general guidelines of eurobricks contests rules. Seems though that the Pirates subforum was always an exception with the voting for yourself and what not ... anyway, I agree if the entry in question does not get the prize I guess no action is needed. Still it'd be nice to get some explanation from any of the accounts in question for any further competitions around here!

Seeing as none of those Hungarian accounts or MyFirstMOC have commented or provided any explanation after many people have voiced their concerns I think it's safe to say they did in fact cheat to get more votes.

Now one could argue no action is required since MyFirstMOC likely isn't going to win anything since the winners are pretty clear at this point. But I think action should be taken on principle alone since legitimate voters picked at least one of MyFirstMOC's entries and that isn't fair to the other participants who didn't resort to cheating just to get more votes.

The voting results say otherwise.  Even with these allegedly fraudulent votes, he's not been advantaged in the slightest.
