Could Simpsons line of Minifigure series or Sets return?

The big issue with the house is that it needs to be pink on the inside to not suck for fans these days in terms of accuracy, but then it wont have the appeal to generic City builders, who would get the house and sell the figures like in 2014

I’m really disappointed that they’re still using red for Bart and Lisa. That reddish orange color they just introduced last year is far more accurate.

Does anybody know, if the living room gwp really uses prints? If so, could it be the indicator for a new house? like the Fellbeast wings were reused for the Balrog.

Pretty sure it uses prints but the yellow box GWPs often include exclusive prints ( taxi prints for the Avengers Tower, cerebro stuff for the X-Mansion and so on) I don't think that would mean anything.

That said I think a house isn't too unlikely as it's been a while and it is the big main thing to do. I'm sure Marge and Maggie will be made again soon either way.

All I want to see though, is Seymour and Chalmers so I can make a steamed hams diorama!

Ok, then I should get the gwp.

I am not sure about the house. It would Requiem 2 rows of bricks to make it pink inside. In tan it just does not look good.

There is a little bubbleheadline with simpsons heads. You can just pull Skinners head of and use it for Lego. Looks perfect. Sadly they don't have Chalmers.

What do people think the likelihood of a Moe’s Tavern is?  I think given the use of bars in Lego now it’s quite a high possibility personally.

Where is lego using bars? I doubt it and I don´t care to be honest. Made a Moc with dozens of custom prints and resin printed head pieces.

I expect an Android´s dungeon.

They said in the past they wouldn't include stuff that deals with murder and yet we have gotten Cal kestis and Sideshow bob as figures, both controversial figures in their own right tbh

Cal Kestis is a crazy person to single out for "dealing with murder". Lego has made literally hundreds of figures of characters who kill people, including ones in a much less sci-fi fashion- it's not the same thing as a bar.

At the end of the day lego's rules on violence have always been much less strict than those on alcohol, langauge, sexual innuendo, etc. I'm sure if the theme continues they'll find a way to get Moe into a set, but we aren't going to see a product labeled "Moe's Bar", nor do I think it's likely we'll see a depiction of a bar.

I watched every single Simpsons episode up to Season 30 and took notes/ made screenshots for eastereggs to include in my Moes Tavern Moc. The amount of child friendly gags you could reference as eastereggs is much smaller than for example in the Krusty Burger.

They aren't LEGO though.  Yes, it is possible to MOC a building but for most people, producing printed parts and 3D resin printed heads at home to go with it is not possible.  Even if LEGO want to stay away from alcohol, they could do Moe and Barney in other situations.

…huh? What‘s wrong with Cal? How was his inclusion controversial?  Same for Sideshow Bob who never even actually succeeds with his schemes. We have many many mass murderers and serial killers in minifig form, one of which even got a Duplo figure, so these two are harmless in comparison.

That said, I think Moe‘s Tavern is still unlikely, but Moe himself might show up in a set further down the line as the Krusty
Burger surely isn‘t a one-off. I think the next set will be either a remake of the Simpsons house or the school. Speaking of which, I feel bad for the Ideas designer, but that sorta thing happens from time to time  Unfortunate timing!

Indeed, when you have Darth Vader, Palpatine, Tarkin, the Joker, Galactus, etc., Sideshow Bob failing to kill anyone (aside from that one Treehouse of Horror episode) is nothing.

I'm hoping that they do Moe and Barney (and Lenny and Carl) in non-bar situations as well as Homer in more variations of clothes in future. If they do a set with parts based on Mr Plough, or Pin Pals, or Be Sharps, or Homer and Barney as astronauts, or Homer's workstation, etc., there is plenty of scope to introduce the bar characters.

Hehe, We wanted the Jedi Survivor Mantis crew and ship with Cal and they said no way because of the game lol. In all reality the existence of Cal is a slap on the face because it feels like they can do it but don't want to. Lego online deliveries has been slacking, they still haven't shipped out my burger set, to be honest they tied me down with the backlog of lego rewards codes I have to use lol.

Depending on how well the LEGO Icons Krusty Burger set sells, let’s hope so!

I’m pretty sure they didn’t reacquire the license just for a one-off set. Like LotR, it could become an Icons subtheme with one set a year!  Hopefully, the same goes for PotC and Star Trek too! So much potential

Honestly, I was astonished that they did a Krusty Burger and not a remake of the Simpsons house or Kwik-E-Mart, both of which are far more iconic and it's been a long time, so a huge potential audience with all the 18+ Adults Welcome of the last few years.

Another set would likely be the Android's Dungeon or the School, but we all really want Moe's tavern.

I am not sure. I have both of them. The house is a product of it's time. It was a closed up house. People bought it and sold off the figures, if they were no Simpsons fans. For legos standard in terms of detail it was fine for fans with tan walls on the inside. If lego wants to make a good simpson house today, they need to make it with 2 rows of bricks, so it is pink on the inside. I think it would be too expensive or suck per se. Also the Afols, who are not into simpsons would probably dislike the colour on the inside. The kwik-e-mart is perfect to ths day except for the use of stickers.

The krusty burger had 10.000 ideal votes twice. The old fans did not have it, the new fans did not have it. Average Afols without interest in the show could use a cute fast food restaurant selling off the figs. For a save quick cash grab I would have put it out, too and give us the Comic book store next.

They redid Bag End, bigger and more expensive than the original for new fans and older ones that want a bigger set.  I wouldn't rule out redoing the Simpsons house to cater for new fans.
