The "19th figure" was Moana who was revealed to be in a set, not connected to the CMF.

However a leaker on this site did imply Belle and Gaston are in a set.

So it's really not a 19th figure in that sense then. A pity the Maleficent set doesn't feature some sort of tower that could include a sleeping Aurora in her blue dress.

The lack of the Beast is definitely going to feel like a missed opportunity. I'm assuming this Belle will be village Belle which will seem even stranger next to Aurora in her formal princess gown. Even more reason to have given us Briar Rose instead.

So, promobricks said on their instagram stories that there’s at least another remaining princess right after the cmf lineup story (they didn’t specify where this last one would come in) The CMF wouldn’t make sense as that would sum up to a total of 19 figures🙃

Didn't the wording also include something about being a 19th figure or was that something that was misconstrued?

Scrolled back and that appears to be the earliest post on this thread.

The initial Evil Queen leak doesn’t seem to be ‘finished’, some printing seems to be missing when you compare it to the one on the leaflet ( albeit a poor quality image ) the face also looks different .. and I doubt she’ll have a double sided head as the back could be visible

I thought the same thing, but unfortunately it just seems to be the better quality in the renders + better lighting.

Now that I’m over the initial euphoria, I want to say I’m disappointed in the lack of tail in Robin hood (unless it’s hidden very well which wouldn’t make sense given the size)

Pinoccio’s eyes have no business being so distant from each other.

Not a fan of Jiminy Cricket’s eyes but as a hater of over simplified generic faces, I’ll take it.

That gets me to Aurora, I hate the regular cmf looking face and chicken eyes. Even I could’ve done a better job. I fear the same for Mulan.

All in all a great series either way.

When list of characters first leaked some time back, someone posted on here that there would be "another princess". I cannot remember if that was the right wording. Many took it to mean that it was Moana being a new minifig we have not had before. Some interpreted it to mean there would be a chase figure.

oh right yea i rememebr that. kinda a stretch to assume its both when its pretty likely they were just talking abt moana.

Pocahontas, as much as I'm amazed Lego actually went there, her face is too cutesy. I don't understand why some characters can have a face resembling the original cartoon style like Queen of Hearts here or Hades in series 2, while others have normal Lego faces. Dear Lego designers, please be more consistent!

Exactly how I feel. We should definitely answer the surveys on the back of the instructions every time we buy a lego set and tell them this. I don’t know why it bugs me so much but cutesy grinny faces are horrid, leave those to generic lego themes where likenesses are irrelevant.

I was under the impression this series would be with boxes. I am so incredibly excited to see they’re in bags! Marvel series 2 may be boxes but those will probably be MCU/Disney Plus themed anyways so I don’t mind. I’m shocked to see people are commenting on social media that this series looks bootleg or underwhelming. To each their own but Lego set a trend since Series 1 of not making unique moulded heads for a lot of the human cartoons and instead opted to stylize the face print. If anything, I think this series did the best job of replicating the animated styles of each character. Queen of Hearts and Cruella namely look very accurate and of the era they were originally animated in. I think this is the best of all 3 Disney collectible figure series and 1/2 were incredible. Thoughts:

• Oswald - didn’t know how bad I would need this character. He looks sort of creepy but also very retro so job well done. I’d like to see some Halloween Lego photography of him, I could see him giving some kids nightmares. But in like the best way possible.

• Pinocchio - is that a molded nose/ new head mold? If so we won. Fish in the bowl is the best accessory I could think of for him. Pinocchio was my favorite Disney movie as a kid so this figure is a must have. The whole series really but wow.

• Jiminy cricket - kind of weird seeing him as a figure but we got Tinkerbell before so I guess it makes sense. Face print is another example of a non molded head in this series that really encapsulates the artistic style the character was originally animated in.

• Wizard Mickey - I still hate how Mickey and Minnie have full sized legs. Like really not even mid sized legs? I’m sort of growing impatient with it but otherwise the figure is fine. Not a favorite for sure.

• Tiana - it’s funny how I always wanted figures of the Disney princesses but somehow I still want the mini dolls as well. Think of it as a variant. Her dress is beautifully printed excited to add her to the collection.

• Dr Facilier - honestly the one playing card is kind of underwhelming. I get it, but for some reason wanted him to have a new mold for an entire deck spread open. Like obviously a singular mold so you wouldn’t be able to take the individual card out but like a new mold for a deck of cards spread like in the form of a magician offering an audience member to pick a card would have been so useful. For Lego magicians, Gambit, and Facilier. Maybe I’m overthinking it but he underwhelmed me.

• Queen of Hearts - love the face print. Love the poofy dress and the fact that Lego already had it in production so its not considered a new mold and they were able to sculpt her hair. More Alice in Wonderland characters please.

• Aurora - not the hair mold I was expecting but she looks great. And again, the Owl looks straight out of the movie. Almost more excited for the owl than her.

• Mulan - okay not loving this face print. The print is interesting because it leaves open the possibility of a set having her classic green dress. Well, green blue and yellow but whatever. The cricket accessory is really fun.

• Ernesto De La Cruz - don’t spoil coco I haven’t seen it yet. I think he’s a douche though? Don’t tell me. Anyways his print is really well done.

• Miguel - really like this figure. Haven’t seen the movie so won’t comment on the dogs accuracy just yet.

• Pocahontas - mixed feelings about hair molds that are blowing in the wind in general. Similar to the vidiyo candy mermaid I feel the hair can look kind of ridiculous in normal contexts seeing as they usually look like the only one with this effect. So its like is the wind only blowing on her? Lol her print is incredible though, the leaves in her hair are excellent. She’s one of my favorites this series but they’re all so good.

• Cruella Deville - you know its been ages since you’ve seen 101 Dalmatians that you genuinely can’t remember if she’s based off the live action 80’s (?) movie or the cartoon. Pretty sure its the cartoon and she looks great but somehow the Dalmatian pup steals her thunder. But isn’t that quite fitting? Lol might have to get 101 bags of this one.

• Robin Hood - I want this figure so bad and I never would have demanded him otherwise. I don’t even know if I ever finished the entire movie as a kid because I was so young when I saw it. But wow he is so well done.

• Prince John - the fact that I was inclined to call him King George before checking the list of names proves how long its been since I saw Robin Hood. What’s funny is he may be my favorite of the series overall. He has such a classic Disney animated look to him they did an outstanding job. It makes me want to go watch the movie again. And kind of sad to remember now I no longer have the VHS of it.

• Stich - I love the new print and I actually really want a set with Lilo, Nani, and the house now that I think about it. So cute.

• Baymax - so I guess I don’t mind him. But I’m not thrilled. His whole character design is that he’s poofy and bouncy and this figure doesn’t really encapsulate that for me. If they wanted to make a new mould for him, instead of just the arms, a new torso entirely or a piece that fits over sort of like a neck piece would have been better imo. I don’t really have a good point of reference for what I’m envisioning at the moment, but if they could have somehow did a singular new torso piece with the new poofy arms attached that would have been great. Idk he just looks kind of off to me.

• Evil Queen - love the mirror and she looks great. Hope the old lady version of her is included with the supposed Snow White cottage coming out.

overall my favorite and the best way to say goodbye to plastic bags. I hope the boxes have codes or something because I’m not going to spend my entire paycheck trying to get a specific character. Also just gonna say the train is cute, Moana was executed well but her legs seem to not match her skin tone. Also Tinker Bells face print is kind of ugly but the wings are perfect so there’s that. Not mad at Peter Pan being bland, I paid for a CMF of him and I’m glad they didn’t just put that exact figure in a set years later because that would have kind of devalued the original. But thats also subjective and other people may argue with time passing it’d be nice to get access to designs like that which you may have missed out on. Mickey and Minnie are too tall. That is all.

I don't mind the hair blowing. I guess you can interchange it with another regular long hair, perhaps this one:

It would be cool if we could adjust the nose of Pinocchio. Make it longer and shorter, or just replace it with other lego stuff, just to have fun with it.
My favorite Pinocchio is the one illustrated by Jacovitti, so instead of the goldfish i rather had a salami sausage with feet to go with it. Even though it’s not Disney at all :-)

The July D2C is something that hasn’t been leaked yet. It comes with figures but is not minifig scale.

Where is this info coming from?

I find it so weird that after 3 series of minifigures+ sets we still have no Snow White (I know the cottage leaked),Beauty and the beast, tangled, sword in the stone,Cinderella figures. Overall I like this new series ESPECIALLY Robin Hood and Oswald!

Man, I want to love Baymax but he just does not work as a minifig. I'm still getting him but they needed to at least give him a "belly" piece, like a new mold that goes over the whole torso like Chewbacca. The arms are at least a nice touch and I like his little charging station.

From me, but I had it mixed up with another set that is coming for Disney so disregard my comment.

I guess the knee jerk reaction is to assume that the 4800+ piece set is the Disneyland (sleeping beauty) castle but that’d put it almost 1000 pieces larger than the Disney World (Cinderella) castle which would seem odd due to the drastic real-life size difference between the 2.

could it be they do a “new” Disney World castle and include Cinderella this time?

I think it would irritate a lot of people if it was basically the same set but with a little extra more plus a new minifigure or too. Very few people will feel inclined to repurchase the set even for Cinderella.

I was thinking it could have part of main street or even like the statue of walt and mickey

Oh I don’t disagree BUT they will have no problem selling the set with Disney enthusiasts and all the LEGO fans who missed out on the initial castle. Keep in mind it has gone through a pretty substantial makeover with the new colors. It’s just hard to see how the Disneyland castle can have a ~25% larger piece count. And it would allow for Cinderella to be addressed (and be exclusive)

agreed, that would really be the only way I could see the Disneyland castle having such a higher piece count. I’d love to get a partial Main Street build

So excited to see the leaked bag and flyer!

My 2 cents on each figure:

• Oswald - A fun nod to Disney history--the figure looks to be in-line with previously released Mickey and friends figures which is fine by me!

• Pinocchio - He looks great! It's a little weird that they've added a nose, but I guess it makes sense given that his nose features prominently in the story! I'm curious to see if the hat/hair is attached to the head.

• Jiminy Cricket - Another great figure, even if it's a little strange that he is the same size as Pinocchio.

• Sorcerer Mickey - Honestly, this one looks fantastic to me. It's such an iconic look for the character, and they captured it really well.

• Tiana - It's hard to make out some of details, but the printing looks great. The traditional slope piece looks a little weird IMO but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

• Dr. Facilier - This one translates really well to minifigure form, IMO. I'm excited to add him to the growing villains collection!

• Queen of Hearts - She's perfectly executed! I know she's the only Wonderland character in this series, but I'm glad they included her to go along with Alice!

• Aurora - It's a little odd that they included an owl, given that she doesn't interact with any animals while wearing this particular dress, but both her and the owl look fantastic, and I know my kids will be excited to get another princess minifigure.

• Mulan - Mulan rarely wears this particular costume in promotional materials, but she looks great! It's too bad that Mushu wasn't included. If Cheshire Cat can be adapted to minifigure form, I feel like Mushu could have worked as well.

• Ernesto De La Cruz - I would have preferred Hector instead of Ernesto, but the figure looks great so far--I can't wait for a closer look at that guitar!

• Miguel - Honestly, I think this was a great way to capture Dante, even if the mold isn't the perfect fit. I'm so glad they decided to include characters from this movie!

• Pocahontas - This one is unexpectedly great! The "colors of the wind" is a nice touch.

• Cruella Deville - The "cloak" piece definitely makes her look more complete. The inclusion of the puppy is the cherry on top. Can't wait to get this one!

• Robin Hood - He looks fantastic! Robin Hood is such an underrated Disney film IMO.

• Prince John - Not gonna lie, I kind of wish this spot had gone to a different character--they could have included Robin without him. But still, he looks well done.

• Stitch - I adore this character, but I feel like his inclusion here was unnecessary since we got him in the first series. Plus, the antennae are just as significant to his alien form as the extra arms are. This spot should have gone to Lilo--especially since she would be pretty easy to create from existing parts.

• Baymax - I'm curious to get a closer look at his arms. He's definitely one of the weaker entries here, but I don't think he's bad.

• Evil Queen - Another perfectly executed figure--and I love that they included the mirror! I'll be really annoyed if we don't get Snow White pretty soon though.

In all, this is my favorite Disney CMF series so far--a great mix of iconic characters (Sorcerer Mickey, Cruella) and characters that don't tend to get a lot of merch (Oswald, Robin Hood). I also like the variety of eras represented here--everything from early Disney to *fairly* recent Disney. Pinocchio and Cruella are must-haves for me, but I know my kids are going to want most of these characters.

I'm excited that LEGO seems to be upping their budget for their Disney line--hopefully there will be more surprises later this year!
