Sokolov Edward Posted September 15 Posted September 15 In the summer, a scan of the instructions for the C61507 crane was published. I found the model interesting and decided to assemble it myself. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The model contains a lot of "brickwork", but this did not make it impressive enough to be placed on a shelf. The model can be motorized, but not fully - you will have to set the switches on the model manually to change the control modes. I also jammed the lowering of the retractable supports, but this became clear after the end of the assembly - for complex models, it would be nice to add additional steps to the instructions for checking the mechanisms during the assembly process. I also assembled the C61082 excavator myself according to the instructions from the official site. Despite the absence of the name of any famous craftsman in the credits of the model, the model turned out to be very successful. The model has a minimum of "brickwork" - most of it is on the driver's seat. The design contains an interesting junction box in the tower with the ability to manually or fully remotely control all functions of the model - movement and boom with a bucket (3 L-motors PF and 1 micro-motor). The model of 1700 parts uses more than 110 gears. Among the surprises of the kit for me were the 9x15 frames and a large number of modified beams, including those with pins at the ends. Solving the problems with missing parts made the assembly even more interesting. Quote
R0Sch Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Looks gorgeous in dark blue! The only thing that is questionable is the source of the leak. Can't find anything on the internet about this set. Quote

I saw the completed renders almost 2 years ago when I was talking to the designer about CaDA related stuff. It’s great to see it finally get close to being on sale. That’s all I’ll say for now, I’ll wait for more official info to come out. But it’s definitely a great looking model! Quote

It looks good and I like the blue, for me the Lotus missed the mark in terms of looks, so that's a positive. I can't help but wonder whatever happened to the GT3 Mercedes that was supposed to be coming soon??? Quote

Tonzy Posted September 23 Posted September 23 Feel like an r8 has to be coming eventually. They did a speedchampion and a small technic model Quote
T Lego Posted September 24 Posted September 24 (edited) Just to confirm and avoid any misinformation, the Audi RS6 is my next design for the CaDa Master series. Unfortunately I cannot share more information about it at this stage and I was surpised to see this seemingly leaked image. The licencing has caused many delays, as with Bruno's AMG ONE back in the day, but hopefully I can share more details about the set later this year. sm1995 Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Dang, this might be the year I finally buy a CADA set. So many enticing offerings, and the RS6 is a breath of fresh air after seeing so many supercars Quote
R0Sch Posted September 26 Posted September 26 @T Lego Really cool, that you're it's creator. Thanks for confirmation, even though it must be frustrating to have it revealed via a leaked image. While the Lotus doesn't entice me that much, at least not at that price tag, an Audi RS6 is much closer to reality and "home", so a must buy for the 1:8 collection. Really glad DoubleE is not just focused on unaffordable hypercars like TLG and picks cool licenses and models which do not intersect with the Danes too much. @Sokolov Edward Thanks for the recommendation on C61082. I bought it this week second had including motorization for 100€. I just have to replace two gears because the previous owner damaged them, so half the gearbox functions did not work. Hope CaDA can send me those for free. But I finished the undercarriage and it was a really fun build. So many unique and useful pieces. Wish we could order CaDA parts like on Bricks & Pieces. Btw, I'm currently waiting for the Hayabusa and Space Shuttle Discovery to arrive next week. I'll post a pictorial review here once I built the motorcycle. Quote

The set itself is a good collection of CADA parts. I hope you noticed that their custom parts often replicate standard parts, and the additional elements of these parts are rarely used. Modified beams and beams with pins similar to those for CADA are available on AliExpress. Quote

In Russia, there's a separate website, aliexpress.ru, but judging by a Google search, the same suppliers are used globally. Try searching for "Leduo 1x9 1x11". Quote

Sizzus Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Was doing some digging on the upcoming CaDa Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo and bumped into this store site that seem to have way more detail on the set... This set is going to be something we haven't seen before!!! It also mentions that the set is due mid/end of November. Also, an exhibition will be taking place 15 - 17 October 2025 in Shanghai and CaDa will be present, with the invitation showing the GT3 as well. And, last but no least, found a bunch of photos on the DoubleE_CaDA TikTok channel, but these seem to only be visible on the China version of TikTok called Douyin. https://www.hiroboy.com/18_MercedesAMG_GT3_5466_pcs_Bricks_Kit--product--18298.html Quote

Remote Control Motorised unit - chassis based car model Includes the following pieces: 1 pcs of JV9091 building block USB adapter 5 pcs of JV3072 building block LED light module 2 pcs of JV9080 expansion dock 4 pcs of JV9047 2x7 hydraulic cylinder 1 pcs of JV9054 manual booster pump 1 pcs of JV9048 pneumatic control valve Quote
Sizzus Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Uploaded the pictures on reddit in r/CadaBrick, check them out below. Quote
Tonzy Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Wonder what "Motorised unit - chassis based car model" means... are they ditching individuale motors in favour of something like the lego revuelto or porsche? With 5.4k pieces this will be a heavy model, if they actually manage to lift it using pneumatics it would be extremely impressive Quote
blondasek Posted October 7 Posted October 7 So it happened much faster than anticipated, this set's price will be on pair with Lego 1:8 Technic cars. Sure, it has more pieces, motors, pneumatics, etc. - but the price leverage is gone. COBI has also very big and heavy models (Tiger I and upcoming Tiger II, over 8k and 11k pieces, 6.5 and over 8 kilo respectively) and it is nice to see CaDa is pushing the boundaries, but I doubt that model after a year on the shelve if nothing is supporting the chassis from the bottom, will work :D Crazy times. MarkyMark42 Posted October 7 Posted October 7 (edited) For us Aussie customers, CaDA's prices are already high from what I've found. I would have liked the Sauber F1 to go with the rest of my collection but I couldn't justify the extra $100 above the Lego equivalent In saying that, I'm very interested in the GT3 merc and may just force myself to get it at some point Edited October 7 by MarkyMark42 Quote

R0Sch Posted October 12 Posted October 12 I got to buy the R5. It was the family car for many years. CaDA again outpacing LEGO even on the 1:24 scale cars with cool official licenses and fully printed decorations. Quote

Pantasy also is outpacing lego in many areas;). Quote
