nerdsforprez Posted May 26 Posted May 26 Forgive me for not being up to speed with all the changes to the Cada site and availability of sets. I was looking just the other day and saw that @efferman's army crane and other sets are no longer available. This was a very short run if it truly is no longer available. What is the story for so many of their sets disappearing from their lineup? Quote
efferman Posted May 26 Posted May 26 Probably the werent sold good enough. The sets iam actually working on will running better. Quote

What is the story for so many of their sets disappearing from their lineup? Noticed that too. The Mazda RX-7 is also gone. Why not simply sell at a lower price to drive up demand? I was just waiting for the next promotion to place a larger order. 6% will not get me to do it. :( Guess it's back to buying second hand sets if CaDA has such a bad availability and doesn't announce in advance when things go EOL. Hasn’t it been gone for close to a year? I have noticed that sets disappear from the CaDA site sometimes when they are out of stock and then reappear later. Edited May 26 by CastAStone Quote
T Lego Posted May 27 Posted May 27 My LaFerrari/viva Hypercar is still being produced, but they had to remove it from their own website after a threat from Ferrari's lawyers. So sets being removed from CaDa's website doesn't necessarily mean they are out of production. That being said, the factory currently can't keep up with current demand so it could be that they had to prioritize some sets over others. Expansion is on the horizon. Quote

So the issue isn't that they aren't selling, but that they're selling too much and Cada are building a bigger factory. Otherwise there might be a secondary market opening up. Quote
CastAStone Posted May 28 Posted May 28 That tracks, having seen the AMG GT3 out of stock pretty much continuously the first 6 months after launch. Quote
Auroralampinen Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Here is a polish review for the claas telehandler:). Quote
anomalocaris92 Posted June 3 Posted June 3 This telehandler seems like the most "technical" of those three mini Claas sets. I could buy it as a gift for my father, he likes small technical builds :) Quote
R0Sch Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Disappointing functions, but at least it isn't advertised as a "Technic" set. Could have at least used tractor tires on the largest wheels. They are available in the big Class Dominator after all... Quote

LvdH Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Bruno has denied that statement, as Tlego replied under a FB post in the official CaDA group: Quote I spoke to the designer Bruno yesterday, and he said the article is wrong. According to him, it was rather an issue with Freakware who most likely won't be getting any stock for this set, but as they are not the general importer in Europe it should have no consquences. I would wait for an official statement from CaDA Bricks before drawing any conclusions. Quote

JesseNight Posted June 7 Posted June 7 Where do people based in the EU usually order their CaDA sets from? I'm looking for a reliable EU based seller so it isn't gonna cost me a fortune on tariffs and taxes. If I order from CaDA directly, do they have an EU warehouse or are the sets shipped directly from China? Quote

I can't speak for all EU countries, but I for one always buy from CaDA directly due to free shipping and no additional import taxes (they ship through a EU distributor) or from freakware or from eBay (sh or new sets). The latter is based in DE. Quote

I have 3 new small CLAAS sets and just built this one last week. It looks great, except there're a few things I don't like: • Just 4 small spare parts for 450-part set, I built LEGO 60498 tractor a couple of weeks ago, it has about 10 or more spare parts for 204-part set. CaDA should be more generous. • There're several steps which should use bushes to fill the gaps or keep parts aligned e.g. A5, A22, A53, A98. They're design flaws. It looks like CaDA try to save every tiny part. • Rear tires is huge disappointed, they're truck tires not tractor tires. Look at LEGO tractors, CaDA has several CLAAS tractors now and they need real tractor tires • And steering is kidding, you can hardly see front wheels moving :) - And one more thing I just fixed this morning, driver seat is buried in the floor (don't know how someone can drive it? :D), I made it one brick higher. I love these CLAAS sets but CaDA makes it look cheaper by "stealing" a few small parts :( Edited Monday at 03:39 AM by nintiendo Add image Quote

I'd give the edge to CADA here, though - unlike the "John Deere 9700", at least the Arion model actually looks like the real thing. Quote

Plus, the CaDA RRP is 30% lower than the LEGO one. Quote
