All good ideas! The potential is very clearly there. Throw in a CIS Landing Craft and a Jabba’s Palace to that list.

I would also love to see a 14+ Republic Frigate, around 1250 pcs for £160 or so. My Venator lineup could work here instead. I’m less confident of seeing a TPM remake, and I did not like how they did the colour for the Coruscant Gunship. I still think a remake is very much needed, though.

 

@CloneCommando99, I love your £8.99 ideas! I would actually pay £14.99 for them. I also like that you’ve got 3 x 14+ sets that actually feel like 14+ (Imperial Shuttle is good this year, but not 14+ good scale wise). The Adelfi Output is a great idea and shows there’s plenty of new minifigure options. If only 14+ came earlier, because the Fondor would have been perfect. I can’t see Andor being relevant any more unlike Mando and the Offworld Sandcrawler.

Think there’s a space for all these. It’s really a shame that LSW didn’t go all in on the TV shows, especially the ones tailored to children! 

I am still at a complete loss why TK troopers have not yet currently appeared.

I would be shocked if Vader, Grievous, and at least one clone aren't in active development.

The switch around idea is good, I think P2 cody is the clone with the most broad appeal across different ages given he was kind of the main clone in ROTS alongside of course his presence in TCW.

It increasingly seems like cartoon producers are having trouble getting kids to watch new streaming shows, but if I remember right the Maul show actually did quite well. I hope they've got some in the works here.

The more I look at the current playscale N1, the more I hate it. I certainly advocate for a new release, one that is more compact. 

I remember being obsessed with the Lander and Juggernaut ideas back in the day; I was convinced they would happen. 

The Mando Gauntlet Starfighter needs a remake, and I agree with the scale. It’s like Ahsoka’s shuttle; the downscales made them as single person fighters like an X-Wing, but they’re more than that and always will be.

Ahsoka's Shuttle is exactly what I was thinking of in that regard. Slave One is another good example. They're just too big to represent at the scale lego's been making them.

Really surprising that we haven't had any rumors of the Starhopper yet, it was fairly prominent in the marketing and would have been a good way to get those merc droids. Unfortunately with how Mando performed I'm not 100% sure that we'll be seeing it anytime soon.

 

 

Ahsoka Wave: clear favoritism on my part, but I wanted to have 3 total live action waves and Mando's the only show that would clearly deserve it's own, so Ahsoka gets promoted due to being the only other multi-season live-action show that's not aimed explicitly at adults.

$50 - Lars Homestead.  About 1.5x the size of the Ben's hut set from a few years back, includes a room based on the garage, and a second room based on the kitchen/dining room.  Includes Owen, Beru, Luke, and concept art C-3PO and R2-D2. 

$80 - Docking Bay 94.  Section of the entrance to the hangar bay, includes space on top where minifigures can be posed, plus some Mos Eisley street details in the front, specifically the door where the droids hide out.  Minifigures are Garindan, 2x Sandtroopers, a Mos Eisley alien (Snaggletooth, maybe), Han Solo, and concept art Han.

Personally, I think I’d like something a little bit more exciting than a Podracer, a TLJ X-Wing, and Solo’s Speeder, although I completely understand why you’ve gone down those routes.

My main thought process with the summer wave idea was to do a set from each movie to include the poster in (as I'm sure it was clear!), and as if this were a real wave, try to keep a variety of set sizes/prices in the wave.  I couldn't really think of anything from TLJ that'd be a sure-fire seller, so I figured an X-Wing is probably the safe route they'd go there (I was thinking of an Ach-To remake), and then I needed a mid-sized vehicle, so the Podracer made sense and I figured Shmi might entice people to buy it.  With Solo, I haven't seen the movie for a while, so I honestly don't remember a lot of the major set pieces/vehicles with the exception of the stuff that got sets the first time around - while I'd LOVE something with the transport train and Range Troopers, I can't see them ever doing a large set from Solo again, so in the hypothetical universe where this wave happens, that felt the most plausible to me.  I know we still never got a Dryden Vos figure, but I really only remember his ship which would also be a large set.

Alright. We admittedly know next to nothing about 2028 besides it being the 20th Anniversary of 2008 Clone Wars/ 25th of 2003 and likely Maul Shadow Lord S2 or even S3. There could be a movie, but unless it gets announced within the next 3 months I doubt it.

What I propose, since Clone Wars does seem to be the theme’s golden goose, are 4 Clone Wars Anniversary sets plus a few extras. Not as many as a significant anniversary, and what I’m proposing would not require as many new moulds/ prints as 2024 and 2027’s set of minifigs and are therefore more doable.

I like the idea of getting Delta squad but I doubt they'd do anniversary figs for the Clone Wars, especially when 2029 is the 30th anniversary of the theme as a whole.

I like your UCS ideas, the U-wing could really be done justice at that size. Lucrehulk with an interior would be insanely cool.

I'm surprised you left out the Tie Avenger, unless you think there's still a chance in 2027.
