Admiral Ackbar, Crix Madine, Mon Mothma, Han Solo, Lando Calrissian, Wedge Antilles, Rebel Commando. You and me both. I think the main issue with flat silver is just that not enough normal pieces exist in that color. We've seen stuff like the 2x1 curved slope in a number of sets in that color, and we've seen sets with primarily "pearl metallic" color schemes like all Lloyd's golden dragons in Ninjago. We would need some sets to get a recolor base out there, but if we could just do that, Naboo Royal Starship and the Razor Crest are on the table. Honestly, if they'd just do both the ships in the same wave, I think they'd have a good shot at covering the majority of the necessary part budget. PLEASE! That figure lineup especially reads like a dream lineup. Ackbar, Madine, Mothma, GENERAL LANDO? WEDGE? On 1/9/2026 at 7:09 PM, ArrowBricks said: Prequel smart brick set ideas - gulp. Comes with 1x A-wing pilot, 1x B-wing pilot, Ten Numb, General Lando, and a Rebel Ground Crewer. Starkiller Base Raid ($119.99): Black One, a First Order TIE Fighter (which would somehow be our first generic FO TIE), and a small snowy forest diorama. CloneCommando99 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 (edited) New Subtheme (actually decent idea that adds to the experience at no costs unlike smart play) Lego Star Wars: Galactic Conquest My idea is a LSW table top gaming subtheme which also functions as: a way for kids to get main characters, a fun game to play with friends and also a method for collectors to get new characters. Each Hero character gives their troops buffs, if put in command, (e.g. +10% speed or armour) as well as having double the health as a normal soldier. Soldiers have hit points of 20 HP, except for scouts who have 15 HP but 25% more range and movement speed. All of this enhancing the current theme and being able to fit in with regular sets unlike smart play. Basically Lego SW Legion/ Warhammer Key Starter packs all include 4 Hero/ Commander units and 4 soldiers (£74.99 mostly). All include the basic tank (TX-130, AAT, AT ST, etc,), speeder, command post and turret a player faction’s base camp will start a game with. (Base camp is where you send regular units to heal hit points, as well as Dropship evacs/ deployments if playing with different fronts) Army expansions are just normal battlepacks but with ability/ stat cards for the exclusive unit added in (£19.99) Commander/ Hero expansions include 3 characters, a small build and their ability/ stat cards (£14.99) Phase 1: the basics Rebellion Starter Pack: Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Wedge Antilles, Endor Commando and 2 Rebel Fleet Troopers Empire Starter Pack: Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Grand Admiral Thrawn, Moff Gideon, TIE Pilot, Scout Trooper and 2 Stormtroopers Light of the Jedi (Commander/ Hero Expansion): Jaro Tapal, Luminara Unduli and Master Sol Acolytes of the Sith (Commander/ Hero Expansion): Savage Oppress, Eleventh Brother and Qimir Empire Army expansion/ imperial Battlepack: 2 Stormtroopers, Scout Trooper and a Incinerator Trooper Rebel Army expansion/ Rebel Battlepack: 2 Fleet Troopers, Endor Commando and a Wookie Warrior Phase 2: expansion Republic Starter Pack: Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Captain Rex, Commander Cody, Clone Pilot, ARF Trooper and 2 Clone Troopers Separatist Starter Pack (£59.99): Count Dooku, General Grievous, Cad Bane, Admiral Trench, 1 Security B1, 1 B2 and 2 B1s Republic Army Expansion Pack: ARF Trooper, 2 Clone Troopers and a Republic Commando Separatist Army Expansion Pack (£14.99): 2 B1s, B2 and a Commando Droid Heroes of the Rebellion (Commander/ Hero Expansion): Cassian Andor, Hera Syndulla and Sabine Wren Shadows of the Empire (Commander/ Hero Expansion): Agent Kallus, Iden Versio and Captain Enoch Phase 3: Let’s get nuts Hunters and Criminals Game Expansion (£84.99): The Mandalorian, Asajj Ventress (ToTU), Fennec Shand, Darth Maul (Shadow Lord), Dengar, Bossk, 2 Maul Mandos and 2 Crayola Mandos. (Incorporates both light and dark sides of underworld) Clones of the Republic (Commander/ Hero Expansion): ARC Trooper Jesse, Commander Wolffe and Captain Gregor Separatist Leaders (Commander/ Hero Expansion): Wat Tambor, Nute Gunray and Poggle the Lesser Jedi of Legends (Commander/ Hero Expansion): Mara Jade, Kyle Katarn and Cade Skywalker Villains of Legends (Commander/ Hero Expansion): Warlord Zsinj, Darth Talon and Darth Revan Thoughts? I feel like this would work a lot better in tandem with normal sets than smart play and the starter packs could also serve as general introductions to the LSW theme. Creative idea, enjoyed reading this. I have wondered where LEGO Star Wars goes next in terms of 18+; this is certainly an option. Problem is, it requires too many sets for it to work, which move away from the traditional ethos of the theme. Quote
TheScaryDoor Posted February 14 Posted February 14 What do you think the price for the rumored UCS Executor will be? I guess something between the Death Star and the Venator. Less pieces and figures like the DS but I think at least more pieces than the Venator. And what will be the GWP? Darth Vaders Light Saber would make sense but I really would like to see the bridge with him and the bounty hunters. The figures could be part of the UCS and the GWP. Quote

ArrowBricks Posted February 19 Posted February 19 (edited) How can it be that in 2025 LSW fans were given two options to buy Jango’s Slave One: 1. £260, 2970 pcs 2. £60, 707 pcs The discrepancy in size and cost is insane. Was it greed to force more people to buy the UCS version? Was it the right decision otherwise a more expensive, but cheaper counterpart to the UCS set would have cannibalised the sales of the cash cow? Either way, this option neglects the vast majority of fans in terms of quality and affordability. A £100-£120 Slave One would have been fit for purpose. As an adult I certainly don’t want to rely on expensive UCS sets for my LEGO fix. It’s not viable in terms of space and finances. I am starting to strongly favour a minimum three-pronged release schedule for UCS sets: if a UCS set is released, there must be atleast 2 other viable alternatives released that same year, catering for both teens/adults and children. In other words, two UCS sets are being released this year. 1. Mando’s N1 - would be accompanied with an updated, better scaled and compacted N1 at around £70 and say a Smart Brick set. 2. Executor - would be accompanied by a Signatures set, and say a Microfighter. I still find it outstanding that Jabba’s Sail Barge was released for £430 after 11 years. Imagine a mid-scale and a Signatures set in that year? Perhaps the argument is that it would make the shelves look stale, but we all know it’s profit profit profit. Interested to hear thoughts. I think something like could work well actually. I like the idea of a UCS set, a “regular” set (maybe priced £80-£130), and then a microfighter/4 + type set. I think they really missed a trick there with the Sail Barge. I didn’t get the ‘06 Sail Barge and was so excited for 2013 version when it came out. A new Gunship in the standard colors is an excellent idea and would probably do better than the last few flagships (onyx cinder and evil falcon are both hitting 50% off at a lot of retailers, and I'm sure the Jugger-not is soon to join them). Plus as we normally get two flagships a year, it would allow for the release of an ANH falcon as well, our first standard OT falcon in 16 years. Petranaki's another good one. I'd like to get a UCS Tantive IV as our fall UCS set, but I wouldn't mind Petranaki as the may UCS, and as you point out it does not need a $350+ price point to be done well. I haven't done this in awhile, so I'm going to once again start giving a wishlist wave for every movie, starting with TPM. Which is always the toughest one given there's no clone/imperial/FO faction. Flash Speeder ($34.99): Flash Speeder with a Naboo Security officer, Queen Amidala, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and 2x b1 security battle droid. Naboo Starfighter vs Vulture Droid ($69.99): Comes with Anakin Skywalker, R2-D2, Padme (battle outfit), and 2x B1 battle droid. Naboo Royal Starship ($89.99): Mainly LBG with some pearl silver elements. Comes with Padme (tatooine), Ric Olie, Jar Jar, Senator Palpatine, and 2x Senate Guard Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator ($109.99): Higher price point and size than previous versions. Includes Darth Maul, Nute Gunray, Rune Haako, 2x security battle droid, and Darth Sideous. Mos Espa Podrace: Limited Edition ($199.99): Anakin, Sebulba, Gasgano, and Ben Quadrinaro's podracers alongside a build for the start/finish line. Comes with Anakin Skywalker, Sebulba, Gasgano, Ben Quadrinaros, 4x pit droids in various colors, Shmi Skywalker, Fode and Beed, Kitster, and Watto. I like all these. Bit surprised you chose a more expensive Infiltrator vs the Naboo starship, though. On 3/2/2026 at 7:57 PM, CloneCommando99 said: I absolutely would love these. I actually think they should be on the shelves at the same time, they play possibilities are through the roof. 16 hours ago, Mandalorianknight said: I do think that overall 2027 should be focused on ANH's 50th, since it's the 50th of the movie that is the reason we have any other movies or shows or comics for star wars, but these three in particular I think would be excellent ways to give AOTC's anniversary some recognition as well. Agreed, although I can’t imagine anything too special except a UCS Falcon. Just thinking of a UCS Imperial Landing Craft, that would be amazing to say the least. A moulded bantha has to be number 1 for me for ANH, it’s about time. I have always been surprised that a small Death Star Detention Cell Breakout has never been released. A couple of Death Star Troopers with Han, Luke, Chewbacca, and Leia would go well. Maybe throw a stormtrooper and an Imperial Officer in if you’d want it to be a larger playset. Quote

I know you're a TPM guy so I'm glad to have your stamp of approval. I always try my best to make sets I think lego would actually make, and at the end of the day Maul is the bestselling part of TPM. We also just recently had a $70 infiltrator, so I wanted to distinguish it from that. Oh man I hope it's not a UCS falcon. I think the 2017 one still holds up, whereas the Blockade Runner is begging for a UCS remake. I also think there'd be something poetic about choosing the first ship ever seen in star wars as the 50th anniversary fall UCS. A UCS landing craft could be cool, though I think I might rather have a new playset one. The Lambda this year seems to imply they may be starting to take your downscaling concerns to heart, so maybe it'll be a $130ish set next year? I'm always the brick-built creatures guy, but I can't deny that something about a molded bantha has me interested. It might be nostalgia from the old LSW games. Every time I do an ANH wave, I always at least have a draft of either a large death star playset with the detention block and trash compactor, or one set of each room that can combine together. I share your surprise that we've never had a playset detention block. Brad Pitt channels his best Literally Me for a solid two and a half hours. It's great. I bring it up because I very much want Starfighter to be that film translated 1:1 into space, and correspondingly for my hopes that there's some racing involved in starfighter, I hope our set wave for it is just a bunch of unique starfighters. That's a DIABOLICAL set choice. I don't know whether to applaud you or try to exorcise you through the screen. Overall a very solid wave, I'm glad the Mcquarrie anniversary fig concept is seeing some popularity, and I think you've got a good variety of solid sets there. That Republic Gunship/Millennium falcon double punch would rival 2014 for the best heavy-hitter playset selection, and while I'm sure there'd be some whining about how we've had them before, are probably my two most-wanted system sets at that flagship price point. ArrowBricks Posted March 5 Posted March 5 (edited) In terms of movie waves or a series of playscale sets released within the same lifecycle window (2-3 years), these are the one’s I’d want from the Prequels. Swordy Posted March 5 Posted March 5 (edited) In August of last year, I started developing a RotS Anniversary wave that excluded clones, in response to the Clonemania of 2025. I must have stopped somewhere along the way for some reason, but today I finally completed it. Anyway, yes it's a bit late, but I've always wanted to add something to this thread so here it goes: Dedicated to all those who criticize Ewoks or Babu Frik and say "But Swordy, you can't celebrate RotS without its most merchandisable aspect!" $10.99 - Invisible Hand microfighter Minifig: Count Dooku (I don’t think Grevious could work in a MiFi—Grevious tax aside—plus I believe it’s been so long since a Dooku that this would be seen as mostly positive.) $19.99 - Anakin’s Jedi Interceptor Build: a much smaller build, uses a Jedi SF windscreen instead of either Interceptor windshield Minifigs: Anakin (returning to the 2012 design) and Artoo’s head (Purpose of this is to return to the intend of Inceptors/Starfighters as toys: cheap vehicles to carry your favourite Jedi. However, I don’t know if a smaller and still stable Interceptor is possible, let alone easy for beginning builders.) $34.99 - Yoda Vs Sidious: Senate Rotunda Wreckage Build: the main speaker chair with ascending or descending function, 3x Senator pods with stand that can flick them out Minifigs: Yoda, Sidious (RotS) $44.99 - Obi-Wan’s Interceptor Vs Tri-Droid Build: Recolour of Anakin’s downsized Interceptor in dark red and a tri-droid in sand blue Minifigs: Obi-Wan, Nute Gunray, B1 Pilot, B1 droid (I adore the original tri-droid in sand blue for reasons I can’t reason, so selfishly that’s been chosen over a Vulture Droid or Hyena Bomber. Furthermore, this set’s purpose is to ensure that the main characters of RotS stay under $50) $64.99 - Droid Gunship Build: redux of 2019 Gunship but with the added sidebuild of the Wookiee flyer Minifigs: Yoda, Luminara Unduli, Chewbacca, Wookie Warrior, 2x Kashyyyk B1 Droids $69.99 - Grevious Wheelbike Vs Obi-Wan’s Lizard Build: Wheelbike is similar to 2014(?), lizard is a new mold in the style of JP dinosaurs. The price reflects such an inclusion (plus Grevious tax). Minifigs: Obi-Wan, Grevious (tan, movie), Tion Medon $79.99 - Droid Attack on the Wookiees Build: redeveloped Catamaran vs Corporate Alliance Tank Droid Minifigs: Chief Tarfful, 2x unique Wookiee Warriors, Quinlan Vos, 3x B2 Droids $109.99 - Palpatine’s Office Build: I want to see a complete overhaul of the 2012 model. It would still include speeder for play, but landing pad would be right outside the door for consistency. Back wall would build out a lovely silhouette with a window that can “shatter”—huge chunk can be shoved out with lever. “I am the Senate” chair remotely swivels because that’s cooler. Minifigs: Anakin, Chancellor Palpatine (with Sidious face), Mace Window, Agen Kolar, Saesee Tiin, Kit Fisto $169.99 - Jedi Temple Build: a facade of the Jedi Temple, similar in principle to the Yavin IV base of ’23 Minifigs: Yoda, Aayla Secura, Ki-Adi Mundi, Kit Fisto, Jocasta Nu, Shaak Ti, Zett Jukassa, Jedi Youngling, Jedi Temple Guard (Turns out that you can provide all the necessary Jedi for a proper RotS celebration without referencing the murder of said Jedi–and it’s for that reason that Anakin wasn’t included, lol. Then I throw in the Temple Guard since that’s one of my top wishlisted minifigs.) $179.99 - Invisible Hand Seperatist Drednought Build: large Invisible Hand build, divided into the scenes of the duel with Dooku (which would reside where the hanger is on the in-universe vessel) and the command bridge (which is contained in the front nose); the build between the two has a Technic locking system that, when undone, allows the ship to slide apart Minifigs: Count Dooku, General Grevious (tan, movie), Obi-Wan, Anakin, Chancellor Palpatine, Artoo, 2x Magna Guards (Flagship sets with unbelievable playablilty like this sound entirely plausible to me, but given we don’t see them ever, I don’t know. My idea for the splitting function is that they’re two Technic beams that protrude from each half and lock either side-by-side or outer-inner style, but I’m unsure if that can be accomplished. There’s also the fact that including both scenes with enough room for each may be a stretch as well. Point being, LSW designers, I hope you’re reading this and can prove this is indeed possible.) $199.99 - Buildable General Grevious Build: One sick looking droid. ‘Nuff said. Minifig: Grevious (white, leans 2D microseries with sensibilities of live action) Edited March 5 by Swordy Quote

Mandalorianknight Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Good TPM ideas @ArrowBricks, I can't believe I made a "realistic" wave and somehow forgot the AAT. Yours is a solid price point and a good way to get Gunray in there. Though I suppose the answer is that in the modern era, since the vehicle has the potential to include clones, they just wouldn't do the TPM one. :/ I also think that if we get more of those $200 sandcrawler type sets, the podrace would be a solid choice for one. But lalalala I'm not reading those AOTC ideas until I do my wave. (Same to @Swordy though I saw and respect the idea of making a ROTS wave without a single clone trooper.) I’d probably go Ben Q and Kitster as additional figures. 5 hours ago, Mandalorianknight said: Geonosian Cannon ($34.99): Comes with 3x Geonosian, 1x clone sergeant, and Mace Windu Republic Gunship ($179.99): 2x Clone Pilot, 1x Clone Commander, Yoda, Coleman Kcaj, Bultar Swan Limited Edition- Dogfight over Geonosis ($199.99): Significantly larger Slave One (~1500 pcs) and a slight update to Obi-Wan's delta-7 starfighter. I do like the idea of a Geonosian Cannon, I chose to omit it because I felt it would more likely be £24.99/£29.99 given the downscales. Perhaps it could include a Forward Command Centre. 2. Ever since I saw Hasbro’s Vintage Collction Gunship, I have wanted a Gunship with more Jedi. My idea focused on Clones as I had the SPHA-T to experiment with Jedi - on reflection I’d have included another in that set idea, Pablo-Jill. 3. This is one of my most wanted sets. Whilst Lego’s downscaled versions are welcomed, it did leave a lot to be desired. Think it would be a cracking set. Quote

Oh, no, I think your figure selection for it was great. I didn't mean that the lack of another faction was an issue, I was just joking that with how clone-focused lego's been recently they'd probably choose the version of the AAT they could put clones alongside. Ironically $35 does fit in that £24.99/£29.99 window, so it all works out. Forward Command Center is a tricky one for me- the versions we've had are both much smaller than it should be, but it's also not a build that I think would sell at the "real" scale. Yup- I think the Slave One sets are without a doubt that ones that suffer most from downscaling. I think generally the downscales work out ok or at least leave a set that fulfills the same purpose, but the Slave Ones got turned into starfighters. 5 hours ago, ArrowBricks said: Republic Y-Wing Starfighter vs CIS Proton Cannon £109.99: Phase I.5 Clone Pilot, Mace Windu, Phase II Anaxes Clone Trooper, Tactical Droid, Battle Droid Really like this set idea and if it's OK I'm gonna mark it for whenever I do my next wishlist wave.
