I do like the set! I've always wanted a proper Ford pickup.

Well this one 51281759872_2a11b54e9c_c.jpg

Well this one

This and also the 42128 are perfect examples that models don't have to have a license to look cool and stylish :-)

I could not agree more; despite that I really like Zetros shape, but suspension is far from om realistic...at least Ford has realistic suspension... perhaps front axle can be lowered...the problem usthat there is no Lego part that could represent headlights since modern cars instead of headlamps have either LED behind some glass or something that looks like broken glass...

They could have used printed transparent parts, like they did with 42125.

That is the option I agree ...but as I remember people complained about that also.

And for good reason.

Yes most seem vehemently opposed to stickered headlamps.

As @Maaboo35 I'm notfan of stickers, as you can see in my MOCS. Brick / beam / panel built suction comes always in first place

Lol, yeah me too and is one of the things I absolutely abhor about Speed Champions sets which I also build a lot of. Stickers for headlights even though a lot of real life race cars have simulated or painted/decaled lights. Still I try and change them if I can, sometimes though it seems the only option, especially in system models of smaller scale.

Am i the only one who actually really likes this set? :D

I think i will try to add a front diff, or make it a Prerunner as those are RWD

Well, I like it a lot better than the recent Ferrari and Porsche sets, but less than many other sets.

This is an "18+" (seriously, what does that even mean?) set - complex features and elaborate detailing should be a given. 2WD and stickered headlamps would be an absolute joke even if this thing was labelled 10+.

18+ means it is targeted to casual adult builders, and it's more for display than for playing. This new label kind of breaks the previous logic where the higher age rating meant a more complex build.

Are they just rubbing salt in our wounds by showing how good the design was??

Seriously, B&C pillars are much better, the grille isn't as bad, the bullbar makes the front of the hood much prettier, the model has rear lights,  the tires are great and don't look like they're from a Tamiya RC car... what the brick is marketing/management department doing?!?!?!? Thta dark blue version is amazing compared to the BS we got!

Also, is that a redesign of the balljoint frame? Now has much worse connectivity...

@1gor Did you even see the wheels?

Sorry but I use mobile phone and image that I can see is simply to small and to dark

I was hoping when 42124 was intriduced with new tires for something like that
