Very cute! Though red is a somewhat surprising choice considering the actual space baby piece has yet to appear in that color. In any case, it looks cute and impressively accurate.

That's what I get for trying to post news past midnight.

Having a big Classic Space print in red is going to drive some crazy MOCing. New factions will be invented.

Your efforts are much appreciated, sir! :pir-triumph:
Its like the love child of MTRON en Classice Space.

Too much to hope for a red space baby to appear inside the larger model somewhere?

I mean, there could certainly be room for it! Would be a little surprising to debut a new fig that way though. Or maybe a red space baby could be debuting in another not-yet-revealed set? At this point all we can do is speculate.

Red would certainly be nice to have as one of the two "original" Classic Space fig colors.

Agreed. Now I think about it, if it was inside the up-scaled figure, then they would have shown that on the back of the box. So hopefully it's coming in another set soon.

New parts added to Pick-a-Brick, including the Space torsos from the City Galactic Spaceship. I know some people here were waiting on those.

Thanks for reminding me! I have now ordered the torsos and some other pieces so I can make Futuron style astronauts in those colors. I'll post some pictures when I get them.

Perhaps on PAB USA, but a quick check didn't show them on my side.

Scrap that. I found them while checking under the set number.

Sweet!

The Blacktron Renegade printed elements are available too.

My sister just pointed out to me that apparently this Lego City magazine from last year gave names to the commander/squad leaders from the City Space sets! The names listed are Alf Centauri (gold commander), Stella O'rion (blue leader), Saul Flare (green leader), and Kev Larr (orange leader). I really like these names—they remind me of classic character names from the Lego Mania Magazines I grew up with, and seem pretty fitting for these unique character designs.

Welp. There goes $25. Not bad for multiples of all the prints and windscreens. Didn't get the minfigs though.

Dark blue classic space helmet and air tanks are in the Dreamzzz 71499.

A teal classic space helmet is in Friends 42674 Comic Book and Game Shop.

Well at least we could complete the dark blue one. Though it would've been better if that teal helmet was light gray but alas it wouldn't fit with Friends. So that boosts the new Classic spaceman colors count to 3.

Great, they just had to put it in an expensive set...

How does that matter? Not like you would have to buy the set for them. Just wait and get them from PAB.

Also possibly of interest to old-school builders... looks like the Minecraft sets are introducing 6x8 plates in trans blue and trans orange, the first time we've had large transparent plates like that in a while. Now the question is, how long until trans yellow ones make their grand return?

Is there any guarantee this part will be in PAB? Or that bricklink scalpers won't buy them all up? Honestly asking because I don't know. Are there limits on how many of one piece someone can buy on PAB?

How do people find out that a part is on PAB before they get sold out?

There was supposed to be bright light blue (helmet, tanks and torso) in that canceled Dreamzzz set. :(

I do wonder if that knight helmet has a light gray classic space helmet underneath???

When it sells out on PAB, they usually restock it as a bestseller.

Luck of the draw really, you keep looking in places like here and quickly put in an order once you see it.

Are there any reasons to think it wouldn´t be put on PAB? Dreamzzz is no licensed theme and the mould itself was there in all other colours too. So, sure nothing is guaranteed of course, but I would say the chances that they won´t be there are very, very low.

They have made limits recently, and personally I do hope they change it so that they put a lower limit on certain parts, especially high recommended ones so everyone gets a chance. And sure, they will likely be sold out quick, but usually the demand settles with time and they are avaiable without issues later on, as were the Falcon Knights pieces, the Lion Knights ones or all the civilian and wolfpack ones.

I’m still waiting on the Blacktron minifig parts to hit PaB… so that the glory of Blacktron can be fully realized again! LONG LIVE BLACKTRON! No reason in particular.  Any general ideas of when that will occur?

I've never used pick a brick. Prices aren't reasonable, plus something like $30 postage or whatever, forget about it. And I can't find anything on it anyway: all the colours, items, and item numbers have weird names. Finally, according to folks on here, useful things are sold out all the time.

So I'll have to buy it from Bricklink and pay the "I parted this out from an expensive set" tax, and the "lots of other people want this (unique to one set) part" tax. But at least I'll know when it's available.

It depends on the part, some pieces are indeed very expensive, especially dualmoulded stuff, but parts like the airtank or the classic space helmet are totally not. No idea where you take the 30$ postage from, no idea what shipping costs for Australians but I would asume you also get free shipping at a certain threshold - which is normally easy to reach. Not that Bricklink would offer you free shipping anyways.
