Hi Codemito,

While we allow topics that are presented as MOCs, with pictures, write-up etc to have a link to Ideas at the end, the way you have posted this is pure self-promotion.

I am locking this topic but feel free to repost in the appropriate subforum and actually showing off your build, if you'd like.

Hi,
I have made the famous scene with the rabbit and the holy hand grenade made of LEGO!
It is an official entry on LEGO IDEAS contest, it needs 10k votes of support to be considered a real set by LEGO!
If you like it, support it on LEGO IDEAS (you can easily login with gmail, fb etc) and feel free to share it :)
Thanks!

I’d like to share my latest MOC a Speed Champions–style convertible roadster. I took inspiration from the Jaguar E-Type when designing this roadster, aiming to capture the sleek curves and classic feel in the Speed Champions scale I wanted to capture the feel of a classic open-top sports car in the compact 8-stud format.  I had a lot of fun designing this and have also submitted it to LEGO Ideas.

The numbers passing have become ridiculous. I can't even be bothered to look through the qualifiers to think about what might be made this time.

Set 21362 has created a great deal of excitement in the rock/mineral/nature collector community. Any idea when it might ship in October, available for pre-orders now.

Just curious why this rule from https://beta.ideas.lego.com/rules-guidelines seems so hard for submitters to understand?  My emphasis bolded.

Quote

Know what's already a LEGO Set

We don’t accept ideas based on existing LEGO themes, such as LEGO Star Wars, projects too similar to ones that have already been approved as LEGO Ideas sets or anything resembling any LEGO set currently on shelves. Some broad overlap – for example, a build based on a Disney film that has never been a LEGO Disney set – will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Why waste your time when you should know ahead of time that it will never be produced.

Because some people either don't read the IDEAS rules or don't believe they should apply to them. And often ignore Eurobricks rules too and set up an account and start multiple threads promoting their IDEAS submission and never come back.

Ever since I started building with LEGO, I’ve loved the challenge of turning everyday objects into working models.

This creation is a functional coin sorter, designed entirely out of LEGO bricks – but with a twist: I gave it a Steampunk look, combining mechanical function with a vintage, industrial aesthetic.

The model doesn’t just sit on a shelf – it actually works. When you drop coins in, the mechanism sorts them by size as they travel through the gears and channels. To bring it to life, I added a Steampunk flavor: exposed gears, copper-style details, and a retro-futuristic vibe that makes it look like something out of an old inventor’s workshop.

My goal was to merge functionality and storytelling. The model feels like it could belong in a 19th-century factory, or on the desk of a mad scientist counting their treasure.

I’d love to hear what you think about it – both the mechanism itself and the design style. Do you prefer the engineering aspect, or the Steampunk look?

Thanks for taking a look – feedback and thoughts are always welcome!

hey community, I'm trying to  pull off a birthday surprise for one of my best friends, an architect who created this LEGO model of a famous K67 hot dog kiosk. We’re now at 8.7k supporters, so close to the 10k milestone - but time is running out and support has slowed down.

If you’d like to help give him the best birthday surprise ever, please take 30–40 seconds to register and vote here:

Thank you so much!

If you make it to 10,000 but don't get selected - from the site:

If your build does not make it past the review stage, you will still be a lifelong member of the 10K Club! You will also be rewarded for getting so far with a LEGO gift (up to three products of your choice, with a maximum total value of US$500, subject to availability).

So you know, there's that.

Probably the reason so many resubmissions get put in, and so many modular-style buildings that will never be produced.

Hi everyone!

I’ve recently created a LEGO build inspired by one of my favorite scenes from the French series *Kaamelott*. It was a super fun project to make, and I’d really love to know what you think about it!

If you’d like to support the idea on LEGO Ideas, you can do it here:

Thank you :)

Hello everyone!

I just completed my new project: Caribbean Holiday, a Caribbean villa complete with a private pool, tropical garden, and many small details that evoke the atmosphere of the summer holidays.

The model is designed as a display set as well as a playset, with furnished interiors, bright colors, and a relaxed, sunny holiday aesthetic.

📸 What the project includes:

  • A Caribbean-style villa with a thatched roof and accessible interiors
  • A private pool with a relaxation area
  • A garden filled with tropical plants and flowers, tended by a gardener
  • Decorative details and scenes that depict the vacation

If you'd like to check it out, you can find it here:👉 https://beta.ideas.lego.com/product-ideas/0bc8b41d-8a96-47f2-b5a6-fac6abd611dc

What part would you improve or add?
Any feedback is welcome.

Thanks.

3 new Ideas sets have been picked from the crazy second 2025 review period, plus 1 set from the parking lot:

  • Edward Scissorhands
  • Amsterdam houses
  • National Lampoon’s Christmas vacation
  • Old Man and the Sea

Good selections I think! The Amsterdam one is my favourite idea out of these 4 ^^

A little sad that half of Ideas sets are licensed slop. It's like Speed Champions but for houses.

I've become a lot more interested in BDP in recent years than Ideas.

For one thing, every Ideas set at this point is like $100+ and licensed, so it's basically indistinguishable from the normal, $100+ licensed stuff that's already out.  Is the current Jaws set on shelves from Ideas?  I genuinly have no idea, it might be, it might not be.  Point being, it felt a lot more "special" when they weren't making a licensed set of every single pop culture property ever.  The Snoopy set that's coming out/came out recently (and I think is Ideas?) looks great, but I can pretty much guarantee that they would've made that within the next 5 years anyway had an Ideas project not gotten any traction there.

The second part is that it feels like half of the submissions are just people clout chasing without giving any consideration whatsoever to what would actually make a good set.  A lot of stuff is either bigger than it needs to be (mostly some of the minifigure-based sets) or is a great MOC but is way too big/lacking in features to actually be a good set.

I skimmed through the most recent review list and five projects jumped out at me to where I thought "Huh, I actually want to see more of this" - the penguin zoo, the modular medieval village, the 1800s train, the working volcano, and the Clash Royale one (mostly because I was curious how they represented that in LEGO form).  Probably two thirds of them are licensed, which I feel is just turning into "ways to get minifigures made from properties that people like" rather than people actually wanting the set made.

I think there's some great builds out there, but not every build needs to be part of the Ideas system.  I realize that a lot of these get filtered out in the review process, but it just seems kind of pointless when half of the sets in a review have no chance from the start.

Anyway, with BDP, getting those giant MOC-like sets made is kind of the point, since it doesn't really need to be a viable product on store shelves, so I think it's cool to see what people come up with from their own creativity with fewer limitations on what they can and can't do.

The same for me although I really hope it will get a big rework and Lego will make the set a lot more interesting.

In the BDP program we have had "Bricksterdam" submitted for a few rounds now, same concept but so much better executed.

The "Idea" set they have selected looks very bland in comparison.

TRUTH NUCLEAR. I've been saying all of this for years. To add on to the clout chasing, I would say they absolutely do this. It's long been the meta on Ideas to pump out ideas about popular nerd adjacent franchises and spam them on relevant forums and subreddits to get upvotes from fans of the IP, not necessarily fans of Lego.
