This makes me think Stonewars were mistaken and it‘s not a gaming IP after all. But which theme would return with nothing but an 18+ set? This fits neither SpongeBob, ATLA, nor TMNT. 

Any updates about this yet? I’m just trying to refresh my memory.

While thinking about it if Warhammer would be an interesting setting (personally Fantasy would suit LEGO best) ,  I doubt it'll ever happen for many reasons applying to LEGO and Games Workshop's strictness. (miniatures, war, daemons, guns, dark themes etc)

Also some of it would probably really look dumbed down in minifig scale or need extremely specialized pieces/prints.

And they don't need a warhammer license for minifig knights or large scale dragon/creature/castle display models. (+ they already went the way of big display models for LOTR)

Oh, yeah. I read that as a “returning theme” in the first place.

That was a wrong assumption. The leakers said an old theme would return and “P” was the only unknown theme after the other two were revealed to be Shrek and KPDH. Turns out the returning theme was SpongeBob, but as an Icons set, hence the confusion

According to a Brick Tap source, we’re actually getting another Dune set in January! It’s 11392 Sandworm with 1837 pieces for $140. Another set from the april fools post that might be real!

Huh. Looks like the upcoming Shenron set won’t be a one-off since DBZ is now rumoured to be a new theme next year!

I really don't have an attachment to DBZ (even though I saw some episodes when I was a child) but it is pretty cool we are finally getting anime based sets. I hope we get more anime IP's in the future and One Piece sets based on the anime.

It's not anime, but if we're on the topic of hoping that "if this one thing gets a set, maybe there's a chance for this other thing that resembles it", I'm hoping the sleek red Tintin rocket opens things up to getting the sleek red Thunderbirds rocket in a couple of years. Not sooner than a couple of years, though. My wallet probably won't be able to handle another sleek red rocket until about 2030.

I have a lot of unofficial dbz minifigs and they are great. I already was very delighted with the Shenron rumour, but official dbz sound very cool. I don’t know if the official ones can be better than the other brands, but i really hope they bring us early dragon ball stuff. There are still so many early characters that are missing. 
The other brands are giving us all kind of Brolys and even fan-fiction versions of characters. But the old school roster still needs to be completed.

Hello, this seems like the thread where Project Hail Mary set is discussed. I (in UK) have recently bought the set as a present for someone but I haven’t seen the film. I want a display case to go with it but the two I am looking at are very different colour schemes. Can some one who loves the film and the set tell me which in their opinion seems to fit better with the film / set please? I can’t upload pictures because of the size but one is a Wicked Bricks case with greens and yellow and the other is on Amazon UK called Plexico and is a red colour. I know there’s a long wait time on the Wicked Bricks set too. Sorry that’s not very descriptive but any help appreciated. Thank you.
