Hello, this seems like the thread where Project Hail Mary set is discussed. I (in UK) have recently bought the set as a present for someone but I haven’t seen the film. I want a display case to go with it but the two I am looking at are very different colour schemes. Can some one who loves the film and the set tell me which in their opinion seems to fit better with the film / set please? I can’t upload pictures because of the size but one is a Wicked Bricks case with greens and yellow and the other is on Amazon UK called Plexico and is a red colour. I know there’s a long wait time on the Wicked Bricks set too. Sorry that’s not very descriptive but any help appreciated. Thank you.

I think Grond looks okay but not amazing. It’s perfectly fine though. I liked the official Lego release video. The set does look amazing.

I like that joust. It may be my first BDP purchase and I’ll convert it to a Black Falcons themed.

TBoBF was my least favourite… until Ahsoka came out. But I bought the Boba’s palace set and liked the range of figures for it. As bad as I thought Ahsoka was, I still bought a couple of sets because I wanted an E-Wing and the Ghost (and a Shin Hati figure). Andor is one of my favourite series of all time in any genre, but I didn’t buy any sets from there (although maybe I would have done if there had been more choice). I realise I’m probably in the minority but I buy a set on whether I like it or not regardless of how I view the media it comes from.

Bought it in the sale. I’ve been meaning to pick it up so I’m happy to finally get it.

Whilst I would have preferred something with a mini fig I actually think the GWP looks quite good

Ordered the book nook the other day, £79.99 on Amazon UK which seemed a more reasonable price for it.

Are we still expecting this 12th September?

I took the hit and ordered Jabba’s sail barge (UK). 15% off, the GWP and some nectar points was too big an opportunity to pass up.

If anyone follows Jay’s Brick Blog on Twitter he has photos of some of the sections of the tower stacked together to elongate it. Looks pretty good. Think I’ll looking into Bricklinking the relevant parts rather than buying two copies 😆

Well that wave makes a lot more sense now. I’m not sure I’ll buy any of the sets (I may get Jedi Bob) but I have to say that I like that Lego are trying something different with this wave.

He was on one more than once in Rebels too. Even if he doesn’t set foot on one in the OT, I don’t think it’s that big a leap for Lego to include him given it’s a big imperial based set.

I’m happy about that being a Smyths exclusive. I’ve never paid full price for a set from there.

That’s all the proof I need it’s going to happen.

Big fan of the diorama. One of the best yet that.

Love the official promotional video for it. My opinion of it has definitely gone up.

I like it. Couldn’t have been better? Sure. Is there enough in there for me to be excited for it? Definitely.

I’ve just bought a bunch of the purple clones at about £10 per clone, so that pretty much guarantees they will come in the magazine at some point 😆🙈
