You are not the only one who wants that to happen!

Yeah! And with some new cool arts currently in production, i think Mystery Machine needs to be redone - little more curved, less blocky.

With new pair of medium legs, it will work on Velma.

And MORE monsters, please!!

You may think I’m crazy but i would like to see lego doing a Nintendo-related theme….POKEMON. Of course, it’s highly likely because:

1.) There are over 900 pokemon so it’s more difficult to design new molds

2.) Size scale is little challenging becuase of the system

3.) Game Freak owns Pokemon, not Nintendo

@TandNbricks claims we‘re getting a MI set this year! Sounds pretty far-fetched, but then again, there are still some Icons sets left this year.

Very exciting, if true! :excited:

I wonder if they're combing the Orient Express set with Mission Impossible. You know, because of the new film. It would makes sense, in a way.

Ohhh, good thinking! That‘d be pretty crazy though, turning an unlicensed Ideas project into a licensed set is unheard of

Since most of the main characters are onboard that train, this could result in a very interesting minifig selection :excited:

I can already see all the young kids trying to recreate the train wreck scene, even if the set wasn't licensed. I can also hear all the parents who own the set quietly cursing for rebuilding the train for the umpteenth time.

The LEGO part replacement service is going to be busy in the future!

It won't be tied to MI but it's an excellent way to recreate some scenes from the movie.

I would like to see Digimon and YuGiOh (the classic ones to be specific), along with One Piece and Naruto.

My Wallet would feel it if we got some anime sets, One Piece would be a dream come true. Naruto and Yu-Gi-Oh would also be cool to have as themes. Throw in Dragon Ball and Bleach in there and I'm in LEGO anime theme heaven.

You know what? Megablock it. Let's get an Oppenheimer lego set. Wouldn't even neccesarily have to be licensed. The movie was just that good.

In more realistic terms, with Dune 2 coming, it'd be a good time to release some Dune sets. We could have stuff like:

Battle Packs:

Fremen warriors pack ($14.99): 4x fremen with a sand trap to replicate how they pop out of the sand. Alongside their standard weapons, we'd have some of their mounting gear and a molded crysknife.

House Artrides/House Harkennon/Sardukar warriors pack ($14.99 each): 4x soldiers of each faction with a barricade of some kind and their house/imperial banners.

Standard sets:

Fremen Encounter ($49.99): The two-seater thopter with some desert terrain and a thumper. Comes with Paul Artrides (stillsuit), The Lady Jessica, Stilgar, and Chani.

Ornithopter ($69.99): Ornithopter (seats for 4 with room for an additional 2-3 figs to stand by the rear ramp) with Paul (stillsuit), Duke Leto, Gurney Hallack, Kynes, and Duncan Idaho.

Harkennon Troop Transport ($109.99): Harkennon transport ship with a play feature to drop soldiers from it on lines. Comes with 2x harkennon soldier, 2x Sardukar, 3x artrides soldier, and Gurney Hallack (plainclothes)

D2C: UCS ornithopter ($299.99): A massively detailed and scaled ornithopter with exclusive, hyperdetailed figs of Paul Atrides and Duke Leto.

Diorama: Shai Hulud ($89.99): A diorama of the desert with the mouth of a massive sandworm dwarfing the included Paul Artrides figure. Quote is "I must not fear. Fear is the mind killer."

Dune sets would indeed be cool, but that ship has long sailed I’m afraid. The 2nd comes out pretty soon (unless it gets delayed as rumours suggest) and after that, there’s only that Sisterhood show left, plus an adaptation of the second book apparently. The rest of the books are probably too weird to be adapted.

The films are definitely in TLG’s ballpark, both content- and age rating-wise, but I doubt too many kids are actually into Dune :shrug_oh_well:

An Icons set aimed at adults would be awesome though!

Good thing this is the dream themes thread, not the likely and reasonable to assume will happen thread .

I absolutely adore the concept but imo there's just too much for Lego to make Doctor Who sets based on specific stories (and a lot of those stories won't have a broad audience appeal). I suspect if a Doctor Who licence ever did come, it would be a combination of iconic playsets (the TARDIS) and generic settings featuring Doctor Who villains. For instance, we might get a futuristic city with some daleks, but we're probably not going to get Skaro c. 1964

Definitely this! Maybe make give it the interactive treatment a la LEGO Dimensions or LEGO Super Mario with a Pokémon Stadium-style battling game.

If it's the one with the yellow canopy, I'm also taking credit.

Unfortunately (for classic space purposes at least, I prefer the main one for Dune) it's likely the main one. I suppose it's always possible it's the small two-seater and the extra figs are just Fremen like Chani and Stilgar, but I think it's much more likely the set is the main ornithopter model based on the spice harvester scene and will include Paul, Leto, Gurney, and Kynes.
